Description

Over 50 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behaviour. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. However, if you’re looking to get the most from Bumble, you can subscribe to our optional subscription product Bumble Boost. We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month and 6 month subscriptions giving discounts to the weekly price. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. Prices are clearly displayed in the app. * Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. * Your subscription will automatically renew itself, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. * Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. * You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the iTunes Store. * If offered, if you choose to use our free trial, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable * If you don’t choose to purchase Bumble Boost, you can simply continue using and enjoying Bumble for free. Great concept but many bugs (and no answers)
Meghan0421 on 2020-02-26
Pros: I love the message and principles of bumble as an organization. Their emphasis on respect and equality is strong and I appreciate that. Bumble BFF and bumble bizz seem cool! The app is easy to navigate and appeasing to the eye. Being able to “undo” a swipe left is nice and not available on some other popular apps. Customer service is individualized and personable. Cons: the last few versions have been riddled with bugs. Even with all notification types turned on, background refresh on, deleting/reinstalling/updating the app, logging in and out, restarting/updating my phone, I still miss notifications regularly and have thus missed several matches. This doesn’t happen with tinder or hinge so I know it’s app specific. And while customer service has been kind they’re INCREDIBLY slow with responses and I still haven’t gotten any answers as to what’s going on. Final recommendation: this app is definitely worth using but you have to manually check the app at least once every 24 hours or you’ll miss matches.
Meet my girlfriend on bumble, it works!
Folgrin on 2020-02-26
Update: we’re getting married in May 2020! Hang in there and Best of luck to you all! Over a year later and still going strong! Drop tinder and focus on bumble, it does work. My advise, be patient and go through the process. Results don’t happen over night. Be patient and be positive and you will get results. Every date is an opportunity to learn more about the world of dating or yourself, every date is a lesson win lose or draw. Be open minded and focus on the positive of every encounter and I promise you’ll find what you’re looking for. To the fellas, take this seriously. If you’re looking to hook up, go back to tinder this isn’t the place. There’s nothing wrong with that just don’t lie about it, be communicative with your intent do people don’t get hurt. Good luck everyone!!! I hope you find what you’re looking for!
It’s ok

Bumble has a clean look to it, is fun to use, has tons of users and customization, but has some severe problems. You can’t see who likes you without paying, and paying a lot. Therefore, if you swipe right on someone, or someone swipes right on you, and one of the two of you have your search settings outside the range of the other, you’ll never match with that person unless you take a risk and swipe right on them without being able to see who they are first. Or you have to hope they take the risk on you without being able to see who you are. It’s most likely they’ll just leave you in their beeline. Bumble should take note from Hinge and allow their users to see the profiles of those who like them without paying.
Don’t get this app
TJready96 on 2020-02-26
This app is a complete waste of time, not only is it basically like all the other “dating” apps where you have to pay to use basic functions of the app like seeing who likes you or even paying an additional $20 to super like someone, which is at least free on Tinder, this app is riddled with people who catfish. Most of the women I’ve talked to on here used old photos of themselves and then once you started talking to them they look almost nothing like they did in their profile. I’m being generous an giving it 2 stars because it at least finds a lot of people near you, despite them not looking the same, and the profiles are clear and to the point which is nice. Other than that, it’s not worth the time and money.
Review.

Honestly, I want to like this app... I’ve given it multiple chances and it’s the same thing every time. Normally most dating apps women don’t really respond, but with bumble that issue is heightened because women can only message first and they almost never reach out and the match is gone. I’m assuming it’s because regardless of how a woman looks most of them have a pretty decent pool of guys to sift though. It just feels like a pretty big disadvantage and you find yourself mindlessly swiping and you might get lucky and have some sort of short conversation. All in all, it’s a pretty big waste of time compared to Hinge and tinder. So if you aren’t a blond hair blue eyed frat boy you might want to stay away.
Frustrating and loneliness (male)
Echinostomata on 2020-02-26
Experience of 3+ months of usage: In this app, I have gotten the least amount of interaction of any of the kind— because I can’t share common connections with others. I live in a city and have swiped right on hundreds of girls and matched three, one of which never wrote to me. To add to the frustration, I have seen there are two girls in my beeline or whatnot, and I patiently waited to confirm/deny their profiles, but the app says there is no one else in the area, when clearly there are two right there who the app won’t let us cross paths without a premium. Having just refined my profile with better pictures, etc, I will probably give it one more month before calling it quits on this app.
Surprised and happy

I met my boyfriend on bumble without really intending too. I wanted to first just see what was out there and maybe meet someone who wanted what I did in a serious matter. I was looking for more than a fling. I was lucky enough to meet my boyfriend and have been the happiest I could be over the last year. Never thought I would find someone who understands and supports me as well as he does. I truly hope everyone finds their match someday and have as great of a connection as I did! <3 for real bumble thanks for making it an amazing experience with minimal issues. An app that didnt make me feel overwhelmed or completely creeped out.
Just a tip for developers

After previously using other apps with no luck, decided to return having met a great gal on here before . I now have a great new match. We decided to meet up for quick evening coffee date that ended at 4AM. After hours of talking, joking, & laughing hysterically we agreed that Bumble should add a way of leaving reviews on users you have matched with. We decided to text ourselves reviews on each other just for fun & came to the conclusion it would definitely enhance the experience on the app. Sandra you have 2 thumbs up from me only because that’s all I have.
Stole my money
djshjakal on 2020-02-26
I really didn’t mind the app, but didn’t have time for it. So I deleted my account and the app. For no reason they then charged my account for 3MONTHS of a subscription that I never signed up for. There is no way to contact bumble for a refund. They don’t care about people they just want to take your money like they did mine. They are a disgraceful company that I will never use again. The only way to end a subscription is through the most convoluted complicated way. Don’t sign up for this app, they will attempt to steal your money like they did mine.
Almost like vaporware
CapricornAstronomer on 2020-02-26
Used this one for about 48 hours. Liked about 7 people. No replies. While the concept sounds different, the bottom line is the same as other apps. You won’t be impressed. Most of not all of these apps are the same, photo swapping. Even the people you do talk with are too lazy to actually date. In theory computer dating should work, the reality is much different. Find out for yourself, odds are the experience will be like doing nothing but swiping. Sad to see online dating take the fall, too many wannabe apps with no credibility now.
