Most eBay Sellers ,should sell their items also outside of the continental states . Sometimes I frustrated when I see that an item that I like to bought ,the Seller do not want to send or sell it to Puerto Rico ,USA . I can not understand that, since PR is a territory that is part of the USA . That should be improved to have more sellers selling their products or items to PR ,Alaska and Hawaii ,in others words, should sell their advertised e Bay items always to a territory or states of USA that are locate outside of the Continental United States .In my opinion is a form of discrimination not selling and sending e Bay selling items to the equal American rights of these USA territory and of those 2 States ,especially when I see that the most great volume of products or eBay selling items advertised , the eBay sellers always inform that they do not sell It’s or send it’s to Puerto Rico,USA , Hawái USA and Alaska USA. In my opinion eBay should take an action in order to eliminate this action of discrimination of this sellers ,that always inform that they do not send their selling items to Puerto Rico, USA , Hawaii USA and Alaska USA.which have the same Constitutional rights ,that have all the others USA continental States.
Wow. It's the wild wild west on eBay. If you are a buyer you are mostly protected but you will still waste so much of your valuable time dealing with customer service due to bad sellers if you are a frequent buyer on here.
If you are a seller good luck. Just plan on hiking all of your prices at least 15% to compensate for losses from dishonest sellers. At least selling electronics and electronic repair parts. Then you are less competitive and your earnings decrease even more.
Or you can take the approach not to give into the buyers demands when they are clearly lying and offer zero evidence to back their claims about defective, broken, missing, etc. items. It doesn't matter how much proof you offer eBay will not overturn feedback from a blatantly dishonest seller when they hit you with negative feedback for not giving into their lies. And that feedback hurts where it counts. In your bank account. And you can't even leave the buyer negative feedback.
So pick your poison sellers. eBay is just going to keep on doing what earns them the most in the short term. They are just going to continue losing more and more good buyers and sellers. It's bad now but it keeps getting worse.
I don’t know how people see eBay a good sales source when the majority of you purchases or listing add up more than what you make, also eBay has an issue with sale saving earns. For example if I list an item or changes the orders of the item purchased will not remove that sale you made so basically if you sold an item for 1000$ but then return was made the total money from 90 day total will not be removed making your monthly invoice double
(400-600$) the pay due to your total sales making you lose what you earned... also their return orders are so poor people can scam if new comers don’t look at a hacked or scammer account with it without feedback, if I haven’t received an item or demand a return some will have to respond by the end of a specific date which if they respond you basically lost money due to the return claim already managed & when it comes to contacting eBay it’s like contacting a company that doesn’t exist globally but on a website that wants to act like a help section page.... eBay also finesse you with sales including taxes on shipping when most orders of shipping is free -_-
Wow eBay used to be fantastic. I was able
To buy sell
Without hassles, now they want everything to be done within their app and I’m sorry to say the infrastructure isn’t quite there yet. They want to take all the fees both PayPal and eBay and keep them for themselves. On top of older users unable to withdraw funds from their accounts.
Also buyer protections have gone to far. The other week I had a buyer buy a used item he claimed item not as described I asked what was wrong as I am a meticulous seller and ensure everything is taken care of prior to shipping he said he won’t even test it because it looks disassembled I clarified the item was marked as used I took it apart to ensure no dust or debris was inside so the life of the product could be extended. I asked if he could please test the item as I purchased insurance, he did not and continued to claim item not as described forcing me to lose both ways in shipping. Absolute bull/s!
I am done with eBay. I pulled all my sales and I cannot get any of my money out of the new system
My credit card works for everting but eBay I pay bills with it I go through that thing where says to put it pack on file and it still doesn’t work. It works everywhere but eBay. If for some reason it doe work I get something I didn’t order and if got something I have to go to purchases and maybe I see it there. I have push the item just to see. A lady lowered the price on an item and I had to tell her as much as I wanted it I couldn’t that if I get it I would gladly sent it back. She said she’s heard that all day. I’ve spent ALOT OF MONEY HERE I mean ALOT and this is the way I’m treated. I sent a message to the people I was supposed to and heard nothing. So I guess I’m going to give my business to amazon since don’t care. I’m 50 and I get all my vitamins which is a lot my Dr suggested for me to get them from eBay because they were cheaper so thanks a lot guys I get to spend money I don’t have.
The eBay app works fine except for the one MAJOR MISTAKE this app which seems to have been coded out of a garage by a 3 year old does not show shipping costs on items!!! This may seem minor but the basement trolls who sell on eBay like to but a low cost but then jack it up right at the end of the auction!!! But this stupid app does not seem to have the technology to update!!! There is one SIMPLE fix to this first of all you can make it that prices can’t be changed, which is a obvious no-brainer but the dum-dums down at eBay like the brainpower to realize that changing a price is bad! Second of all you can make it that the seller has to pay for shipping. This is not an auction site, this is a breeding ground for internet trolls wanting to steal your money! This is why I will NEVER purchase something from eBay EVER AGAIN so a word of warning to any buying from this ridiculous sight!!!!
Please add a way to report bugs or problems with the app. For example could you please get the expired offers OFF of the “active” bids and offers screen and into the “didn’t win” section instead? I can barely tell what I am bidding on for all the expired stuff clogging the screen. This is a relatively new glitch but a highly annoying one that I can’t figure out a way to report outside of this review which is really not the right format but it’s all I have.
I have another feature request as well; the ability to flag sellers as someone you don’t want to do business with again. This would not keep their items out of search results but would merely replace the “a seller you’ve bought from” notation on each items’ page with “a seller you’ve flagged.”
Thanks and please fix the glitch.
Few months ago, they updated the app and broke it so horribly, it’s hardly usable. Made it extra difficult to contact seller and initiate/track returns. Contacting support is nonexistent and they turned off Apple keyboard when doing that so no auto correct there.
Every time I open the app I run into errors and issues that were never there before. I used this app for years, now I always look to other stores before buying on eBay, because this app makes it so crazy inconvenient should there be any issues with the purchase.
Can’t stress enough just how incredibly buggy this app is. Doesn’t make me feel secure about my purchases at all with this level of coding incompetence and lack of support.
The updated terms for sellers is ridiculous! I’m not providing my social number to sell a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff. The risk isn’t even debatable or worth considering. Every company and their mom seems to get hacked nowadays, so what makes eBay think they are different and that we should trust them with our personal information? Anything connected to the internet can be hacked. eBay should’ve just stuck with PayPal instead of dealing with financial records themselves. It’s infuriating me just thinking about it. What a shame. I used to love using this service. I’m selling elsewhere. People, don’t trust anything with “safekeeping” your personal information!
what ive seen ebay is cheaper but it does not have
any control over whats selling people selling like
items that are overpriced or not the deciving items that confuses on what are you buying and people that scalpes items for double or even triple the money and ebay is okay with it the situasion with the ps5 being avalable on online and limited between chrismas people that got more than 3 consoles and ebay is alowing this scalpers who uses bots so nobody has the ps5 and if it wasent for ebay not giving warnings or penalties to this scamers nobody will not have money for the holiday theres more examples but this is the best example of this irresponsibility
