I came here because I am so fed up with the glitches on this app. I have used cbs for 3 years now for my March madness bracket pool. And I will never use it again. I had to struggle to see my bracket leagues, and it showed me a bunch of random ones. I eventually figured it out, but after that many people in my pool were unable to join the league and had to create new emails because this app wouldn’t let them join with their current accounts. We have 18 people in our pool and 25 brackets, the rest of which are incomplete however all those other people had to create new accounts. And now that the games have begun all I wanted to do was see the standings. Our pool has a bonus for the longest winning streak but I can’t even see who that is because now no one I know can access the brackets. I hope it’s fixed, but I will never use cbs for my bracket pool again. This has been a nightmare, and the sad part is I could create a whole website to do just this March madness bracket pool in 5 minutes and it wouldn’t have as many issues as this. I really hope the bracket pool isn’t deleted or something… but I have no way of finding out. So thanks for that cbs

Until a few days ago, when accessing a specific event, we were able to follow the comments from the press for both teams. Now we have an option for Odds instead. If that is because of Elon and his people dropping the hammer on that, I apologize for the low rating, but that was the best feature for this app compared to the competition and there is little sense using it any more. I feel bad for your advertisers. I realize that I should also be able to watch events broadcast on CBS here, but I have to turn on the TV to watch those because of other problems with this app, as I have complained about earlier.
Bracket Challenge Completion Bug

In our bracket group, we have over 100 people. Many are completing the brackets and the status shows as complete on their screen. But when you go to the over all group page, many of them still say incomplete. I tried to report the issue but the bug collecting avenues are not clearly defined for this app. You make it pretty difficult to report a bug. Will update rating after the issue is resolved.
Update: the app is also preventing addition of new users. We send out a link to someone and it never goes through. Still no update games start in 45 minutes. Fix it now!
Literally unusable

Literally unusable. I honestly doubt cbs even took the time to code separate interfaces for their website and mobile app. Every time I attempt to use this app, and I mean every time, at some point in my normal user navigation process I am stopped and prompted to “continue in the app” with a redirected hyperlink to the apple App Store. In order to . . . download the very app I am currently trying to use?! LOLZZZZ
Also my navigations regularly will end with a page just sitting blank, refusing to either load or refresh.
March Madness 2023

The app has been more or less useless since Selection Sunday, with absolutely no communication from developers promising a fix. As a pool administrator, I am left wondering if issues will be resolved by First Round tip-off, or if I’m better off bailing out to a functioning platform. To say this is frustrating—especially considering the size and resources available to a company as large as CBS Sports—is a massive understatement. Fix it…or at least let us all know that we need to move on.
More Updates Needed

I have not gotten an alerts for any spring training games. My favorite team show in my feed and the score is there but I have not gotten any alerts about game start, runs scored or final score. I would also like to have some updates on NASCAR. I can select it as a favorite sport but nothing comes up about it on my feed. Lead changes would be doffing updates to get but at least show the race on the feed and have alerts on race start, stage completion/winner alerts, race end results.
Worse than competition for streaming

Compared to the ESPN app and the Fox Sports app there’s no competition. This app is always breaking when you’re trying to stream live sports, forcing you to close out and re-open the app. Now that wouldn’t be too bad if you weren’t then forced to watch a 30 second unskippable ad before jumping back in like there aren’t already enough ads on CBS already. Would be great if they could catch up to the competition and have a capable streaming app

Your app doesn’t update the standings when the ncaa tournament starts. This happens every year around tournament time. Shouldn’t be an issue year after year. Also, for the brackets, it would be nice to have an easier way to look at the groups picks for each game instead of looking at each individual bracket. Overall, I like it more than ESPN but those are some issues I have every year.

Too many commercials to slow everything is fantasy a lot of times all I’m interested in is news but I don’t like the idea of getting CBS and then having to get all the add-ons if you would just sell one premium and either take it or leave it at least there but there’s low winter high and we’re high end is what everybody wants. It’s a frustrating increase the cost of.

The default categories on the opening page now includes “picks” instead of “teams”. There is no way to change it either. I don’t care about sports betting - it preys on the financially insecure as well. Why the extra step to follow my teams?
Developer response states the obvious.
It is just promoting sports gambling at the inconvenience of real fans.
