Millions of people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. And now, we’ve been named one of Apple’s 2021 Apps of the Year for connection. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behaviour. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS & NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: - Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. - Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. - Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use. It’s alright

Bumble doesn’t normally let me post my reviews but I’ll still try. If I say too much it won’t work. Anyways, the app gives a good amount of free swipes. There’s often an issue where someone will like you from an out of range town, and bumble will never let you match them unless you pay. The pay scheme is ridiculous, you’re paying over double the cost of Netflix just to bet on yourself. They try to entice you to pay for bumble premium but it’s not worth the money, unless you really badly need to date and your basically just looking for someone desperately. The people on bumble who you’ll match with are definitely way more down to earth then people on tinder or Wild etc. For some reason you can’t share audio, you can only record live audio, and bumble won’t let you do re takes, it’ll just immediately send your live audio to the other person even if you screwed something up. I don’t think you can share photos either, so you kind of have to outsource to Snapchat with almost every person you match with. The profile design is pretty flexible and you can choose a variety of options to portray who you are, but it could be more flexible. Bumble kind of traps you in a pocket, and you have to choose preset questions to answer about yourself. They could let you have more freedom. The max character length could also be longer. The app can be a little buggy. I have one bug with my app that never seems to fix itself no matter if I reinstall, wipe the data or anything. It’s an annoying bug, because basically what it is, is Bumble is supposed to send notifications about when I receive a new match, except it doesn’t. So the issue there, is bumble has a Moto they run by, where once you match with someone, there’s only a 24 hour window for the first message to be sent, which essentially starts the conversation but the other person still must reply to lock the convo in. There’s a catch though, it’s only the female who’s allowed to send the first message, and the boy must wait. To add to that, once the female sends that message, now the 24 hour clock resets, because now the boy must reply to that message within 24 hours. If the boy fails, all is lost. Yeah, I know, bummer right? Well, bumble does let you do one thing, which is extend the match another 24 hours if the female hasn’t messaged yet. If the female has already messaged and the new 24 hour window passes by, you MUST PAY to get a rematch. So anyways, my bumble tells me that it’ll send me notifications about new matches and the new messages I get from those matches, but then proceeds not to tell me anything. So literally everytime I open bumble, there’s an expired match from a week ago. And some on these matches, I actually really wanted to message them, but you know, I only had that 24 hour window and then bumble never notified me of it. So that’s definitely an annoying bug, kind of ruins the app for me. I don’t think many other people get this bug, but many others report on bugs that this app has. It’s not the worst dating app ever, I have met nice people on the app, in my opinion the app could be better and it could be less schematic and they can’t be charging people that much for monthly memberships. I’ll give it a 2 out of 5. If not for the bug, I’d say it’s a solid 3 out of 5, but that bug really ruined it for me.
Instagram/OnlyFans Spam ruins another app
Scotsman in Calgary on 2022-11-28
Well folks, it was nice while it lasted… until OnlyFans women promoting their porn pages clogged the app. Bumble- banned OF usernames. Guess what happened next? OF porn ladies just used Insta handles on profiles. One then goes thru the same laborious, typically disappointing, cynical process- the ‘insta porn/bot OF check’. 1. See lady on BB. 2. Like lady on BB, uhoh… don’t swipe R Yet! Look for IG handle on profile, launch IG, enter name. 3. Click thru arms length 3rd party suspect looking URL shortener service. 3. Sigh. Land on Another OF/porn promoter cash beg woman. (vast majority). 4. Scroll to bottom. Report profile under ‘spam/commercial’. 5. Repeat. 6. One does this for a while and one realises one is wasting one’s time. I just swipe left on anyone with an IG handle now. Dear BB… newsflash… banning OF just made the spammers fallback to using something else, basically ALL social media handles, IG, TWTR, etc needs to be banned being listed on profile page. Did not pay for lifetime membership to “enjoy” flipping through a glorified classified service for OnlyFans porn performers - that, get this- are getting a *FREE* ‘shop front’ recruitment funnel courtesy of bumble. Bumble devs…. You realise the spammers are laughing at you, right? Hosting countless porn performers pictures must cost a heck of a lot of server space and bandwidth no? Ban 👏🏻 Instagram 👏🏻 handles 👏🏻 today 👏🏻
Not Even Getting Any Likes with this App
redchip720 on 2022-11-28
Before you all say it’s because my profile sucks it wasn’t always this way….. I used to get matches often enough and even went on a couple dates but for some reason in recent months I can barely even muster a couple likes on my profile. At least with Tinder I’m getting a lot of likes even if I’m not getting many matches, but again that wasn’t always the case. Now I’ll be honest when I was younger I was one of those guys who would swipe right on almost every profile. But I’ve matured since then, and I’m starting to feel like my profile isn’t being shown to anyone anymore because of my past activity. I don’t know how Bumble’s algorithm works or how it differs from other apps, but I would really like some clarity on this because I strongly feel that I should be getting a lot more matches and likes than I am, and I don’t want to feel like my profile’s been blacklisted because of how I used the app 5+ years ago (and yes, it really has been that long….)
