This version of DBD is awesome. It’s just like the PC/Console versions but now mobile. There are only a few issues thus far. 1) no known controller support, I will test it later, but I don’t see settings for that option. I suppose this definitely levels the field on fairness, though. 2) it keeps saying there’s an issue connecting to a lobby and after waiting over a minute each time, that’s a little frustrating. For many this could be game breaking, so this needs to be addressed ASAP. 3) It has a gacha system, which doesn’t truly effect gameplay at all, and they at least admit it straight to your face that’s it’s gacha because it says so in the title. Everything else seems to be unlocked like normal and fair, but these systems are dumb. It’s not even like other gacha systems where if you spend enough you unlock the items, this one you get 6 cards, and you can only choose 3 of them before they’re shuffled again.
Edit: dropped it to three stars. Honestly it’s pretty laggy. Sometimes it’s great and runs smooth, but sometimes it is pretty awful. I play on an 2022 iPad Pro, so it’s got plenty of power to run the game smoothly. It’s the worst when you’re a killed and it’s already difficult to smack people using a touch screen, and frame drops just make the experience extremely frustrating. It CAN be dope and seem less, but it also CAN be absolutely ridiculous

the game has improved from the older version. they’ve implemented some cool stuff. i currently have a gripe where it kicks me out when i try to join a match, killer OR survivor. i’ll wait, i’m about to enter a lobby when it just kicks me back to the main screen due to an “error”. not sure what this is about, but it’s pretty annoying especially after waiting so long for a killer match. some jungle gyms are way too safe with them spawning TWO pallets on each side, pretty crazy. too few maps, though i’m sure we’ll be seeing more in the future (hopefully). characters i paid for, licensed and some non licensed like mikaela are gone. that’s pretty disappointing. got compensated by the game (in shards, not auric cells) but still pretty sad. some good stuff and some bad stuff, but if the app keeps improving i will be happier. please devs, try to bring back the licensed characters that are gone. i don’t understand why the non licensed ones had to go? also my pig lost her outfits? why keep pig but remove her outfits? weird decision making. anyway, please try to add more characters. need a bigger roster of killers and survivors.

I had a lot of stuff in the last dbd mobile and now it’s gone I spent a lot of money and now it’s gone. I read the teachable perks on the characters and all said that you may unlock at certain levels. It’s not giving me a definitive answer to as if I will definitely unlock those teachable perks so that I can combine them with my favorite characters. I think bring the blood web from console version so that I can choose what perks I want would have been a awesome power move. But if you can’t do anything like that then at least make the game so that when you max out a character you can equip those teachable perks with other characters. If you don’t do this this game ain’t going to fly. I have already lost a lot of money because of the new version that can out the least that can be done is to give out the choice of making combos with teachable perks. That’s why I gave 1 star I would have given it less if I could.

Vengo del DBD anterior, despues del traslado pues me costo un poco adaptarme, las recompensas que dieron me animaron a jugar un monton y la verdad es que el juego mejoro en algunos aspectos graficos, jugabilidad son iguales. Solo tuve problemas con los killers que habia comprado como, Demogorgon, Pin Head, entre otros. Aunque eso no va mi reseña, me voy por el lado tecnico, y es que al parecer al trasladar los killer y supervivientes a este DBD las ventajas no se desbloquean teniendo si o si subir el prestigio para desbloquearlas, siendo esto imposible si tengo algunos personajes importantes prestigio III. Espero que puedan ayudarme con este tema por que imagino que no soy el unico y agradezco su esfuerzo, llevo siendo parte de la comunidad desde hace 1 año y este es un juego que me encanta y me queda mucho por disfrutar, espero que el que lea esto tenga un buen dia y pueda notificar mi problema, gracias.

I played the game on Xbox for a straight 7 months and got really good at it where to I played every day and grinded like crazy. I stopped playing when they ruined the game by nerfing dead hard to where it’s literally useless and a lot of other survivor perks are also not good anymore. This makes the game killer sided and it’s hard to play on console and pc now. Here on iPhone not so much. It’s very hard to play killer meanwhile it’s a piece of cake to play survivor. The game is fun but not scary and it just takes practice to be good at it. Looping the killer is the most fun part of the game imo. It’s a 4/5 stars for me because it’s not what it used to be and it’s hard to choose the right perks now. But at the end of the day it’s still fun

So I’ve played dead by daylight mobile since I discovered it 3 yrs ago,while bored of call of duty mobile and let me tell you this game is sooooooo much better now than what it use to be and by the way I found out about this game in the mobile version so when I found out it was out for Xbox pc and PlayStation I was stocked I played it on my Xbox series S and let me tell you I honestly prefer the mobile version a lot more, for returning players that spent money for characters and costumes you won’t get all your Items back but they re-compensate with cells, honestly love this game been waiting a while for this update ! I’m here to update my review I would like to be able to use my backbone with dead by daylight
Huge problem with the hitbox of survivors

Hello, dear developers! I have a question, and from a thousand players too, what about the hitbox of survivors? Why does the Maniac hit a survivor from a kilometer away? Now for the survivors to play as unrealistic as possible, to run away from the maniac, unrealistic, it is in any case catches up with him, and gives you a poke, to dodge a blow just by itself, just impossible, update with gameplay is simply disgusting. And I'm sure that you to my question, as a thousand of the same question you will not answer. Praise here will not, only write out a criticism, the graphics, and the interface is fine, but the gameplay is just awful, the desire to play for the survivors just no. I hope for your fix.
There’s patch to fix crazy hitboxes?

Game’s okay - new graphics better, new chapter and social features are cool, but why you aren’t fixing hitboxes? They are ruining game, because one match I saw with my ping 20 ms a killer who was hitting survivors from miles away. I mean he was really far from survivor he was hitting.
And killers can hit you through pallets after you dropped it, soooo… If you new player just wait out some time until they release patch to fix this.
Overall - Hitboxes are broken.
If you new player, please wait until new patch there whey fix it.
Devs - please fix this, game is literally broken.
P.S: I forgot to mention old dbd balance - 1 hook mori, old hatches, old perks and etc…

Games like these usually run kinda slow on mobile but this one actually runs pretty good! The graphics are also great considering they’re on the phone. It’s also very user friendly so whether you’re new or have played it before, you’ll easily get the hang of the controls. Overall, it’s a great alternative when you’re not with your pc or console. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because matchmaking always has a few errors and I’ve tried it on different networks and settings. You have to give it a couple tries before you can get into a match but that’s a minor detail for me.

The game is pretty laggy. I can’t even move my camera without freezing left and right. It’s obviously not going to be exactly like the one on console or pc but it could be more like it in the aspects of items and blood webs. For instance during a match when a item has been fully used you lose it whereas in the game on console when it’s charges have been fully depleted you don’t lose the item unless you die during the match. I like the game there are just some aspects that should be made more like the original version on console and pc and the laggy camera should be fixed as well.
