Am I using a third party to book something again! Trying to cancel my booking due to the vivid-19 pandemic and can’t even get in touch with a customer service agent at booking.com Had to go on a manhunt for their customer service number which told me essentially that they cannot be bothered with me due to my booking date and said to go through their site which is useless right about now and hung up. Bookings app says to contact the hotel to see if they will waive the cancellation fees but when you call they say it has to be done through booking.com. So now Im being sent in circles with everyone telling me I have to go through the other person and all I want to do is just get my money back since I can’t go because of a global pandemic and forces outside of my choice. So long story short... just book your hotels through the actual hotel so you don’t have to jump hoops to get a refund when a global pandemic has everything being cancelled and shut down
Hotel charged me with a higher price that I booked from this app. The price advertised in this app should be the price charged to me but it was not. I talked to the hotel. I talked to booking app customer service support and have a ticket on their file. Long follow up short, I still don’t have my refund from the September 2019 complaint either from the hotel or from booking app.
Y’all be careful. It was my first time using the app. A friend recommended it. It’s fancy and easy to use but when it comes to prices, ya need to double triple check with your hotel before ya agree to swipe that card because ya can’t always trust the prices here and hotel would always say, they’re third party and hotel price would always be correct.
Good installations in a very peaceful and nature-integrated environment. Good breakfast. One of the best pools and sauna, however, pool had a big pile of animal poop that could translate into infectious diseases. We warned the pool boy who said it would take care of that but nothing was done. Probably this is standard for them but we didn’t want to take the risk and ceased the swimming prematurely. The room was pretty smelly (as if it was old), with an outdated and not functional jacuzzi, and pretty old fridge. Terrible experience at the expensive restaurant with poorly executed dishes. Far from relaxing spa experience that costs two/three times more than anywhere else.
Overall rate: Not a good value for the money.
As many of you know we’re in national pandemic time due to covid19. My son’s high school organized band travel to Orlando during spring break and now that’s canceled. Disney world is closed also. There’s no point for us to travel. I booked hotel through booking.com with pay-advance options early in January. I tried so many times throughout its virtual assistant to cancel without canceling fee. It always says this “sent to customer service”. Now a week has passed and I received no help from nobody. Bad decision for me to choose pay advance options to save a few $. But Booking.com made it worst by offering no help or anything. I’ll never use this app again. Not recommended. 0 stars if possible!
I have 2 existing bookings and tried to cancel them via Booking and Booking.com have not answered any of my requests for a week. I have tried Over Customer Service where they have a 24h answer policy which also failed miserably, no answer after 3 days. Not even a ‘we are trying’ answer. Reservations are within the next 2 weeks so I would expect better from a service where I hold the top ‘Genius 2’ tier after making tens of bookings.
In comparison, Expedia is pro-actively reaching out to customers to check how they can help.
Very poor service from Booking at a time when brands have a great opportunity to stand out. Or to stand out as poor, also an option it seems.
We have been attempting to get a refund for our deposit of a resort for our spring break vacation. I called the resort in Ormond Beach, Florida - Floridian Resort by Spinnaker - garbage. TRAVIS was of NO help. Basically told me I can just show up and practice social distancing from their resort! I also reached out to the regional director with no help. Booking.com customer service help center with no solution. At a time where $300 could give us groceries to be prepared for whatever is ahead of us is serious! We are a family of 5 and they obviously have no worries for others! Never again will we be using booking.com
I made three reservations in hotels in Europe thru this website for April.
Madrid, Rome and Santorini.
I have contacted them and the hotels to cancel my reservations and see if they can Issue a credit or refund. The response from Booking.com is that the hotel has to make the decision. When The Hotel responded they said the policy for Booking.com doesn’t allow them to cancel my reservation.
Is not my decision to cancel this trip.
But Iberia cancel our flights and we are not able to go now.
The customer service for this page is the worst. Don’t make any Booking thru them instead go to the Hotel page directly.
We’ve now stayed 4 years in a row for my birthday and I wouldn’t want to celebrate it anywhere else. The consistency in their attention to every detail of your stay never ceases to amaze me. Although it’s a quiet town in some ways the weasku in really does “ask you inn “ with its cleanliness, hospitality, and don’t get me started on Their complimentary meals! You might as well be at the ritz for breakfast and the afternoon snack is basically a 5 course meal with everything fresh and quality. I’ve never had a better sleep or meal anywhere I’ve stayed so thank you and. you have patrons for life

Time was efficient and the process was effective. They answered all of my questions when I called. Helped make my fear of canceling due to COVID-19 relieved and they were able to get the cancellation fee removed for me. (Which was what I was fearful of)
Overall, this app, this company, and even the staff is all a double thumbs up from my experience !! I will absolutely be using Booking.com for any traveling inquiries.. Thank you Booking.com!!

Booking.com refuse to help me cancel my reservation knowing we can’t travel or go to work the event I was going to canceled because it was for over 100 guest I’m sick with asthma and diabetes so I can’t travel they gave me the run around I had to call the hotel they canceled it right away they said they understand and don’t want to lose customers!!! And my bank said don’t worry this is a world wide emergency we will cancel the payment the nerves of booking .com safety comes first !!!
