Shame I have to give even 1 star!

Several times now, we have ordered from local convenience stores and had missing/incomplete/incorrect items in our order. On many occasions we let it slide, simply because we couldn’t be bothered to go through the hassle over a few quid. However, now this has significantly added up and so I decide to report the latest two incorrect items to Uber. I got essentially half of what I’d paid for. They replied stating that there is nothing they can do and that they are aware that this is not the outcome I was hoping for! What kind of incompetent and inconsiderate fools deal with customers in this way?! That’s basically saying that they’re aware of a store on their platform ripping us off but they can’t be bothered to do anything about it and so we’ll just have to put up with getting half of what we paid for. They have no standards and are completely clueless as to how to deal with customers and bear in mind, my family and I have been loyal customers for years now! THIS is how they treat you when things go wrong. I should also mention that when I called the convenience store directly, they confirmed the name and address stated on Uber, but denied having any association with Uber delivery services. Either they’re bullshitting or Uber are working with fakes who are using the details of someone else’s store. Deliveroo’s service, on the other hand, actually cares about customer satisfaction and will go over and above to assist you if you have an issue (which rarely ever happens, as they, unlike these jokes, actually know what it means to provide a professional service and they clearly have standards that must be met by the stores/restaurants they work with and rules that they must adhere to. Uber need to take lessons from them in customer service). Makes me wonder how much they’ve made from just ripping people off over the years.
Policies to profit from customers loss

After years of loyal service to uber taxis, i recently tried uber eats after it finally arrived in my area. First try had limited restaurants so tried one i have never ordered from before. Food arrived a little cold but also with items missing. Raised issue with uber eats who instead of arranging replacement, just refunded it. Fine i guess. Then today, tried again, this time with KFC. Should have been no issues. Had two bucket meals with sides. Sadly only arrived with one set of sides. Tried uber app but only would allow me to report it and wait upto 24hr for reply. Tried the store direct but they could t send out as needs uber driver arranged. Got reply from uber an hour after finishing food only to be told that due to ‘certain policies’ they have, that is unlikely issues like this would happen so frequently (in this case two times out of two orders) so they would not be able to help me at all. In essence calling a loyal customer a lier and protecting kfc who know they did wrong but couldnt sort an uber driver for me. Wont be using uber eats anymore as a result for branding me a lier over the sake of literally a few pounds out of a £32 order. Pathetic service.
unfair, no solution, hostility

Don’t bother with UberEats, they will NEVER refund you and costumer service is BAD, SLOW, UNFAIR. The system they have for customers, are not good as they steal your money (aka not giving refunds). Especially, on unfair situations. I’ve ordered many times with uber eats and I loved it. NOT until my food was undelivered by a lazy courier, who could not be bothered to go to door (I was ill, symptoms of covid), and he stubbornly waited at the carpark, which is on the other side and i told him directions to help him, but still refused to go where my address is. Anyways, The app to use for help is useless, Uber eats REFUSED TO REFUND ME even though i’ve explained myself on facebook messengers (both on uber and ubereats) and called too still no solution. Even reported my issue 3 times, and all i get is an automated answer. I want to take this to the court, as I have been given an unused service by UBEREATS, and a refund that should have been given back as the food is never been delivered, and I wasn’t in fault as the driver was too lazy to follow my easy instructions.
Worst app ever DELETE IT IF YOU CAN
just give me back my money!!! on 2020-08-10
How many times has the this app fudged up the address with their sorry excuse of a gps system, I can’t even count. Drivers don’t pick up the phone and are unhelpful, even going so far as to throw away the receipts when they realised they messed up so we essentially can’t report them or reclaim our money from the crappy and robotic customer service that only reads from a script, that this crappy app provides. The delivery fees are ridiculous for the level of support received, the food is usually cold or wrong, the drivers are rude and unhelpful, the customer service is incompetent, and the whole thing is trying to stay afloat by the occasional discount promo code because they know nobody would use them otherwise. WHY DOES THIS APP STILL EXIST??? I SENT YOU DOZENS OF COMPLAINTS TO CLAIM A REFUND FOR FOOD THAT NEVER ARRIVED AND YOU BLATANTLY IGNORE IT. THEN YOU REPLY 3 DAYS LATER SAYING ITS PASSED 24 HOURS AND ISN’T VALID? ARE YOU JOKING?
Just so far behind the competition

