Many times ordered from Uber and has same issue m. Received partial order. When complain once received refund and now they accused customer that abusing Uber with missing order. See what they written “ Unfortunately, our system has flagged your account for similar issues raised on multiple occasions. Uber Eats has a strict policy against suspicious account activities like excessive credits/refunds or multiple accounts. We understand that this is not the response you were hoping for, but we will not be able to review this further.” After my respond which is “ “You right many time Uber didn’t deliver me full order. Do you think I will let you go with partial deliver order and let you take money ? I terms you should make sure that customer received full order ! Unfortunately you didn’t meet criteria. Whoever you are mr/miss admin bear in mind that you failing on delivering full orders not me. Why you don’t have telephone number to which I should call on time to return back delivery man to pick up partial order ?” Them respond still is the same” Sadly, based on the nature of your account we will be unable to provide any adjustments. We do have to take into consideration the number of refunds for any one account. While we understand you feel a refund is appropriate on this occasion, this is not something that can be provided.” Avoid this company as you can see you can order recently and unfortunately received partial order which after they will flag you in red as them term and condition. As a customer you have no right to tell them that about missing order etc. If I could I would give 0 star.
Promotions don’t work - BIG SCAM
bobnamenottaken on 2020-02-26
I am soooo disappointed with uber eats. I received an email with a promotion code that was still in date, so I downloaded the app for the first time and placed my first order. When I put the promo code in, it said it was not valid. There was another promo code which gave £10 off if you referred a friend and they used it. When I did this and my friend placed the order and used the code, it said the code had been applied already even though he had just opened an account. We tried ringing customer service but it said the phone number wasn’t recognised as being associated with my account even though on the app the number is verified. I was not able to speak to anyone from customer service therefore. My friend’s verified number didn’t work either so we were unable to speak to anyone. This whole process took over an hour on a Friday evening when we just wanted a relaxing night with a takeaway. I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service or difficult to use promotions. I can only conclude that these email promotions are scams to get you to download the app, only to pay full price at the end. If a representative from Uber Eats would like to contact me and explain why their apps and promotions are so hard to use, I may reconsider this review. Otherwise as a social influencer I can only spread the word that uber eats is not the way forward.
Delivery drivers always sent to wrong address
Neddy2000 on 2020-02-26
As three drivers ( two Uber eats and one Uber) have confirmed to me, their Uber satnav is flawed. My food gets sent to a house in another road that backs onto mine. By the time they contact me and say where are you (despite having my full postal address on the order), my food is cold. I got an Uber home which cost £61 only to be taken to the road behind mine. It’s a 5 minute walk from there to me. I had to redirect him. Why are Uber delivering to a blue dot on a satnav instead of an actual address? These dots we see in location services cover an area. We all know that. If I look at my location on find my friends or something else the blue dot covers three houses. Can Uber stop guessing and use a perfectly good satnav. By the way your drivers are having to use Waze as well to find the addresses. I’ve tried contacting Uber repeatedly but of course there is no reply so what’s the point of giving me your help section again. I never have this problem with Just eat. And it really seems like an easy fix. UPDATE: In reply to this I have been referred to a search for an issue page on UBER which just basically is a FAQ page that doesn’t see me as an individual or address any of my problems. Great!! Then I’m being asked to update my review. Well this is it! Nothing is being done. There is no customer care.

Do not use Uber eats, I just spent 50 minutes trying to place an order. First on google chrome I applied my discount code and then it wasn’t showing up, after trial and error I discovered that it showed up on Firefox so I re-added the entire order there. Then it told me as I didn’t have a phone number I needed to go onto the app to add one. Went onto the app where I couldn’t login by any other method except phone number, but as my phone number was not attached to my account it kept failing saying that the email was already in use. Eventually figured out I needed to add the phone number in the Uber app, not the Uber eats one. I’ve now added the phone number so I go back to Firefox and every time I tried to pay it told me to go and add a new payment method, which I did multiple times and was still not allowed to pay. Tried incognito mode, nothing. Tried back on the app and it was having the same payment issue, but when I tried AppePay it let me use that. The ETA on the food is 10-20 minutes, I should have finished eating by now and instead I’m starving. If they hadn’t offered me 50% off I would’ve given up 10 minutes in and just ordered from JustEat like I normally do. Never had an issue with them
Greedy greedy Uber