My least favourite of the dating apps
637382823829173648828 on 2022-11-28
This is the worst of the big dating apps. You get a seemingly arbitrary number of likes that replenish after a seemingly arbitrary amount of time, and when you do get a match there’s the insidiously stupid double time limit where the girl has 24 hours to message first and then you have 24 hours to respond. It’s pointless to use it if you’re not paying for it, as I only ever get a tiny fraction of the likes I do on tinder or hinge. Tinder is also difficult to use without paying but at least I can manage a handful of matches a week for free, I’d need to use bumble for months to get the same numbers. Also why is the swiping so sensitive? It functions the same way as tinder but it’s so easy to swipe by accident, something that almost never happens to me on tinder.
Way too easy to mis-swipe
Bob6289294792 on 2022-11-28
The app is pretty general for a dating app aside from one feature that is basically app ruining for me. My biggest complaint is that when you scroll down to see someone’s photos it’s way too sensitive and you end up swiping left/right on people on accident. It has happened to me numerous times and has been a problem with the app for years so I honestly just assume this is done on purpose to get people to pay for premium so you can beck-track and fix any mistakes you make. The user experience would be greatly improved if this were fixed.
Fix this damn app
VerbalCANIS on 2022-11-28
I have had 2 different accounts that have randomly been logged out, and will not let me log back in. I can’t be banned for I do not even talk to anybody on this app because nobody matched or talks to me. When I’m at the login screen, and use any of the 3 ways to log in, it accepts all 3 different ways if logging in, but it does not log me in. Fix this app, because there is no reason as to why this should be happening. I’ve even contacted you guys via the bumble site multiple times with no reply on how to fix this.
Good app but…
Milkyway457 on 2022-11-28
The paid version is ridiculously priced, while the free version is too restrictive (no surprise). It’s especially not worth it if you only use one of the offered modes. It’s ridiculous how much these apps charge now a days just for monthly subscription. Not long ago, $60 was the price for a hardware copy of an app and all it’s updates. Ironically (or maybe it’s not so ironic at all), these apps are controlled and developed by hardcore virtue signallers. And you wonder why you consider FTX as your hero.
Not working
truth now! on 2022-11-28
Update ** clearly you don’t care much, your response to this was to email again!!?? I have twice with nothing! This is why I am putting this on this review..** The app stopped working, don’t know if it deleted my profile but I can no longer log in. I purchase a premium membership that I haven’t even been able to use. Submitted my issue to support and I have had not resolution, not even an appropriate response. I would like my refund as I can’t use the app and you won’t get back to me.
Useless app
Coltor99 on 2022-11-28
Revolves around spending money to see who likes your profile they purposely hide my matches from me and it takes way to long to get few swipes.. not a good app tinder is much better aside from broke geolocation. Bumble are absolute haters to and remove anything that has a touch of skin in it. I workout everyday and take a lot of pride in my physique but bumble would rather me not put out the biggest aspect of my life.
