*setting the scene up*
You’re on your phone and a really nice song comes up next on your playlist with the help of shuffle.
Immediately you would like to put the song at the top of your playlist so everyone feel the good vibes you felt at that moment.
So you hit edit on your phone app and start scrolling to find the song then you suddenly realise there’s no way to identify the current playing song in the edit feature on the phone app so you exit the edit feature and scroll down the list and find the only green text song.
Now it’s a game of how good your memory is to locate where the song is within your playlist when you going back to the edit feature.
Please make my life easier to locate current playing songs on the edit feature
p.s. - some art work would be nice there and might help too :)
I’ve had this app for years now! It’s always reliable, and it’s sound quality is amazing
Even though I have to use my mobile data to listen to music because I don’t have premium it’s worth it. It also gives you the option to create as many playlists as you want and even gives you a small description about each artist. Also it also creates playlists for you e.g all of your likes songs, the songs you have been listening to the most and the ones you listened to the most last year.
It’s amazing I would 100% recommended downloading it!!
Good that it integrates with the laptop app so that you can change which device controls the playing.
Recently my iPhone app refuses to play tracks - I then have to “like” it and it instantly plays.
I’d use Spotify much more at night if it had an integrated sleep function, like BBC Sounds and Audible. The often suggested fix of using the “stop playing” feature in the iPhone timer isn’t suitable as the timer then fails to play a sound when you next use it for normal timing - have been caught out several times by that.
It’s a great app and streaming service and I use it pretty much daily, the only thing I dislike is that it can be hard to organise your playlists, I have a lot of them, and also that there’s a cap limit on how much music you can have downloaded. If your paying for premium,(which you need to be in order to download music) then the only cap on how much you can download, should be the amount of memory on your device. That’s all that’s wrong with it though to me at least. It’s a good streaming service.
This is the only music app I use and I love how you can send people gift cards so they can try premium as it is the best option!
But I’d love to be able to change playlists thumbnails on my phone and not just on a computer.
it would also be great for people without premium to be able to have unlimited skips? as you already have the ads and the inability to click a direct song or download offline so that little bit of unlimited skips would be great just a thought otherwise it’s great!
I wish they’d stop periodically getting rid of the a-z side bar that you can use to jump to albums/artists. I get that it looks cleaner without to but it’s so much easier to use than the slider. And my artist selection just looks like a random smattering of liked artists and who knows what. I swear they just change things because they’re bored and think they’re improving the app, the term if it ain’t broke don’t fix it springs to mind. Rant over.
While I am at home listening to the music, doing housework or relaxing. I am currently revisiting old favourites such as Motown, Carly Simon and Carol King. The music library is so so big and spoilt for choice of listening to different and trying different types of music for free. I am lost for words and sport for choice of loads of different styles of music. Give the Podcast a go! Keep up the good work. With a big thumbs up. With thanks D77
ive experienced all the issues u typically get on mobile, especially the app crashing during a song and having to reboot the app and play the song from scratch again- and now the app wont even open. ive uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as restarting my phone, and nothing has changed. i try and start the app, get the lil logo loading screen and then it crashes and im back to my clapped homepage. not very sexy of u ://
I’ve subscribed to google play & YouTube music but by far Spotify is the best music app by far. They have a lot more music and groups and artists I’ve never heard of who have release some fantastic music. For example I’ve never heard of the groups New Hope Club and Why Don’t We. Thanks to @itswillmanning public playlist I’m loving every song I’ve listened to so far. We never leave Spotify again.
Love the app but something needs to be done about the constant removal of songs, I appreciate it’s not Spotify themselves doing this but out of 2,000 songs in my library, I have serious favourites which keep being removed! This seriously affects my enjoyment of the app and renders it useless as my favourites are no longer there.
