My review....
SinisterPlayer on 2020-02-27
Overall, the app is somewhat decent. However, I personally think a decent amount of stuff should be added. For example, why can’t I set my own timer on my anthem? It’s disappointing hearing a build up, only for it to end. Small thing which doesn’t take effort to do ‍♂️ On top of that, why can’t I just look for 18-18. I shouldn’t have to place it onto 18-22. I’m 18, so I wanna look for someone the same age as me. I shouldn’t be getting showed peeps older than 18... basic common sense. What’s with the immense high prices for premium? This doesn’t necessarily give me anything more than not having premium, so what’s with the stupid prices? I personally think you should add filters. I.e taste in music, are you an outgoing person, are you a vegetarian, can you cook, personal taste for holiday etc etc. I’d rather know small stuff about someone before I like them for their looks, only to find out their personality is not something I can roll with. One last thing; do something about people who match and never talk.
Worst customer service

Tinder in itself is a good app with a nice concept of meeting people around you that you wouldn’t normally speak to. However, after using the app for a couple of days I experienced glitches, only to discover the next day my account has been banned. I never went against the terms of use or community guidelines, and when I emailed about it asking for evidence I was just told they couldn’t go into detail as to why I was banned. And it’s evident I’m not the only one who has experienced this. Furthermore once your account is banned for NO REASON you cannot appeal it, receive any information about it or make a tinder account with your number again. Tinder needs to sort out this issue by either investigating reports PROPERLY or by giving the banned person a clear reason why this has happened instead of sending an automated email in response. Not helpful at all.
Needs more maintenance

The concept is good. When it works is works well. Clearly take up isn’t great and living in a relatively sparse location I'm aware of just how many fake accounts or those purely pushing their Insta profiles there are. That’s an issue which the developers should address as its putting a lot of genuine folk off using it. My main gripe however is just how unstable the app is. Most especially the messaging. While I’m sure there are major hacking issues to deal with there’s really no excuse for messages not appearing in established threads without restarting. Is this a deliberate policy to force messaging off their own servers? Currently looking at two message notifications which I can’t read as the page has completely frozen, not just one conversation. Try harder, Bumble works better even if the lady peeps don’t understand its concept.
Reporting System and Process.
TinderUser66666 on 2020-02-27
Many reviews have mentioned this, and I’m pleased I am not the only one. My account was unfairly reported, despite adherence to the T&C’s and paying extra for Tinder Gold. Have used the same photos and information and not had a problem until now. I had several matches I was conversing with and also had spent money for the upgraded version of the app, which will now not be refunded. I can not create another Tinder profile unless I use a different Phone Number or Facebook account due to both being linked. No reporting system, warning or valid reasoning for the ban. No reply to emails sent or a automated response. Absolutely absurd, and no justification as to why from Tinder nor a proper way to appeal this. An app that is going downhill rapidly, and losing customers to its competitors.
Manipulative
disapointment nr223 on 2020-02-27
When you first get the app it runs as it should, you get frequent matches and it has a predictable nature. Then later it starts to limit your experience. I bought a month of tinder gold because it was 50% off, (i live in london bare in mind) and i could see everyone that liked me in advance ect... when i was around a week away from my subscription renewing; i cancelled it. And suddenly all of the likes have stopped coming, went from 20 a day to barely 1. As soon as it fully expired (literally on a minute margin) the likes shot up to 99+, i could no longer view them and it was asking me to get tinder gold again. Ive been continuing using the free version and ive yet to match with anyone, not to mention any of those 99+ who have already clicked like... what a disappointment.
Subscription- renewal notification needed!!
fedup84 on 2020-02-27
Just got billed £104.99 for a renewal that I didn’t want! I started on tinder 6 months ago and it’s been ok, nothing special. Fully intended on cancelling before the next 6 months started, forgot when it was due to renew and expected some sort of reminder that my membership was due to expire so I’d cancel it then. Yes, of course u can say it’s my problem and I should of remembered when it was due to expire, but surely some sort of notification prior to renewal would be fair and appropriate? As a result I’ve just spent money on something I didn’t want and when I clicked on the ‘get a refund or cancel your purchase within 14 days’ button, I’m told I don’t qualify for a refund as it’s a subscription! Really misleading and unfair.
Stupid
yepokayalright on 2020-02-27
Was on this app for about an hour and then my account got banned for no reason whatsoever. Matched about 3 people and didnt have ONE conversation with any of them. All of my pictures were appropriate. If you’re willing to ban people so quickly for absolutely no reason, at least let people appeal the ban or make them aware of what they are being banned for. I believe i was banned because of a jealous ex reporting me, which if this is the case it is a stupid reason to be banned for and must happen to many others. Sort the banning/appeal situation out, it isnt fair.
Recurring Billing
fgffhhhgft on 2020-02-27
Here’s a tip for you Tinder. If you didn’t insist on recurring billing I would have subscribed. I don’t because I don’t trust your service and have had bad experiences when trying to cancel apps with recurring payments in the past. If you offered guaranteed one time payments for a month or three months or whatever you might get some more business. Offer recurring billing but as an option. Or even a simple opt out. Tick a box to say that I definitely do not want recurring payments.
Banned for no reason
Einsteine1 on 2020-02-27
I had my tinder account open for two days and I was immediately banned and no reason was given. I only uploaded pictures where I was in it. No other people. Also I didn’t write anything more then “Hi, how are you?” Don’t really know why this is offensive to people or why tinder thinks any of this is worth banning. But I guess they just don’t care. I really want to see that made up rules where you are not allowed to say hi or posts photos of yourself to receive a ban.
Obvious algorithms, not accounts and insta sl*ts advert brochure
jamesyorkshire on 2020-02-27
Move to bumble or hitch.. The algorithm on this app is so obvious. First day of membership and use boost.. 18 matches.. then 30 days of paid up gold service, nothing but a trickle here and there. First day without membership.. 27 people like you, upgrade and give us your money now to see!! We aren’t blind nor stupid! The insta thots that don’t talk on here much... everywhere. Save your money, use the free version for sure, but don’t throw your money down the drain.
