I absolutely love this app! Garmin has been such a great app and I also love my watch. Garmin Instinct. It is such a great watch and really motivating! Definitely a great watch! But there are a few things that need to be upgraded on this watch. Firstly, there needs to be much more watch faces on this watch, there are not many at all. They also don't look that impressive and need to be more eye-catching. Secondly, can I just say, the GPS on this watch is magnificent!!!! I love it! When I go for walks or a run or even a bike ride, it knows exactly where i go. But it needs to be made a bit more simple, like when navigating, tell us the name of the streets/road and give people step to step navigating eg: turn left in one KM. Thirdly, the motivating factor with the Garmin instinct is not great. There need to be more motivating messages because right now it just says ’move’ when it wants you to walk around. Maybe instead of this put other messages saying like ”go for a quick walk” or something like that. Also, it would be really good if when you hit your goal, the apps sends the phone a notification saying that the goal has been reached. Also, it would be good if you could get games on the Garmin instinct to play. Finally, I don't know if you guys can do this but are you able to please let this app at least accept IOS 10 because my phone won't update anymore and I cannot update this app.

Really love the look of my Garmin Vivoactive 4s but the app is really a disappointment.. I recently updated it and it completely reset all my logged data for starters and now after a few weeks the app won’t even open, so I am going to have to delete/ reinstall the app which I’m sure will result in a similar situation.. also not a fan of your sleep tracker, once I had woken up at 7, and gotten out of bed at 8 then later checked and it had recorded that I was fast asleep until 8.. also doesn’t seem to record times your awake for toilet brakes in the night.. ALSO you need to download a second app for different screens and most you can’t actually view what they are going to look like til you download/install on the watch.
All in all I would recommend Garmin for looks only, in this day and age with as much competition as there is with smart watches, I feel you are really sub par...
This is always a buggy app but it’s getting worse. Often looses all your data and you have to start from scratch. Looses sync with watch often and have to delete app and factory reset watch to reconnect them. Now 1 minute after this latest update the app is completely dead and had to delete app to fix it.
Was going to continue with Garmin after breaking my Apple Watch. However this does not compete with Apple. Also Garmin pay worked in the beginning now it’s stopped and their is no support for this that I can find. Garmin blames the retailer and user error only.
Probably the worst piece of tech I have purchased. If it had worked I would have bought several of their watches. Unfortunately going to have to return to the extremely fragile Apple Watch that at least does what it says on the box
I’ve had my Garmin Vivimove HR for a good couple of years ago and it does all that I need or expect it to. The iTunes app is fine as well and has - until now - mostly worked very well.
However for at least a week now the app and associated website have been “down for maintenance”. Hence the whole underlying support structure for processing of data, etc is inoperative. I cannot recall ever seeing an established online company being so paralysed by such a fault or meltdown.
There seems to be no way for a user to attempt any troubleshooting (presumably because everything is “under maintenance” ). Surely the least Garmin could do is email or text their customers to explain the situation and give some kind of prognosis.
Your Garman mobile app (connect) and other online applications have been off-line for more than 24 hours. You have not provided a sufficient explanation for this which is unsatisfactory. In addition there are no means by which you can be contacted.You need to explain what is actually happening rather than saying you are undergoing maintenance. I expect, like other Garmin users, you should provide a full explanation at the earliest time possible. For this you are receiving a Zero Star (I was forced to user one Star) rating as you do not have a good redundancy plan to provide continuity of service. I expected far more than this from Garmin with whom I have had products for over 10 years.
Hi all I received my watch tactic delta on 7 July 2020, the weather app is not working I enabled location to always restarted phone watch nothing happens. The app keep showing something went wrong watch keeps showing waiting for connect app kelts app running background, this is very disappointing I waited for a month for the watch. 70$ watch shows weather man so what’s the point of buying your product
What is the solution to this the web article shows a patch was released clearly the problem is not fixed, regarding your website that should have option to upload photos video of problem too.
Good app in terms of features, but when it comes to syncing, it has issues frequently. Not to mention making you take the watch off and plug it into the charger so it will sync again with the app. Also when you want to edit the day and keep the order the widgets appear the in the app for the next day-it resets the next day... also in terms of maintenance awareness- it doesn’t inform you how long it will be- just says soon and it’s already been three days. If Garmin has had a Ransomeware attack, it should inform its customers. Not put it under the guise of “maintenance”.
This app has always worked well for me, and the watch too. Recently however when I open the app looking to sync, it says that my device isn’t connected via Bluetooth and so can’t sync. When I go in to settings it shows that it is, and I’m easily able to get notifications so I know my phone and watch are connected. Now with the new update, or something of the sort, I can’t even opeb the app - it just crashes and sends me back to the home page. I really like using your app so people rectify this ASAP.
If I could give zero stars I would. The app worked really very well until a week ago and now it constantly says it’s down for maintenance. I have deleted it, turned my phone off and on, reinstalled it and the app constantly says it’s down for maintenance “check back shortly”. I want to know how much longer “shortly” will be. I need the information I’ve stored in the app to show my Dr. PLEASE get it up and going again.
So annoying that Garmin are not providing up to date information as to when they will be restoring user data to this app.
I can no longer login to my account at all.
Highly frustrating & unacceptable for buyers of their products at almost $1k for their fitness watch, you’d think the Company could at-least keep its customers up to date instead of getting information from third party tech media writers
