Poor support for 3rd party apps
JustLikeJack9 on 2023-02-09
I subscribed to Google One because my photo storage was full but I wanted to use Drive to store my artwork for use between Windows, Mac and iPad. Only trouble is that the drive app doesn’t work fully on iPad and won’t allow me to open my files created in Affinity Designer, Photo or Publisher. OneDrive and Dropbox work perfectly, but not Drive. Weird and disappointing.
Can’t download eBook to iOS
timefishsalmon on 2023-02-09
Normally very positive about Drive. I’ve used it since launch and pay for extra storage but I can’t seem to download eBook I bought to iOS. It’s got DRM on it even though I specifically tried to buy it without so I’m trying to get it into Kindle. Drive can’t read it :(
Terrible App
LewCain on 2023-02-09
I love google drive but the app is shocking. It does nothing but constantly crash and cause my phone to be really slow. Always have to close the app down and re-open while looking through images and saving them. Please get this sorted, it shouldn’t be so difficult!
Terrible app

The most un-user friendly app ever. No way of saving multiple image files to photo library!! And why do I have to give a nickname to write a review!!!???

I love the fact that I can access all my files anywhere in the world. Love the new feature that reminds me to open often used documents.
Well engineered.

Everything works multiple ways so your intuition gets you through it without complicated manuals. Just brilliant and indispensable.
Draining battery with background activity
Gerhk on 2023-02-09
Used 20h background activity and drain my phone battery. It happened whenever my phone is connected to Wi-Fi

well organised and easy access to documents. No fuss searching, just find what you saved in an instant.
It doesn’t give you the option to delete files from drive

I am trying to delete some of the files that I don’t need but it doesn’t give you the option to delete.
