If I had the choice,I wouldn't even give a 1-star to rate their customer service or support team.I have worked for uber for a while in England and then I moved to Scotland and contacted them to update my details in order to be able to see the promotions in that city and organise my time properly. By the way each city has its promotions that drivers can benefit from but when you work in another city apart from the one you signed up in ,you won't be able to benefit from the promotions in that new city unless you change your permanent address and update your information with Uber. It is the driver’s right to update his details when he permanently moves to another city and it is Uber’s duty to do so.They refused to update my details in order to work for them Without taking advantage of the promotions. They deceive and lie in order to steal the drivers' rights and effort.Just work for us and we pay you almost nothing.absolutely 100% rubbish company. I have screenshots that support my claim and wish I could upload them here. Don't work for these demons.

So I ordered around nearly £40 worth of food, to have the Uber app say it’s on the way (7min away) and then all of a sudden the order was cancelled. I was so confused so I called the restaurant, they said that the order was cancelled by someone as they cannot cancel themselves and I would need to call Uber and talk to them. So I went ahead and called to be then told to use the app to make a complaint. This then lead to me to find out that my order was still charged to my card and that it will be taken from my account. How can you charge me for an order that was not even delivered to me. Uber themselves still have not helped me in anyway, and tried to say it was my fault as the driver was waiting apparently which was a load of bs since I straight away ordered again from the same place and it was delivered properly and they did not once try to call. This was such a bad experience as I had children waiting for food. Uber really needs to have a better customer service complaint process. Would give 0 starts as this has happened before.

So here I am, something has gone wrong. No worries I try to contact the restaurant - I can’t, they appear to have shut. I can see Uber Eats has attempted to send person after person to collect my order - probably about 12 drivers so far! What a waste of everyone’s time. The App makes it impossible to contact Uber Eats whole the order is in this state - the App even hides the supposed Live Chat / Message function. I finally attempt to call them but the automated voice almost mockingly asks me to click on ‘Help’ in the app - an exercise in futility as I had already learnt. They kept me on hold for 10, sent a bunch more riders to try pick up the order and I eventually gave up trying to stop this waste of time because so much of my time had been wasted too. Go to Just Eat, Deliveroo or anything else but this billion dollar failure.

Ordered at 9:15. My address couldn’t be found as living in a flat. Could only find 3 not 3c so left message in notes. Waited for over an hr. hoping to contact driver to confirm. Refreshing my phone like a mad woman. Only to be told 1hr 30 mins later, after calling customer support, starving by this time, that my order had been cancelled. Great! Could of just thrown in a pizza but wanted to surprise my boyfriend, on annual leave. Well he was surprised. Me tense af, with no explanation as to why. First time and last time I order from this sorry firm. No way of finding answers till it’s too late. A lottery of will you eat or won’t you. Support was useless. Apparently I could order from somewhere else? Why to wait in limbo again? Are they real! 22.55 now and just starting to cook, should have food by 11:30. Never again.

Absolute joke and not delivery service. ordered food and they marked as delivered, but food was delivered to the wrong address. Called customer support and they apologised and asked to re order again. Once ordered again with clear delivery instructions and asking to call me once they outside. Delivery driver did not contacted me and delivered to the wrong address again. Once contacted customer service again, the person was extremely rude and advised cannot do anything for me as order been completed. Once explained situation, he was not willing to help and advised email different department and wait for 24h for response regards my issue. Still not received their service, response or my money back. Joke not a delivery company.

I would strongly advise against using uber eats! I placed an order and didn’t receive 2/3 of the order. Options for help in the app resulted in an automated email saying “We've taken a look into your order and the concerns you've raised and unfortunately, we will be unable to provide a refund on this occasion. We understand that these issues do arise on occasion, but not often at this regularity. While we appreciate this wasn’t the experience you were looking for, we hope you understand our decision.” You can’t reply to this email and a help number to call is an automated message saying “please use our app” ridiculous!!! I won’t use uber eats anymore, would much rather Deliveroo or just eat!

Ordered from the German Kebab shop thru Uber Eats. I scheduled the delivery for between 20.30 and 21.15. At around 20.40 I got an email asking me to call the driver MOHAMMED FAROOQ, which I did. He said he was on Hollins Road which is a mile and half away from me. He said his sat nav is going funny. I gave him my postcode again and thought it would soon be here. A minute later I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. When I questioned it with Uber Eats the driver said he had been sat outside my house for 33 minutes. Which is a complete lie. They have taken my money, no food and blocked my number. Beware using Uber Eats people. They are full of lies and racist towards white people.

10/8/20 I am happy to reinstate the rating up to 5 stars as the food and the service were excellent today! 9/8/20 I am sorry for the 2 stars, but today the food was cold. Two wraps and 20 chicken nuggets just warm but none likes cold chips, which even if you microwave them for 10secs aren’t up to the standard. However, that was my only choice today, as I had two hungry kids to feed! Usually, your services are up to your standards and I have had no complaints, but today it was a disappointment. ETA was changing up and down from 4 to 6 mins and back again for 12 mins at least. It might mean nothing but it might be a negative omen... I will be happy to increase my rating in the future.

Honestly the worst food delivery app out the bunch. Consistently had cold food, where UberEats customer service is as useless as a chocolate teapot. Didn’t resend the food despite us stating the issue on arrival, and they offered a 3% discount on a £50+ meal. Sadly this hasn’t only been the one occasion, and a similar thing also happens to my partner where items were missing and food was cold, yet they said they wouldn’t do anything because most of their orders are fine? Utter shambles of a company and their service department is the worst. There’s a reason they have a horrific trust pilot score. Would recommend Deliveroo or Just Eat in any scenario, their customer service is incredible

I have been a member since they started and regret spending anything with these guys. Download Deliveroo or just eat or any other app. These guys deliver poor standar of food and when you try and complain they tell you they will try and fix it meanwhile you will be billed for Big Macs with Coca Cola spilled inside. Customer service are the most shady ever they don’t even answer the phone now it’s just chat on the web so they can lie easier. For a company this big you would taking onus for there faults would be a standar they adhere to but no.. this is why this company won’t be in yo for much longer because we have REGULATIONS HERE!!
