Why am I paying $120 a year?

Again I can get the same product through eBay same cost with free shipping in four days. This is the same as Amazon prime. But I don’t pay eBay $120 a year. I became a prime member for the offer of 2 day free shipping on prime products. But I am repeatedly seeing extended shipping times on prime products. Why does amazon feel they can use the covid-19 virus as an excuse to rip off their customers. If you are no longer offering 2 day free shipping on prime products refund our money. Most of us are laid off and that 120 could go a long ways right now. If you are going to suspend 2 day free shipping on prime products then you should suspend the $120 fee. Amazon, you just lost another sale. Maybe your at the size now that you don’t care. Companies start of with an entrepreneurial spirit, controlled by one or a small group of people who care. These companies become great. Then these same companies become huge bureaucracy’s where nobody cares anymore. Ones have no vested interest as a single employee of a large conglomerate. Even if they do care do they have power to make change? Generally not.

Works fine on my iPhone (haven’t updated it yet), but when I try to post a question from my iPad, the button does nothing. And it’s super hard to find an item again unless you add it your cart or list, and then even if you don’t buy it, it will keep showing up in your recommendations for years to come (plus the listing can suddenly go from something normal to something you didn’t want to know about, and then THAT’s what’ll be recommended to you forever). There’s also no way to edit those recommendations, so you’ll always be bombarded with it Also there’s no way to report a sale of something that doesn’t belong to the seller (the most you can do is report them for incorrect product information, which they never read, or give them a bad review, which will be removed and might get you banned), so there are all these listings that say “handmade costume REAL PICTURE” and use stolen images of characters and custom items that the real owners have very clearly stated are not for sale.
New update = what? More of nothing

The new update said it would increase the seamless shopping experience... I see no change at all. Home still goes straight to this silly “home” which has nothing to do with Shopping! It’s all Prime Video, music, etc still. If I want to watch Prime video I do it on the FireTV, if I want to listen to music I do it in the Echo or Amazon Music app. If I want to shop “seamlessly” well.... yeah still can’t do that anymore. Where did you hide the lightening deals and deals of the day? Why does searching for deals of the day or lightening deals not show me this? Why does the search functions show me more things unrelated to my search than what I searched for? People are at home because of COVID-19, instead of helping them shop, you seamlessly made it harder to do. I haven’t bought anything in awhile with the app, Amazon has to know that it is being used less in general by people. It has to be seamlessly killing sales.
Bring Back Recommendations!

I’m not sure when this update occurred, but I noticed that when viewing an item (let’s say the blu-ray copy of A League of Their Own), the items recommended are no longer similar. This is such a small complaint, but when viewing a movie or book, I like to see items that are actually related to the item being viewed. The “sponsored products related to this item” section honestly have nothing to do with the product in question! The sponsored products for A League of Their Own consist of the complete collection of Walker Texas Ranger, What We Do in the Shadows (vampire movie), the Toy Story 4-film collection and many other products that don’t relate at all! Hope to see this fixed!

Amazon associates have been told there’s no chat in the app and have forwarded it to higher ups but apparently they don’t want to add the ONLY way you can contact them rn. No more drag and drop. No chat feature like on computer. And as far as amazon itself with chat there’s no end chat button X does nothing to the chat. And recently chat has been hours waiting so far it’s taken 5 hours to get someone after I gave up to go to sleep at hour 4 which was 10pm. Time is not accurate for a wait and at least 15 minutes is not helpful. Add a number in line not can be blah blah blah minutes.

This app keeps buying amazon prime for no reason. I’m the only one who uses it. I didn’t ask for it to buy it. It does it by itself. On top of that, it won’t even let me rate things I buy! I can rate things on The App Store and the Google Play store, why not products I buy? I’m getting ready to stop using this all together. The prices are outrageous and overpriced when you can get them for way cheaper on E-bay and other websites. One time I ordered a Windows phone and instead I got a really old crappy android phone! You need to step up ur game. This is why people hate this app!

What is your problem Amazon? You tell me a shippment will be hear in a week, then you change the delivery date to two months later. You give no option to cancel the order. Who wants to wait 2 months for a order that was suposed to be here in a weak. You are taking advantage of people do to the corona virus , you have become absolutely in a time of crisis. Walmart can still comply with customers basis needs. You amazon however do not trully care about your customers and it has always been a money making prosses for you screw the customer its not your problem, Right?

I ordered a lot of things very expensive without an account not knowing it would force me to make an account after I’ve already purchased and ordered. Now in my account my orders are gone I can’t track nothing and they are not taking calls so now I don’t know if my orders will go through or when they will arrive. This is the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. If it’s mandatory to have an account to order it should make you make one from the start. Not after you’ve already purchased and then after you make your account your order is missing

Waiting on my refund. Scared my other bills late fees will add up. $39 for each bill. They need to be ashamed of themselves doing this. Lost 2 stars because of this. Lost another star. No delivery in my area for a whole month. Sad maybe they need more delivery drivers or something I don’t know. But its been weeks. But with this pandemic not able to use service anymore. Lost another star. Support chat need help kept redirecting me to different people after time out or you go into other part of app to get order number.
Can’t cancel orders

I understand a global pandemic is happening and we aren’t getting packages on a timely manner anymore, priorities and essentials are first, understandable . But I have tried multiple times to cancel an order for a phone case that I am waiting nearly two months on. And it will not let me cancel my order still after almost a month. Tried cancelling it the first day and it wouldn’t. Cmon amazon, try to make at least one thing positive about your app. Prime is a waste of money at thus point, don’t even bother using it.
