Booked hotel 6 months in advance. Called hotel to make a request for our room. Hotel in question has no record of our reservation and no availability. Booking.com customer service advised us to carry on as usually and they would cover the extra expense. That the booking was active in their system. What a terrible way to operate. Travel with my family of 5 to a place I know doesn’t have a room for me. Scramble to get another accommodation and then try to get reimbursed by Bookings.com. I don’t recommend this service. I’ve rescheduled at a different location 30km through hotels.com. I’ll be going back to hotels.com for my reservation needs.
This app works great, one can seach hotels and other properties easily and the service is reliable. The communication with the hotels and booking.com is reliable too.
There is room for improvement though: it’s impossible to scroll through the saved hotels/ wish list. First you have to go to your profil, then to “saved” but one there you are in a forth of my ipad screen and once I check one of the hotels I can’t go back to the list. That’s very annoying and bad design. Please fix it! There should be a tab for saved hotels.
I recently booked a ticket from Miami to Toronto with flexible package. I paid extra in order to be able to change the ticket later on. Now that I want to change the ticket, booking.com agent says, it is both possible. They also sold me a non refundable expensive ticket that I would never buy anyway. The agents are super useless, can help with anything. My $1600 ticket just wasted. I will never use this app anymore. If they conduct business like that, bankruptcy is not that far.
I was having conflict with Cristalaat Aseel Hotel in Mecca 🕋 and I provided all proof how they were low class that hotel and how the Mohammad Omar was un respectful and big lair. However I contacted the Booking customers, but they sell themselves to change my review.
I don’t recommend this app because they collect low level hotels and houses.

Good app but I don’t travel that often. It’s annoying that I can’t disable notifications about how I can “save 10% if I book today”. If I don’t like it I guess I need to uninstall the app until the next time I want to travel?
*edit* I had already disabled travel ideas notifications but they added a new “genius” notification type that you need to scroll down to find. Maybe now I’ll stop getting spammed.
Easy checking in, the lady working took extra time to show us on the map places to go. Fantastic location, so close to the Markt. Room was perfect for 3 people. It was nice and quiet, which was a huge bonus as we were still jet lagged when we arrived and needed sleep. Beds were super comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Booking.com guarantees if you miss a flight due to airline related issues they will book you a new flight. This is a lie, I had to book a new flight for 1200$ to get home as booking.com said there was nothing they could do, even though they specifically say on their website they would help. I would rate them a 0/5 star if I could.
I only use booking they got great prices and the best customer satisfaction easy to find accommodations any where and easy to use it's the only app that gives you 30 days of stay in one booking no other app gives me that long even though Google you'll find that booking got the best rate Thanks Booking 😊🙏🏼
Étant des personnes plus âgées, il serait beaucoup plus facile de savoir sur quel étage se trouve l’hébergement disponible plutôt qu’avoir à deviner où communiquer avec les propriétaires à chaque fois. Avec les fuseaux horaires il est difficile d’avoir une réponse rapidement.
