I downloaded this game because the ads made it look fun. However, upon downloading, I drew the conclusion that the app is simply a fish for ad revenue. Obviously, apps must make ad revenue, but the developers over this game have prioritized ad revenue over the quality of the gameplay. To start, the sheer number of ads is excessive. Ads make up more time than actual gameplay. Another issue I had is that I didn’t play the game long, but from my observations, there is no reason that the game should require an internet connection, but it does. Overwhelmed by the ads, I sought peace by turning on airplane mode. This was without triumph, as the game refused to work without an internet connection. This leads me believe that it requires an internet connection solely to keep generating ad revenue. The last straw in the ad frenzy that led me to delete the app was the “auction” process. Plenty of creative games have auctions for you to make game currency with your work, and they all function like real auctions in which the bids increase, you know, like a real auction in the real world. This is not the case with Coloring Match. In Coloring Match, you’re presented with 3 “offers.” You can only view one offer at a time, and in order to view the next offer, you have to entirely decline the one before it. This is where the ad-fishing comes in. In order to get the highest price for your auction item, you have to watch—you guessed it—an ad. I really wish this app wasn’t just an ad reel, as the gameplay is genuinely fun and the concept is great. I’m hoping I can find another game like it that doesn’t make me want to throw my phone at the developers.
This app is literally unplayable because of how many ads there are, I understand that they need to make money, but don’t put THIS many that I can’t even play the game for 10 seconds without getting an ad. And if your thinking “oh I’ll just put my phone on airplane mode” that won’t even work. There’s so many ads that it doesn’t even let you play without WiFi, it just tells you to connect to WiFi in order to play this stupid game, so if you’re looking for a good game to play on road trips or planes, then do not download this app. Now, about the game itself; it’s repetitive, boring, and glitchy. I played this game for 5 minutes and immediately got bored, it basically just makes you do the exact same thing over and over again. It’s also extremely glitchy, whenever I tried to move the paintbrush it kept freezing, and adding random colors that I didn’t add. Overall, this game is crap and I don’t recommend wasting your time on it, there’s so many other free games out there that are WAYY better then this.
This game makes me so mad. I love the concept and would have loved to advance. And the amount of ads are insane so I paid the 3$ for the add free version so I could enjoy the game. Well it was completely pointless.
After I purchased the ad free, the amount of coins required to advance went up by 2,000 each round. And the highest amount of coins you typically get for each round is around 1200-1800, but you can watch a 45 second ad to double the coins. Meaning literally the only way to advance at this point, is to watch the ads. What is the point of paying for an ad free game when you’re forced to watch ads in order to advance?
Great concept, terrible execution. The entire focus of the app is to make money and you’re screwing people over. Definitely would not recommend, I’ve never been so irritated over 3$ before lol.
So, the concept of the game is pretty cool. You have to mix paints together to get the matching color of an item and then you paint a model of the item and sell it. Basic. Now, when first seeing this game I thought it would be pretty fun despite how poorly they played the game in their ads, and it was a fun game. However, there is way too many ads. Of course they need ads to make money, but for how poor quality of a game this is there are ads after literally everything. “Do you want to watch an ad for more auctions?” No, thanks, but you’re going to still give me one anyway. There’s also this annoying ad bubble that is there next to the paints and when you select a paint there’s a chance that you’ll have to watch an ad. Could be a fun game, but too many ads.
The reviews about ads are completely true. And in truth, these reviews about ads aren’t exaggerated enough. The game is literally unplayable.
About the game. I enjoyed it when I could play it. At some point during the game, the price of upgrades starts increasing after every round. The current upgrade I was on before deleting the game started at 20k. When I deleted the game the same upgrade was up to 30k. So unless you watch more ads to double your money you will never be able to purchase this upgrade as it increase by $1,000 each round.
It not bad enough to be forced to watch 3-4 upgrades per round. But to catch up in the chase of the increasing prices you have to watch more ads to double your money.
The game itself is silly and the graphics are not good quality at all. The color matching is relaxing but the overall purpose is just dumb. I gave in and purchased for no ads but there’s still ads. Not as many but there shouldn’t be any. The ad that appears blocks a solid corner of the game and every time you finish a “level” there’s an ability to get more coins and more brushes and whatnot but you have to watch ads, even though I paid for no ads. Make it make sense! Purchasing the no-ads is 100% regrettable. I should have just deleted the thing but now I’m keeping it for spite. I don’t get the good reviews at all. Don’t bother with this thing and definitely don’t purchase for no ads.
This is an OKAY game, if your okay with false advertising. The advertising for this game isn’t what the game looks and plays. It lags a lot and shows ads after every auction and color mixing and spray painting. You don’t get different brushes and nails and food. It has only food for me. I personally don’t enjoy the game to its full potential. Get this game if you want, but don’t say I didn’t warn you...data used to track you identifiers, user dated data linked to you purchase, identifiers, location, usage data, user contact, diagnosi well hope you game makers don’t mind me outing out the truth
If I find a game that I like and it has too much ads usually turn off any source of Internet or Wi-Fi and then the ads go away but then there’s some games that don’t allow you to play them unless you have the Internet on. These are one of those games. I do like the game but there are actually so much ads that you can barely enjoy the game for longer than a level.I would even still play this game if there was say and ad after a level but, no it’s after every step in the game which gets to be too much.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Ad every two seconds, even in the middle of painting. It's ridiculous really. I know for a fact they don't need that many ads, greed is the mother of all sin. I truly hope the devs read this and feel ashamed, but I know they won't. It's obvious that they don't care about the person downloading their app, they are fixated on themselves.
