The one thing I can say …

Is that it protects people from accessing your account. Unfortunately this includes you. Every single time I they to use this app, I end up having to reset my password. Every. Single. Goddamn. Time. I only use it on my iPad, which only I have access to. So after the third or so time I had to reset the password because they couldn’t find me, I started saving the login information so that it would auto populate. This shovel have solved the problem. Wrong. I should have known it all along. So then I try to manually enter my password, which I know because I specially wrote down. I enter it with normal typing speed. The app tells me to dine on a bag of phalluses. So then I have to reset. I try to reset it to the password that I thought it was and am told that I can’t use a recent password. Finally, after several more tries I finally get a new password. What should take fifteen seconds takes a good twenty minutes.

No way to stop scheduled transfer

I had high hopes when I downloaded this app but it’s not very intuitive. There is no way to stop scheduled transfers. I had to spend 30 minutes on a cal with customer service, authenticate myself and then finally was able to get someone to turn off a weekly scheduled transfer. I asked the CS agent to help me find a way to cancel a scheduled transfer in the all next time this happens. He directed me to “manage” option that simply doesn’t exist for me. He said I must always call CS to cancel these transfers. I checked and my app is the latest version I work in fintech and this is truly a huge usability issue and really annoying. Figure it out.

I decided to use my mileage that I had saved on sapphire credit card through Chase. Sasha helped me get a plane ticket from Phoenix Arizona to Kansas City, and then she helped me use my mileage to get from Kansas City to Houston, then from Houston back to PHX. Sasha looked for the best flights for me, time, days, everything, she was absolutely fantastic, I could not have done it without her! So I’m very thankful that I had Chase credit card and I am glad that Sasha helped me out through Chase and my sapphire credit card. I have been with Chase-Bank One here in Az for 19 years and 10 years in Cleveland. I think Chase is Awesome!
Worst ever experience with customer service

Was working on 2022 taxes when I sought spending summary for credit card for 2022. I followed the instructions on the website to no avail. It turns out that if your card expired during the year, you can’t get it online. Problem is website doesn’t mention this. It took 5 cs reps to learn the information. They finally said they would mail it to me in 7-10 days! When I asked them to email it, I was told that wasn’t possible. Spent 1.5-2 hours trying to figure out this mess. I’m usually very happy with Chase but not this time.

This app used to let me update when it was convenient for me, which I loved. Tonight I just wanted to make a quick payment and I found that they have resorted to the anhorrent practice of forcing customers to update the app before we can use it. This is really bad. Just stop doing this, let US update when it is convenient, not when YOU decide we should. ONE star. I would give it zero if I could. Very dissatisfied customer here. Edit 3/21/23 still forcing me to update before I can use it. Too many updates. Zero stars.
Could have been better

Every time there is a so called update, it turns out to be a downgrade. Two stars taken away for the stupid popup crap. Especially when the app is updated. When I log in, I want to do banking stuff, not wade through all the stupid and irrelevant popup crap that should NOT be there. Also loose a star for making it so difficult to print. I need to print payment statements and there is no print. Printing IS a must and needs to be right there on the confirmation screen.
OK app but poor update process

I don’t find much differentiation between financial service companies in Chase app—it does what it does in an OK sort of way. But I do not like apps that force an update on you like this one does. It’s understandable if there’s a fix for open security issue but this app makes me upgrade too often for that to always be the case. Sometimes I just want to see a transaction and end up spending 5+ minutes in the App Store, etc.
FRAUD on my accounts

My checking acct and saving were hacked Was told my debit card was used How could that be My debt card NEVER was given to anyone and card was ALWAYS in my wallet transactions were made at branch on Congress I was never at this location!!! Knowing this Chase said it was me and was refused access to see tape ! Bottom line … my money was never recouped I am innocent and my money was stolen
Kind of a mess

Not a fan of this app right now. It seems to have gotten less intuitive to use, causing more clicks just to get to a simple interaction. And don’t get me started on the “AI” help window. It’s dumber than a message board monitored by drunken ferrets. Combine all that with the almost negative interest rates, and Chase is not very enticing as a bank anymore. Kind of a sad mess.
