Description

Halo is a new approach to improving your health—a membership that provides you with innovative tools, personalized data and insights, and an ever-growing library of premium content designed to help you build healthier habits for life. This app requires a Halo device. Key features: DISCOVER • Explore an ever-growing library of premium and on-demand workouts, daily meditations, as well as nutrition and sleep support. • Simple, measurable programs help you see the impact that small changes can make on how feel–like whether meditating improves your focus, or if a pet-free bedroom improves your sleep quality. ACTIVITY • Informed by guidelines from the American Heart Association, Halo measures the intensity of your activity in addition to tracking steps and sedentary time. This means that working harder—like taking two stairs at a time, or going for a jog—helps you reach your weekly goals faster. SLEEP • Analyze your sleep patterns, like how long it takes you to fall asleep, how much you wake up at night, and how long you spend in each sleep stage. NUTRITION • Get a tailored weekly menu that can be synced with your Halo app grocery list, your Alexa shopping list, or the Whole Foods app to make meal prep even easier. • Add recipe ingredients or standalone items to your grocery list anytime. • Browse and get inspiration with hundreds of nutritious recipes. MOVEMENT • Halo uses your smartphone’s camera to accurately measure your mobility, stability, and posture, and then provides a custom set of corrective exercises to help you improve over time. BODY COMPOSITION • Halo's Body feature is nearly twice as accurate as leading at-home smart scales. • Body uses your smartphone’s camera to determine your body fat percentage, which is a better indicator of health than weight or BMI alone. • A personalized 3D model helps you track changes. CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS • Get phone call and text notifications, start live workouts, and get move reminders right from your wrist with Halo View fitness tracker (sold separately). TONE OF VOICE ANALYSIS • Halo analyzes the positivity and energy of your voice to help you learn how you may sound to others. Updated 2nd year review - live my halo membership!!
MtnBrookie on 2022-09-29
Im iver 50 use Amazon fire stick exclusively for my channels etc ! Saying that I encourage amazing halo to offer a tv “ channel “ halo to use the programs! They’re too tiny on my phone screen & I’ve tried screen mirroring but it rarely works without additional downloads etc ! Halo would sell out if ppl could actually use these programs daily on. Tv screen! I ordered the new view then realized I have 3 extra bands for my old non view halo and I wear an Apple Watch ! So I canceled it even at half price! Im super happy to pay 5$ a month to access helpful health uses etc! Sleep has been my enemy but this little app works! If you pay attention ! I learned my dogs were walking me up- started crating them and it’s made a world of difference in my sleep score ! I tell everyone about halo ! It’s that user friendly ! Please consider a tv app or at least a way to cast the shows up to tv like I do w my YouTube app!it’s crazy an Amazon product can’t be cast thru app to a fire tv! Makes no sense that a Google chrome cast can make this app work ! There is no iPad ( larger ) app to use ( I even thought I try tige workouts in my iPad but nope it’s same as phone - barely see it to do the exercises
Used to be great… now rarely works

The app is one of the things I was recommending about the halo. Now I’m having to go retract my recommendation to my friends. I’d feel bad if they bought this on my rec. Seems like something broke in the past couple of months and now the app never loads and on the rare occasion it does, it definitely won’t sync with the watch. I tried all the trouble shooting multiple times to no avail. Plus there’s only so many times I want to factory reset the watch and lose all the data that didn’t sync before I just start looking at alternatives. At first I thought it was the watch but that wouldn’t make it so the app can’t open or load anything (while the cat knocking things over graphic is cute, it gets old when that’s the only thing this app can do). No chance I’m going to pay the monthly fee for an app I can’t even use most of the time. I guess I’m glad, if it was going to go downhill, that it did before I’d spent much on it. I really like the watch and app when they do work. It’s just that that is rare lately.
Halo Works Well

Just wish it shared all this great data with Apple Health. Also would really really really like to be able to turn off exercise, meditation and diet areas of the app. These are useless to me, and do you not realize how incredibly insulting it is for you people-bots to assume we are stupid? This crap takes up space on my phone, and should be OPTIONAL CRAP, AT BEST. You know nothing about me, and will never know anything about me. Get me? HATE the recipes, exercises and meditation junk on here, BECAUSE YOU ASSUME I KNOW NOTHING!!!! And it shows what idiots the developers are. And including boy avatars doesn’t make it any less sexist. Like we don’t know how to deal with periods, eating, etc. Too bad you ruined an otherwise very useable tracker with all that stupid advice crap. Which should be OPTIONAL CRAP!!! Why can’t I enter my own data for exercises I choose?

expensive
tcz97 on 2022-09-29
Watch only works with paid plan and is very expensive for what little it provides. I like the data but it doesn’t link to any other data on my phone, so what is the point of having it link to the phone: to read and understand it better ? $40 a year for the privilege to read your own watch? Dumb business model, brilliant for the rich CEO, but stupid for the consumer. I’m going to upgrade to an apple product, it’ll be cheaper in the long run and it can tell my health app and others such as noom how many steps I took.
Nothing but problems since patch
RiaDovv on 2022-09-29
I use the Halo View and iPhone 7. Since the app updated to 1.3.18, I’ve had nonstop connection problems. While I’ve tried the factory reset fix and reinstalled the app, it hasn’t helped. I’ve done a factory reset and fresh connection at least three times. While the connection will work for a short time, within a couple hours, the app and Halo can’t sync again. The Amazon website has no other suggestions for fixes, of course. Plus I can’t get data off the View, like sleep data, so I guess I have an overpriced watch.
I love it!

The Halo App is so helpful and is a time saver, for me. How? Well I spend less time looking for a workout. I can get straight to working out if I select a program or a video. It helps me also keep track and see my progress to stay motivated. The body scan is insane and accurate! And there’s also recipes to help with diet! This was a gift to me from my husband for my birthday. He knows I love working out. I was lacking motivation and trying different things and this App and band did it for me!
Great, if it actually worked
mawitty0123 on 2022-09-29
I got the Halo View and set it up with the app 6 weeks ago. Everything worked great, until two days ago. Now, whenever I open the app, I either see “Something went wrong” or a plain white screen. How do I cancel my membership if I can’t even open the app? I’m getting scammed at this point, since I can’t take advantage of any of the “special features” in the app. I’ve never felt quite this ripped off by Amazon before.
This app is awful
Brownie Giddess on 2022-09-29
I can’t begin to tell you all the problems but basically it doesn’t show no with my watch and all I get is “try again!” “ Cleaning up!” I can’t read steps, calories, and my sleep information anymore. My watch doesn’t tell me sleep information only steps, calories,… I would not recommend this watch to anyone. If I could give it zero stars, I would! We have tried setting it up again, but it still doesn’t work!
Halo Band
kimmyrara on 2022-09-29
I’ve had my Halo band since two months ago and I am loving it! I like the sleep tracking the best. I had issue with staying asleep and that helped me understand my sleeping patterns. It gives me ideas on recipes and exercises. The battery lasts about 2 days, however I haven’t set up my tone option yet. Would highly recommend if you want to lose weight or check your sleep patterns
