App Version: 2023.11.0
why?how? on 2023-03-27
I used to be able to swipe left/right to go to the next photo/video post on the home page. Why did you remove the swipe feature? Just so that you are aware, it's extremely frustrating that you keep removing the features that made the app more user friendly. Now instead of going from one photo/video post to the next multimedia post, I have to swipe to exit the full screen mode of the photo/video, scroll to the next post, tap it for full screen and repeat the process. That's 3 steps. Where as earlier, all I had to do was swipe towards left. 1 simple step. Do you even want us to use the app? Stop fixing what's not broken.
New UI sucks
Kesler0729 on 2023-03-27
The more card like format for when you’re viewing subreddits, with the big title one at the top. The new “share to” menu, it all just looks bad, and more of a hassle than the previous iterations of the same features. Reddit’s baseline is still a very solid app on the whole, but every few weeks it’s like they’re obligated to make one minor change that worsens it slightly. Not a big deal individually, but the entire experience gets worse and worse each time.
Needless custom share sheet
Cole T. on 2023-03-27
App is overall pretty great, would be 5 stars, but for some reason the developers have decided to override the iOS share sheet functionality in a recent update. Now it takes an extra click to share anything because you get their useless share sheet, and then have to press share again to get the iOS one. I don’t understand why developers do this. The iOS share sheet is excellent and globally customizable for my needs, I ALWAYS want to use it.
Watch out folks

This is quite possibly one of the most toxic apps I’ve been on. You’ll get reported for absolutely no reason. If you have a different opinion than someone else, they’ll take it to offence and start attacking you. Don’t think you can have your own opinion on here..because you can’t. Also this app should change its name to “the bullying app” since people freely bully others on here. Talk about toxic. Glad I removed this from my phone.
why does it keep doing this
[email protected] on 2023-03-27
it keeps permanently banning every account i make for no reason. i lost 2 main accounts because it permanently banned them without warning for "harassment" but doesnt show me what i did. i try to be as nice as possible on the app so i dont see how i harassed anyone. it doesnt even give me a warning or temporary ban either, it just strikes me with a permanent ban, says i harassed people, and doesnt show me how, when, or who.
Constant server failure
جبرائيل on 2023-03-27
I love Reddit overall and the communities it's fostered, but the servers constantly fail randomly which prevents me from interacting with posts I'd like to. I've had this issue suddenly arise on the same wifi network and it's been an issue too on other networks including my phone data, so it doesn't seem to be an issue with wifi connection. If this bug could be fixed, that would be super helpful TIA!!
Worlds most pathetic user base
user73637392927352839 on 2023-03-27
This is an app for the ultra brainwashed delusional liberal left to spew hatred in their echo chamber "sub reddits " filled with everything from subreddits dedicated to pedophiles to extreme racism and hate threads to banning anyone who dis agrees with their ultra ultradox far left propaganda . If everyone who uses reddit died today , the world would be a FAR better place
App redirects to other posts
Pp12abvc on 2023-03-27
This started recently but whenever you click on a post, it will redirect you to a different post and then the post you wanted. There were up to 4 redirects before it landed on the right post. There was also a terrible update recently where you have to click to go to the next image and it’s sooooo finicky and you can’t read the captions. Terrible terrible UI.
Pretty good.
Phantom_Phoenix on 2023-03-27
On average the app is pretty good, but I seriously question the need to add another step to sharing to an app that isn’t chat or email. Sharing to another app used to be on the same screen, and worked just fine. I do not see at all how this is an improvement. I share a lot of Reddit links and don’t need this. Might have to check out the other Reddit apps.
Censorship
llamaboi42 on 2023-03-27
This app used to be great fun, now everyone gets permanently banned for no discernible reason because someone at Reddit HQ is having a power trip and abusing their station. End the excessive censorship and stop banning people for ridiculous reasons, and without any justification whatsoever, and I’ll improve this rating
