It’s freaking horrible and I mean horrible. Amazon’s online store has really gone downhill. For example, have one subscription channel with Amazon Prime. Due to recent changes to the app I can no longer see all of my channels in one place. Instead what I see is a list of crap I once subscribed to nearly 5 years ago along with other stuff. It’s confusing to go through a long list with no clear demarcation of EXPIRED this and that just to find that one rare gem of a current subscription. I guess this is Amazon’s way of trolling it’s customers especially when the previous format was fine. There are other examples of issues with Amazon but they’re too numerous to list here. ———//——— You know what: (1) Formatting. I don’t know if sellers get to chose how their items are showcased on the sight but the formatting across the entire site should be uniform. You’ll see some items like brand name shampoo that feature color blocking, uniform titling using the same font size, titles that aren’t unnecessarily long or contain unnecessary information; (2) The Shopping Cart. Ok, so if you’ve ever created a PowerPoint presentation then you know you can do all sorts of things like create exams, etc. My point is, during the creation there’s a point where you set the “go to slide” this is where you tell PowerPoint to advance to the next slide or “go to” a particular slide as in cases where the wrong answer was selected. Well, I’ve noticed and complained about the fact that the shopping cart will advance to the wrong page when you delete items. Place 10 items in your cart, delete a few and eventually you’ll see the “your cart is empty” and you know it isn’t. There are different remedies to blah, blah, blah.... —-//—- I’m feeling dejected now that I’ve started writing this. Why? I’ve called and complained about all of these things and nothing. Clearly Amazon doesn’t care about this app.
Awful UI is making me shop elsewhere

I’m constantly so fed up by Amazon’s search mechanism and UI that I’ve been trying to find things on basically any other online platform rather than having to deal with Amazon—it’s incredible to me how even though I pay yearly for prime, this app search functionality is SO much worse than other apps that I don’t pay for. 1. Why do all the search results disappear when you search by price: low to high? 2. Why can’t I input my preferred min and max price rather than amazon recommending random price ranges? 3. The search function is so inaccurate. It recommends at the top of the list some weird brands that seem shady when I review the user ratings, and I always get a ton of unrelated results before getting things that actually hit on the search terms I’ve included. 4. App refreshes every time I add a filter which is pretty annoying when you’re looking for item subcategories, especially because of 5. Soooo much lag. Please make this app easy to use again. It’s so frustrating to find anything that i am seriously considering skipping prime and find my needed items elsewhere.
Delivering to address

So my fiancé currently lives in Mexico due to him doing school over there. Whenever I select the address of his as the shipping address so I can refine my search, neither the app or the website refines the search properly. It always says “showing items deliverable to Mexico” but most of the things that show up after I select a product DOES NOT actually deliver to Mexico. It’s such a bother, especially after I find him something I want to get him. It took me hours before to find him several things for his birthday because most of the things that showed up don’t actually ship to his location like the search says. Amazon needs to fix this error and actually show ONLY the items that will be delivered to Mexico or whatever other location the address selected is. It’s tiresome getting my hopes up in getting my fiancé something nice only to realize that’s not the case after all.

* REVISED TO ONE STAR FROM TWO AND ORIGINALLY 5 I used to shop for things on here much more but now I find its only if I know exactly what I want and go search it by name directly. It is now painful to look for anything. So tired of hitting next and seeing more ads than results. It was so simple when you could just scroll results. I often find myself opening the app searching- getting fed up and going back to google to find things. Sometimes I go back to amazon to order but often now I don’t and I just find it somewhere else. Please fix this Why did the continuous scrolling turn into the annoyance of continuously hitting the next button???? This is a pain and really annoying and has caused me on multiple occasions to just find it on another site and not waste my time trying to see the other options. Please fix this and return to the scrolling.
No rush shipping no longer an option

I noticed the option for no rush shipping is no longer an option. Noticed on my last 2 orders and everything I put in my cart today. Keep in mind I ordered the same thing a few days apart. Chatted with Amazon who said I needed to resolve on the phone. The rep tried to be polite but just didn’t seem to understand saying that I chose 2 day shipping or it wasn’t applicable to the items I ordered. I lost my patience when I suggested that possibly there was a glitch and was told no there wasn’t. More than once. It felt like I was being patronized a bit. Because obviously there is when I have tested this by placing various items in my cart and no rush shipping isn’t available for ANY of these items. I prefer no rush if I don’t need the items right away for the promotional credit. Oh well. Cart emptied. I can stop at the store.
My ordered was delayed

Amazon usually gives me no trouble but recently, I ordered a dress and it was said to arrive by the 18th of February because I really needed it for a special occasion. However, at the exact time it was suppose to arrive it then said “Running late” instead of “arriving at 8pm” like it had always previously stated. This made me a little upset because I had no warning or time to order another dress. I had Specifically ordered the dress that I did for this reason strictly and when it did not come I was livid. I hope that this feature is fixed to tell you that your order might arrive within the time that it will arrive instead of leading you on to thinking that you are getting your item but it is delayed the second it was suppose to come, Thank you for reading!
Why can’t you make it work?

Started sabotaging the functionality of the app a long time ago with the removal of key features like “move to wish list” from the cart but completely breaking the ability to shop all available new/used items from third-party sellers?! Wow.. the aesthetic changes to the display of new/used items were bad, but now you can’t even get to them unless you go back to a browser!! Your inability to find specific items through search is laughable at best, for the love of god: stop pushing digital content so blatantly, we get it - it’s pure profit for you but searching for anything with the word Blu should at least return ONE Blu Ray result!! Awful...

I try not to be rude or negative but my 2 cent review is that you had a great app that wasn’t broken. It was probably the single most important tool that helped build your Amazon Brand. People don’t usually like change when things are going well. I try and roll with the punches but I have to agree with what seems like the majority, I don’t like the changes you have made to this App. Please consider going “back” to the previous interface. This is not proving to be an improvement to those of us who search for and purchase your merchandise. Thank you.

I’m not ordering or ever being a customer to amazon they have played games and I’m so upset that I can’t even get one simple order through they suspended my account for no reason. This was the worst experience I ever had with amazon ! Verification for my husbands debit card the customer leader didn’t help me with anything but tell me the same thing the other person said refund me after it went through they purposely did that. Jenny told me they first ran out of digital code for my purchase that was a lie . I’m just so upset all around . I’m done !

3 different watches on my prime account all new first watch lost and destroyed, second watch charged more money plus shipping after I placed order and in spite of having Prime free delivery selected. Second watch came “like new” I ordered new. It was missing half the links on the band, scratched up refurbished obviously and just loose in the shipping bag. Ridiculous. They are maintaining that I order used which I can obviously point out with my order confirmation and invoice. Have still NOT been given a straight explanation or resolution
