Whether you’re connecting with your community for an upcoming activity or working with teammates on a project, Microsoft Teams helps bring people together so that they can get things done. It’s the only app that has communities, events, chats, channels, meetings, storage, tasks, and calendars in one place—so you can easily connect and manage access to information. Get your community, family, friends, or workmates together to accomplish tasks, share ideas, and make plans. Join audio and video calls in a secure setting, collaborate in documents, and store files and photos with built-in cloud storage. You can do it all in Microsoft Teams. Easily connect with anyone: • Meet securely with communities, teammates, family, or friends. • Set up a meeting within seconds and invite anyone by sharing a link or calendar invite. • Chat 1-1 or to your entire community, @mention people in chats to get their attention. • Create a dedicated community to discuss specific topics and make plans*. • Work closely and collaborate by keeping conversations organized by specific topics and projects with teams and channels. • Video or audio call anyone directly in Teams or instantly convert a group chat to a call. • Use GIFs, emojis, and message animations to express yourself when words aren’t enough. Accomplish plans and projects together: • Send photos and videos in chats to quickly and easily share important moments. • Use cloud storage to access shared documents and files on the go. • Organize shared content in a community — events, photos, links, files —so you don’t have to waste time searching*. • Get the most out of your meetings by using screen share, whiteboard, or breakout in virtual rooms. • Manage access to information and ensure the right people have access to the right info, even when people join and leave projects. • Use task lists to stay on top of projects and plans - assign tasks, set due dates, and cross off items to keep everyone on the same page. Designed to give you peace of mind: • Securely collaborate with others while maintaining control over your data. • Keep communities safe by allowing owners to remove inappropriate content or members*. • Enterprise-level security and compliance you expect from Microsoft 365**. *Available when using Microsoft Teams with your Microsoft account. **Commercial features of this app require a paid Microsoft 365 commercial subscription or a trial subscription of Microsoft Teams for work. Logging out of my account (somehow) as I follow a link on teams
ImpMaster74 on 2023-01-30
This is a reoccurring issue that never seems to have been fixed on the Teams mobile app. Whenever I click on an assignment in teams that leads to One Note, I will be told immediately upon arriving at the app that I am working offline and that I need to log in in order to sync my notes. This is not true, since I have always remained logged into my One Note account and I never use another. Anyways, when I try to log back in again, the app tells me that my account is already logged in on *another* device. Which device?! Not a single data/privacy breach has happened to me at all, which makes it frustrating to realize that the Teams app (somehow) logs me out of my One Note account, while simultaneously telling me that I’m already logged in on another device that doesn’t exist. I can log back in again after deleting my One Note app without a problem, but simply using the Teams app has caused me to (somehow) log out of Microsoft’s other apps when following a link to those apps. Pleaaase fix this as soon as possible!
Great except for issue with AirPod Pro 2’s
xadur on 2023-01-30
Connectivity issue with AirPod pro 2’s. Lags, slow to connect, drops or won’t connect. Eventually after multiple tries of either closing reopening teams, or putting AirPod pro 2’s in and out of case I can get them to work with teams. Have gen 1 AirPod pro’s no issue. No issue with pro 2’s on any other software, just Teams. I see posts out on boards going back to October of 2022 with no resolution mentioned, everyone is mentioning that their AirPod pro 2’s are fine with other software, just a Teams issue.
suspicious permissions
.,...,.,.,..,.,.,.,.,. on 2023-01-30
requires "local network" permission which should not be required to call people who are in other networks (would be reasonable if it was to call someone on my own network) (also, the prompt is (intentionally?) misleading: "turn on local network to give teams network access" just after displaying video for 3 seconds (proving that it never actually needs the permission)) this permission gives the app access to enumerate everything on your network which is a huge privacy invasion
So sloppily designed
BabyVanDriver on 2023-01-30
Teams is one of the worst apps for company messaging I have ever used. The app will flip from landscape to portrait for no reason, they introduce thing s that make no sense (why am I getting a delegate notification for someone’s reaction in a chat I’m actually in?!?), and the camera will switch from being on by default to always being off by default when accepting a call. So frustrating. Do better please.
The latest version 4.23.1 crushed every time I press chats
vitalyvm on 2023-01-30
The latest version 4.23.1 crushes every time I press chats. Completely unstable version which needs to be urgently updated. The question is whether the developer team involved in this version update even tested the app before the release. Was happy with their previous update but the latest version turned this good app into garbage. Zero stars and waiting for the next version that fixes this huge issue.
Decent but one issue
xIANCx on 2023-01-30
I have noticed, at least with this most recent app update, that the icons for video/mute/audio/end do not line up correctly all the time when switching between portrait and landscape views. Portrait is when the icons don't rotate and line up horizontally along the bottom of the screen they are in a vertical line in the middle at the bottom. iPhone 13, iOS 16.2, app is up to date.
Keeps getting worse
bamcat on 2023-01-30
This used to work fine but now it’s almost unusable for me. I see notifications that I have messages to read but they don’t show up in the app for minutes after. The app is also unresponsive most of the time (trying to switch between Activity and Chat, etc. just does nothing).
Kaelahann on 2023-01-30
As someone who is used to slack, it would be a massive improvement to create group channels with only 2 people. It is a really great way to keep specific projects and goals on track in separate chat channels.
Freezes continuously
baystreetguy on 2023-01-30
Don’t know what’s going on. But had issues installing, creating a meeting, and also freezes at the Sync contacts section. I deleted and installed twice and it did the same thing. Unacceptable and usual MS!!
Fix the video player.
AbyssGaming on 2023-01-30
The video player is a pain, on mobile. If you slide your finger at all, it'll close. Please help make mind-numbing videos less painful by at least letting us watch the damn thing.
