Phone call made to rectify a minor issue. Was not spoken to by booking,com operator in a calm professional manner. Booking.com is quick to take payment, yet when slight changes were made to guest name due to paying customer not able to attend resort due to hospitalisation. Customer made changes on Booking.com to guest attending resort so money would not be lost due to non attendance. Booking.com sent confirmation email of guest name change. customer immediately contacted resort accommodation to inform them paying customer will not be able to attend, however made reservation guest name change and was informed that booking.com will have to confirm guest name change. Paying customer emailed resort with confirmation letter from Booking.com however when guests attended resort, they were turned away. Phone call made to Booking.com operator who did not make any attempt to assist paying customer by calling the resort which was already paid for to confirm guest name change. Booking.com operator hung up on paying customer. I am disgusted that a simple matter was not handled in an appropriate and professional manner. I am appalled that the paying customer had to plead with resort to allow my son and his wife to check in to my paid accommodation on reasonable grounds. Even when providing email verification, and contacting Booking.com to assist with a minor issue, no help nor assistance was given
I have been coming to these cottages for over 6 years now and have noticed the womanly touches have almost disappeared, with so many beautiful blooming camellias all around you would think just one real flower in there wouldn’t be to much to ask for. I found it a little depressing with all the dark furniture. Black cough dark blue rug black throw rug and the one brown cushion on the cough . The bath room now has visible mould as the vent doesn’t work. As I know the location is a national park the entrance to the cabins has turned into a play ground for children on the left as you come in and a storage area , with large un sightly shipping containers visible not to mention the stock pile next to the reception area. I guess what really topped it off for me is the best before dates on the cereal left for us . One was out by 7 days and the other 25 days out... so sad :(
Bedroom clean. Bathroom clean. But used soap left in shower and vanity.
Shared kitchen. Wouldn’t recommend cooking or eating in there. Long term residence live there. Wish I knew this as would not have booked. Don’t mind sharing but kitchen Not clean or appliances. Small creek outside the door. Wouldn’t recommend for families with little kids. The place has s lot of potential and when fully renovated it could be nice. Trying to to be fair as they may have just started renovating? Used soap may have been overlooked? Made us questioning if en-suite had been cleaned. Won’t be back.
Myself and my Wife have booked numerous holidays with booking.com and every single time we’ve been satisfied immensely. Even through the Covid period with cancellation of bookings with no issue at all. We’ll always search through booking.com 1st. Thanks for the good service and thanks for many more to come.

We stayed for one night to celebrate the last week of school holiday here at Riley. Everything was smooth, enjoyed our stay in the room on estranged side. The view was beautiful, we had some time around the pool, the service was good, still some restrictions around although it did not bother us.
I have been in several different levels and rooms here. Good value for what amenities are available to you. Only down fall for me is some rooms the bedroom is near the front door and walkway so lights glowing outside all night may disturb your sleep but no biggy for me. I still keep coming back
Someone kept booking under my name. When I contacts customer service about this their line of questioning kept veering me back to trying to rebook my hotel, and how they hope I get back to them soon. No apology or acknowledgement of the failure in their system. I’m done with these booking apps.

Bookings . Com is the best we had to cancell a Europe trip with no cost thanks to Bookings. Com policy and now a QLD trip due to border closure I would not use any other travel company Compare their policies with airlines and adventure travel companies .no comparison
