Terrible customer service you can’t contact directly
Critic-Cal on 2020-09-26
While they have a good selection of products that are often ridiculously inexpensive, the rest of their business model leaves a lot to be desired. Prices - don’t be fooled by the low prices on some products, chances are the shipping will cost at least as much as the product itself if not more. Shipping - often estimated delivery dates to Canada are two months in the future. They also may be updated at any time with no notice. I am still waiting for some items I ordered in April. Don’t order anything you want by a specific date. Shipping can also be very expensive relative to the cost and even the size and weight of the item. App - the search feature sucks. It returns some items that are relevant to your search plus a bunch of random items that aren’t even close to what you were looking for in the first place. The sales that they advertise in the notifications section will appear to be on a specific product category yet if you tap one of them you will be taken to a long browse menu of items that may or may not be related to the advertisement you tapped on. Plus the items featured in the advertisement are never to be found. Prime example tonight... I tapped on the notification for a Big Screen Smart TV claiming that you can buy such a TV for $96. I scrolled for ten minutes and only saw a single TV that I would call “big screen” and it was 43” for $803. The two or three other TVs I saw were less than 40” and over $1000. What a crock. Shipping - Quality - as you might expect when stuff costs so little, the quality can be quite poor. I purchased a set of screw extractors and the first time I tried to use it, the extractor proved to be made of a softer metal than the screw I was trying to extract and within seconds the teeth had all worn off of the extractor rendering it completely useless. I threw it and the rest of the set of 6 extractors in the garbage. Sometimes the quality is decent but usually you get what you paid for and sometimes you don’t even get that. Customer service - consists of the Wish Assistant, an automated assistant with an extremely limited number of options. Rarely have the options presented been even close to what I wanted and there’s no option to manually browse help topics or search for a specific topic. There is no ability to contact support directly and if you do manage to get to a point where the assistant lets you contact them, you likely will not get a response. The issue may be resolved but the only way you’ll know is to go into the app and check if your order has changed or been refunded.

A Bang For Your Buck vs Shipping Time
joangal on 2020-09-26
I have bought quite a few of items on here the past few months and I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items. So far most the items I’ve ordered I have been satisfied with them, even the one that arrived and had missing parts, which the vendor right away refunded the cost of the item plus the shipping (although I would have rather gotten the missing parts or return the item for a complete set). Still getting my money back after putting in a claim within 3 days, I really can’t complain. Like I said the quality is good and the items have lasted so far. The prices are much lower but be aware of the shipping fee because it adds up to the total cost of your item. If you’re looking to get your item right away Wish partnered up with some local retailers (in my City of Vancouver and the mainland) the items I bought can be picked up or be delivered as fast as Amazon, but keep in mind it’s only for certain items and limited selections. If you don’t mind the wait to receive your items then this is perfect, you can track your shipment since Wish will notify you every step of the way and there’s an app Aftership that also tracks all your shipments not just from Wish but other companies you’re expecting to receive items from making it easier to see the expected time of arrival of your purchased items that have been shipped. Wish also gives you freebies and all you have to pay is shipping, like buying from a dollar store and accumulated points you get for shopping equals to Wish money that can be used towards shipping cost, buy an item or to pay towards total cost of your purchased order Shopping made easy and getting a bang for your buck, I really can complain and I would recommend this shopping site to anyone I know. Thank you Wish!
Wish for the most part is pretty good.

The only thing really upsets me about wish is that they send the wrong size ALL THE TIME and I follow their size charts. The worst is-sheets I’ve ordered 2 sets bohemian 2 sets of-3 one duvet cover and 2 pillow shams 2 sets of sheets I fitted and I flat which I’ve not received. But I have received 4 sets of 3 item sets again! Which is 2 bohemian pattern shams & 1 duvet & 2 sets of Egyptian pattern duvet covers and total 4 pillow shams. This is very frustrating. Not only is the entire order wrong but the sizes were all wrong too. I could’ve lived with all the screw ups but not to receive my sheets. But then they likely wouldn’t fit on my bed anyway because queen size is so complicated after all anyway right. Also I wish they would would put the order sheets in each bag of product u receive I know a piece of paper might make the shipping costs go up another buck but hey what the heck we already pay twice the amount for shipping than we do for the actual products so no sometimes wish is not the best but they’re not the worst yet either.

