This Hotel looked amazing on the site, photos show lovely rooms, in reality it was disgusting.
Felt like I was back in a 50’s cheap hotel room.
So many OH&S in the room wasn’t funny.
1. Room was dirty
2. Bathroom lights didn’t work so lamp was sat on bench, that wouldn’t work so 3x extension cords were brought it so we could plug it into the other side of the room and take lamp into bathroom.
3. Cords to tv, fridge taped to the wall so it could taken to the power points in the kitchenette.
4. Towels were so thin, one wipe and towels we soaking wet took two towels to dry yourself.
5. Upstairs room sounded like a herd of elephants running around moving all the furniture after this continue for a hour we called the manager/ owner and was told they weren’t at the property and they would call around to the rooms and find out who is making the noise and if it doesn’t stop in 20 minutes to call back and he will come in. Noise continue for another hour.
4. They had the nerve to charge for this disgusting room.
5. Shower was hot, tv worked & bed comfy.
Very disappointed Booking.com had this on there site, the photos were so false.

Whilst the booking.com app works fine, the company itself does not. I cancelled a booking due to the accommodation not being as advertised and the accommodation agreed to a refund and refunded to booking.com. Booking.com did not refund me. I contacted booking.com and their customer service said the money had been transferred to me and would take 7-10 business days. This did not happen and I contacted booking.com again. I was advised that the money had not been transferred and that it would take a further 7 -10 days.
Incompetent or dishonest ?
I use booking.com a lot. I’ve never had any issues with the site in any way. I’ve had to cancel a booking at the very last minute (twice) and the staff from booking.com were nothing but helpful, understanding and sympathetic to my situation. I was even able to get a refund on a non refundable booking, that’s how amazing they are. My husband and I won’t use any other site when booking accomodation. It’s easy to use and navigate and again, the staff a great and helpful if you give them a call.
Amazing experience on The Stellar of the Sea. Our butler Lisa was extremely friendly and professional and couldn’t help us more than she did. Was there for all our needs. Tracy, was amazing, organised a private boat to get us back to the mainland so we could make our flight to Hoi An. She was so friendly and accomodating, there was nothing I could fault from the whole experience.
Excellent apartment! Friendly, helpful staff and very clean/tidy. Right in the centre of the Gold Coast action. We were worried it would be too noisy at night, however once we were in the apartment, it was lovely and quiet and had the best night sleep in a very comfortable bed. We very much recommend and would definitely stay here again.
I highly recommend this accommodation. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful! We were in a group of three families. They tried their best to allocate our rooms on the same floor. The room was clean and spacious. I would especially thank them for organizing a late check out for my sick child. We really appreciated it!
Away from the major hustle and bustle of the CBD. Easy to access though parking can be an issue and it is quite a distance from the accommodation. Lots of places to visit close by. Eateries are generally well-suited for the travelling public with lots of choice of cuisine. Close enough also to the airport if you have a hire car.
I generally book all my holiday accommodation thru Booking.com Very user friendly Rewarded for using the site by discounts. Love the cancellation policy if you wish to book this way if not save and don’t have this on yr booking. I booked all my European hotels on this site. Booking.com simply the best way to Book.
from the outside, you would not think that the rooms and the bed-and-breakfast are so beautiful on the inside and our stay was wonderful. modern facilities, and very good communication with the owner. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and we hope to stay here again one day when we come back.
I booked 90% of our entire Japan trip through Booking App. It was perfect. The choice of cancellation before the due date is the best!! It gave us options with accommodation. All the ranking and comments are from really guests and it matches with descriptions. I will be the loyal customer to booking.com!!!