Delivery costs based on distance away from restaurant or popularity of restaurant £3.50 delivery for a McDonald’s 0.9 miles away Uber you are an absolute disgrace!! It would be okay if this money went to the delivery driver, but it doesn’t because then you ask me to give them a tip aswell. Please change how much cream you’re trying to scrape of the top of everyone involved To anyone trying to use this app, do you notice how when a company are blatantly cash grabbing the harder it is to make any kind of complaint? A very “bot” reply. Your delivery charges are not based on anything, they are based on greed and trading off of a major corporations name to rip off its customers KFC have a restaurant 0.1 mile closer to me, what’s the delivery charge? £3, £2.50..??? Nope 0.99p Whats the delivery charge for Joe Bloggs the chippie next door £0.00p Exactly you can charge what you like, it’s a transparent cash grab, and it’s unbelievable!!
Should stick to driving

Uber eats customer service is abysmal. They state the same thing over and over without ever resolving the issue with their delivery. Even when following up they will continue to ignore the situation until you give up. I’ve complained about an order that was over $40 but they offered $5 credit and then no response being provided. While they offer a lot of places to order from I’d recommend you steer clear of them. Sure they are easy to use but the drivers are ill-equipped to deliver food. They don’t have the necessary storage to keep the food warm and have no problem taking multiple orders at once which means if you are second in queue then likely your food would be cold. This is at the discretion of the drivers to accept yet you as the paying customer are impacted. An option should be provided to allow this for a customer to say yes/no to these types of deliveries.

Last time i am using this service, got quoted one time and delivered 40 minutes after that. I asked support for a cancellation as i was going into a meeting but no one responded. When they finally delivered the food was stone cold and horrible, went straight into the bin. Support did not give a damn. To have this kind of service in 2020 is shocking, oh well, plenty of alternatives around, not going to be missed. Will claim my refund with my bank if no one at uber cares P.s. the developer answered and requested to connect using the same system that has twice denied me a refund and said they will take my feedback into consideration... avoid this at all costs, take walk, that is better for you, cheaper than paying these crooks and you get fresh food. YOU WILL RECEIVE NO REFUND IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG!!!
Mac Donald’s
birdleywomenbody on 2020-02-26
I had ordered from Mac Donald’s on Uber eats to have a phone call not within 25 mins of my order been placed.. to say I am up the road come and get your food!!!! When I said I was ready for bed he wasn’t bothered left notes saying delivery to front door,, so I had to go and get ready for me to get to his car to find it full and a really bad smell of cannabis. And for my meal to be passed out of the window!!! And to top it off it was cold and missing items spoken to Uber and they just said I can re order it for you but why am I missing items the sticker was ripped and food missing not happy now I have gone to bed having to give my son food... not the pint but they will never deal with it jokes -5 star
Terrible customer service
jamaicanjam on 2020-02-26
I ordered subway through Uber and paid for extra cheese, double meat and extra sauce. None of these things had actually been applied to my order despite paying for them, and the general food I received was a lot less to what I would receive in store (eg. Measly sadly). I contacted Uber about this and as on my previous order McDonalds delivered a medium when I ordered a large they refused to refund me or deliver the correct items. It is only a total of £1.90 to be refunded - yet I am simply outraged by the customer service from Uber Eats as I have literally paid for several items that I did not receive. The equivalent of daylight robbery. Never had these sort of problems with Deliveroo.
Disgusting service is an understatement
Philippe891 on 2020-02-26
Yesterday’s McDonald’s order arrived 20 mins late. the food was icy cold due to the rider initially delivering an order that was 2 miles away from the restaurant, and 2 miles away from my house, go figure. I contacted support regarding this issue and they claimed they can’t reimburse neither for the delay nor for the cold food. Even though my order was just 1 medium meal only. Will stick to Deliveroo who are more ethical, understanding and non robotic and will always refund you if something ever goes wrong. I’ve never in my life ever received a refund from UberEats, even if something is missing or anything, they will accuse you of lying. Never again.