Big time rip off app. I ordered in May and every time they are charging delivery dates. Very very disappointed. And $1. Items are gimmicks. You will never get $1. Items. Customer support are not really helpful they already setup questions and answer for you. No option to explain your issues. As far as money they takes money from your card soon as you order but as far as delivering your items not keeping commitments. My items supposed to be deliver on July 30. And now new date delivery date is Sept,1st. Totally insane. Quality of the items are not the same as shown. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Not recommended. I don’t know why I ordered so may items which are not deliver yet. WISH IS BIG TIME SCAM. Note#2. Unfortunately im deleting this Wish app. Very disappointed lower grade items are sale here specially jewelry. In the photos its shows totally real version but in reality its lower than third class which not even worth 5c. I willnever recommend anyoneto order any of the items from this app.
The worst customer service award goes to Wish.

I ordered back in beginning of June. Order was not processed until middle of June. One arrival date was set then new Covid rules or should I say a new arrival date came into play because of Covid. Then as the new (2nd) arrival date it was switch to a much further arrival date. My combined package has been sitting at the warehouse since mid June and has yet to move. It has zero plan on moving. I have complained several times. 2 out of 4 packages were refunded but with remaining two Wish is refusing to refund and will only send out a prescripted email stating that the package is set to arrive oct 7... let’s face it.... Wish will take your money but will keep pushing you off until the next shipping date and then push that date back as well. NEVER buy from unfulfilling wish. Received a response... this will be the 13th time I’ve emailed and get a different person who wants me to repeat the same thing... now 14 times.... still NOTHING

Back in the beginning of June I ordered a laptop and a bunch of accessories for it. The items got pushed back a month, then another month, and then all the way to October. Last week my laptop came in. It was an empty shipping envelope the size of a small cd. When I contacted customer service they made me a take a bunch of photos and then ticket was marked finished and they gave me the money. When I told them it wasn’t finished and I’d like an explanation on where the laptop I waited 3 months for, no one gave me anything but an automated response. I kept asking so eventually they banned me from creating tickets. Go to hell wish. Also I ordered a tvbox that was on sale, the item processed for 3 months. It was an $80 tv box that a certain amount of people only paid shipping. They wouldn’t replace the said tvbox or an item of equal value. They offered me $4 junk nicknacks

When I got the app and created an account it offered me a free gift (pair of socks). Nowhere did it show me a price or shipping costs and sure enough I received a charge and f more than what I would even pay for the free gift locally and it ships from China which is something I am also never ok with. Horrible, deceitful and customer service is all automated responses that never actually acknowledge what happened and is intended for you to flush the money down the toilet because it’s not enough cash to be worth your time. Two emails from customer service and I decided to cut my losses and delete the app and deactivated my account. The least I can do is try and save others from falling prey to dirty foreign business practices.
Not good
I Regret to buy here on 2020-09-26
Don't buy any electric item here, they sent a au plug instead of us plug I ordered , I can't use it at all. And the customer support said they will contact with the store and follow-up with me in 48hrs, but they didn't ,there's no any common in 5days, and after 5 days they suddenly thanks me to return it and said their return center haven't get it. Of course ,I don't even know that , after that I asked them why and how, the support on APP is just keep quiet, and the support on e-mail just let me contact with the support on APP. So you better be more careful when you try to buy anything that you might need their help
Can’t see Order History since last update.

I used to be able to check the status of my orders by clicking Order History, but now I just get a blank screen with the back arrow. Please fix. Otherwise, why have the iOS app. FYI: It still works if accessed through a browser. I have uninstalled the Wish App, then reinstalled it, as mentioned in an email from ContextLogic Inc. I still get the blank screen in Order History. email from ContextLogic Inc.: " We're sorry to hear about the issue with your app. Please try to uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This should help with any issues you have experienced. We hope this helps. "