So here I am, something has gone wrong. No worries I try to contact the restaurant - I can’t, they appear to have shut. I can see Uber Eats has attempted to send person after person to collect my order - probably about 12 drivers so far! What a waste of everyone’s time. The App makes it impossible to contact Uber Eats whole the order is in this state - the App even hides the supposed Live Chat / Message function. I finally attempt to call them but the automated voice almost mockingly asks me to click on ‘Help’ in the app - an exercise in futility as I had already learnt. They kept me on hold for 10, sent a bunch more riders to try pick up the order and I eventually gave up trying to stop this waste of time because so much of my time had been wasted too. Go to Just Eat, Deliveroo or anything else but this billion dollar failure.
Customer service

They are terrible do not listen and get the support wrong every time hard to get through to customer service and when they reply you don’t get to discuss anything they just do what they want completely unsatisfied that why I stoped is Using them in the first place I am reporting them to trading standards for there neglect to the customer and lack of want to understand or cooperate with the customer they where supposed to refund me for food worth like £15 but instead refunded me £2.75 and I tried to explain they just kept saying we have dealt with this matter already my drink was damaged and soaked all my food Uber is a terrible service and I understand why I don’t take cabs with them either anymore far better services out there

Ordered from the German Kebab shop thru Uber Eats. I scheduled the delivery for between 20.30 and 21.15. At around 20.40 I got an email asking me to call the driver MOHAMMED FAROOQ, which I did. He said he was on Hollins Road which is a mile and half away from me. He said his sat nav is going funny. I gave him my postcode again and thought it would soon be here. A minute later I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. When I questioned it with Uber Eats the driver said he had been sat outside my house for 33 minutes. Which is a complete lie. They have taken my money, no food and blocked my number. Beware using Uber Eats people. They are full of lies and racist towards white people.
Avoid at all costs

Honestly the worst food delivery app out the bunch. Consistently had cold food, where UberEats customer service is as useless as a chocolate teapot. Didn’t resend the food despite us stating the issue on arrival, and they offered a 3% discount on a £50+ meal. Sadly this hasn’t only been the one occasion, and a similar thing also happens to my partner where items were missing and food was cold, yet they said they wouldn’t do anything because most of their orders are fine? Utter shambles of a company and their service department is the worst. There’s a reason they have a horrific trust pilot score. Would recommend Deliveroo or Just Eat in any scenario, their customer service is incredible
Good but needs improving

I use Uber eats on a daily basis and have been happy so far however I have gone on Uber eats today and was unable to use a promo code due to there being a high amount of orders which shouldn’t affect my use of a promo code and therefor I was unable to order as well as this I have had some problems with deiveries and the customer service of Uber for exampl I had once put the wrong address from delivery which was indeed my fault however when ringing Uber I was told to let me delivery driver know about the new address only to be told by the delivery driver that he wasn’t getting paid to take it somewhere else and then just continued to delivery it to an address which I wasn’t at
The can’t get a basic order correct
Pickkkkle's on 2020-08-10
I use to use Uber all the time. I can’t remember the last time I ordered from Uber and they got the order correct. Items missing, wrong restaurant, my most recent one they just delivered an empty box with no food?!?! Then you have to apply for a refund, there is no service helpline to ring, you have to apply through the app and most times they never get back to you. Most drivers refuse to get out of the car, in my work I’m a fire warden and I can’t leave the building so I just find myself arguing with drivers to deliver the food, most of the drivers, not all, have a bad attitude. I have deleted the app for good now. There is a lot of work to be done.
