I’ve been using this sleep app for a few years now, I just realised. The app provides so much information for every single night (& naps too) that it’s become integrated into my whole way of understanding my lifestyle and health. Let me explain. This app offers graphic descriptions in chart, wheel, statistical and graph forms. I naturally gravitate toward specific info everyday, but sooner or later I look at all of it. As I compare and contrast the nights of sleep, I naturally ponder what made the difference in quality of sleep. Experimenting with how late I ate before sleep, one example, I discover the latest time I can eat without negativity impacting my ability to fall to sleep effortlessly. Oh and speaking of falling to sleep effortlessly, that was an impossible feat when I first started using this app! Now I’ve come to know the joy of sufficient energy to get things accomplished in a day... because of a good night’s sleep. Wow. That, my friends, is like reclaiming my life. Long story short - use this app if you really want to get to the bottom of your sleep issues, like insomnia and interrupted sleep.

I was previously using another app that will remain nameless.All I will say is it was very expensive for the date it was providing. So far this application has given good feedback with extremely user-friendly interface. Price was very reasonable.I certainly feel I’m getting value for money and there is no expiry date on this app.That puts you under pressure to pay again to keep your data and continue with the benefits that a good sleep tracker can give you. On the morning when I wake up and feel as if I’ve had no sleep at all it’s very reassuring to be able to look at my watch and confirm this.This app is helping me get into a better rhythm of sleep I feel much refreshed through the day and more able to face the challenges of modern life. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Not accurate

Been using AutoSleep for a couple of months and tried to give it the benefit of doubt. But it simply isn’t accurate. Apparently the device can tell you have gone to bed, yet most nights it gets this wrong sometimes by a couple of hours. Following an email exchange with the developer I left the ‘lights out’ option set to 9pm being a couple of hours before I usually go to bed so that it would catch the occasional early night. Last night I was in bed for 10pm yet the app told me I’d gone straight to sleep in 0 minutes at twenty past midnight. Nothing before then was recorded. What’s the point really? The graphs are very pretty but if the underlying data is wrong they’re useless. Looking forward to see if the built-in sleep app in iOS 14 is any better.
Life changing

Heartily recommend this app. It has made a genuinely positive difference to my well-being. Firstly this app is hugely better than the rudimentary sleep tracking the new watch os has. In a totally different league. Secondly. Wow. Absolutely fascinating data which has me paying attention to my sleep for the first time in my life and I do feel way better for it. I even stopped drinking alcohol to see what effect it had on my sleep and because it had a really positive effect (particularly on sleeping heart rate) I have stopped drinking almost entirely. This is quite something for a former booze hound like me!
Great support, but beware IOS Bugs

Despite the claims that this works ‘beautifully’ with IOS14 its barely worked at all after upgrading watch and iOS. It failed to read any data from my Apple watch overnight so claimed I’d only had a couple of minutes sleep. I contacted support with the symptoms and got an almost instant reply with how to fix the problem ( you have to re-pair the watch as a brand new watch, you can’t even use a backup). Everything is working again now. So 5 stars for the app. And as this is a bug outside their control 5 stars for the support response too!
How to benefit most by this app

You alone know how was your sleep the night before. I had this app on my phone and it worked perfectly until I updated my operating system then the readings were not correctly recorded. In my upset I had to read the text in the setting of the app and it directed me to how to adjust it. Now it works perfectly. This app is truly remarkable and I recommend it to everyone especially if you are over 60 and have tendencies to wake up often at night. Thanks

I have used this app for at least 3 years I don’t normally review but it is very good with constant improvement as well as reliability.Definitely recommended Update I’ve looked at other reviews and can honestly say I’ve no issues work for me HRV is same as in Health Update just to say unlike other reviewers the app is working with Watch 7 and iOS 14.As I’ve said previously consistent over the years

I’ve been using this app for a long time. Up until recently it was accurately recording my sleep. Something seems to have gone wrong over the past few weeks, the app now greatly under-reports how much sleep I’m getting, for example only reporting about 2 hours sleep when I’ve had a good nights’ sleep. The app is currently useless for me - hope the developer can solve this problem. Thanks

I loved this app for the past 4 months I’ve been using it. It recorded my sleeping very accurately. However, just in the past few days it has been registering my sleeping pattern all wrong saying I have slept for as little as 1 hour when I slept for 8. I think this will most likely be due to ios14 but still annoying that it’s no longer working.

After 3 nights, 2 nights have not been ideal. Firstly it did not auto record when I went to sleep so the next night I used lights out. Apparently I went to sleep immediately- I listened to a book for 30 mins and struggled to get to sleep. I also had a great nights sleep when actually I had a rotten very disturbed night. So far not so good.
