False Advertising & Pay To Win = Quick Uninstall
Proizklutch on 2021-06-15
I started this game because in the advertisements it looks just like the way you battle in Pokemon. 1 vs 1 monsters and you have 4 moves to use. But that's not how the game plays at all. It's more akin to the older Final Fantasy games where you have squads fighting one another with reserves if any of your units die. Why don't games advertise their actual gameplay anymore? It's also got a very weird obsession with massive breasts. Not only are you fighting using monsters but human and humanoid heroes too. Most of them are females with a lot of cleavage as if the people designing these characters have never seen a real woman before (let alone a young girl that these all seem to be modeled after). As others have said, this game is mainly a pay to win game. You get rewarded very little premium currency to do summons for better units (as you're never going to find any good ones in the wild to catch) and when you do have enough you probably don't get anything good anyway unless you're paying for it in which case you can roll the dice as much as you'd like. A quick uninstall for me, any game that falsely advertises it's gameplay automatically gets that treatment these days. Hope this review helps someone on the fence about downloading this.
Free to Play? More Like Pay to Win
U just got killed on 2021-06-15
First off, I downloaded this game because I stumbled upon an ad on YouTube informing me this game had a Pokemon-based RPG concept. OH, BOY, was I mistaken? Indeed! You were able to catch these monsters at the beginning of the game, but that completely stops once you finish the offline story (It takes one day to complete), so not only are they false advertising but also inflating everything in the game so free to play players like myself are limited when trying to grind. The game's GACHA system is also a complete mess as you only have a .067 chance to get a super rare character. Speaking of GACHA, getting these crystals requires mana to do quests, and each quest costs 30-80 mana which is absurd because the max amount of mana we are given is only at an all-time low of 300. That's not even the worse of it the time it takes for your mana to regenerate is at a rate of 1 mana per 3 minutes, meaning it'll take approximately 15 hours for you to get a full bar again. Now think, guys... if we need these crystals to operate the gacha system and these quests are close to impossible without having good characters is it really worth it to grind? the answers no. Don’t waste your time playing this stupid game unless you want to wait a month for you to pull a rare character.

Do not be fooled, this is a summon/gacha game just like any other accept they make you pay for this one lol, they dress it up to look like a regular Pokémon/final fantasy game but with all the predatory practices of other pay to play/win games. I’ve began to wonder how many people this company paid for these bull crap reviews lol. This game is not nearly the godsend of phone games that some of these reviews are suggesting. For one this game isn’t even balanced, don’t expect to get far without amazing pulls or grinding your life away. For comparison this game is a bigger grind then most final fantasy grinds. The drop rates are horrible, for the few months I’ve had this downloaded I’ve never got a 5*. The main character is a non customizable Mary Sue type and the story is about as cliche’d as it gets.. insert ancient evil, now a teenager with inexplicable godlike powers conveniently appears, blah blah blah. All in all this game was a huge waste even if it was only $1 Update: forgot I already tried this game and sure enough everything a said back then still rings true today, except now they’ve taken to over sexualizing every single female character (even the ‘underage’ ones). This game, it’s developers, and it’s player base absolutely disgust me..
Just another paywall greed game
tar1111111 on 2021-06-15
Game is fun at first, but like a lot of games these days you hit a wall and cannot progress unless you shell out ridiculous fees for meager in game rewards. I have nothing wrong with supporting the devs and the time it takes to make and support games. I however do not believe spending $40 - $70 for meager packs that can be earner with a few hours of game play. The devs seriously need to recheck their pay structure as it is ludicrous. Really too bad, because the game starts out nice. The offline game play is fun. However the online gameplay is more rewarding, you have to use mana to play it though. And yes, you either wait every three minutes for 1 mana to recharge when you consume 36 mana in one action! So whoever developed the game, kudos to you! Whoever is managing the game specifically the greed side, needs to be fired! Or you can wait till everyone realizes who and what this game is and deletes it like all the other paywall games!
This should be five.

So to start... I couldn’t actually play the game because every time I beat **The Pandoenim** I crashed; so I tried again and it made me go ALL THE WAY BACK (To the beginning) even after I SAVED! So I did it again (& SAVED AGAIN) And I crashed early then before; so I thought **Oh yeah ok so I probably have to many apps and this needs more space...** so I deleted ALL OF MY APPS FOR THIS STUPID GAME! SO DEVELOPERS PLZ PLZ PLZZZZZZ MAKE IT COST LESS SPACE ! Also I still did not have space even after deleting all of my other apps. DONT DOWNLOAD IT WILL WRECK YOUR ROBLOX AND DRAGONCITY! (My two favorite apps... and all my other apps oh yeah and my photos.) And I really hate writing reviews but when it’s THIS bad/good I have to. (This one is VERY VERY BAD) P.S Sry it was so long.
I hate it

It is unfathomable how good rating this game is when it just pay to win like all the other games out there every multi summon 4-5$ BAD and pay to winners basically rule this rip off of Pokémon platform and the people writing reviews on how good this game is Must be 1 a pay to winner 2 an absolute idiot 3 Using there mom’s credit card or 4 Insallnley rich or finnaly 5. a bot and I believe it is 1 4 and 5 because I feel like your making bots to get better reviews so more wasteful people spend insane amounts of money to win your pay to win based game.So DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT IS NOT WORTH IT! also For a game like this I DO MOT SUGGEST TO 12 YEAR OLD because this pornographic idiots think this is recommended for 12 year olds but probably they won’t play for long unless their creeps
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I used to be a very avid player of this game. I don’t actually usually review games but after the recent ads I’ve been seeing of this game, after not playing it for a few long months… I just needed to. I am disappointed with the developers and marketing team. This used to be a very decent game. Beautiful I might even say. Charming. Great story and everything, even if it’s a little hard. But this clickbait BS… The new ads where you’re stealing assets from a dominators and passing them off as monsters that aren’t even in your game? The boobs? You actually have a decent game, resorting to this advertising is just… so, so sad. I thought you were better than this. Safe to say, I think I’m done with evertale for good. I hope the boobies get you your money, or whatever.
Fix Online Story/Mana
Rasenth on 2021-06-15
I really love the offline story and have never had an big issue with the mana requirement for events. That was until I finished the offline story and it switched to an online story that was no longer free roaming and requires a lot of mana to play. The mana consumption means you can only play a little at a time and the lack of free roaming and no longer needing to catch monsters really ruined a lot of the fun for me. I played this game a long time ago and stopped playing because of this. I came back recently and it’s still an issue. Having read the comments a lot of people agree with me so it really just seems like the developers of the game don’t care. This game is absolutely amazing and has so much potential to grow if they would just fix a couple problems.
Game is incredible but…
Deathoniii on 2021-06-15
The game is absolutely phenomenal. The story, while a touch generic, is pretty interesting. The characters are fun. Where is really shines, however, are the battle mechanics. They have to be the most creative way I’ve ever seen turn based combat implemented into a game. The paid currency is also earned in game at a reasonable pace, so while you can gain more by paying, you are not forced to. Now for the but. The ads are absolutely terrible. They make Evertale look like a blatant rip-off of Pokémon. I nearly did not get this game because of them, but once I relented I found it to be much different and much better than I was expecting. So devs, you deserve a big raise! Coders, writers, artists, and everyone else! Advertisers, please just stop.
Warning Paid soulstones used first
Notewriter Josiah on 2021-06-15
I did not notice any warnings that paid soulstones would be used first for non paid soulstones banners, until I noticed my paid soulstones were zero after summoning, no confirmation screen saying paid would be used (nor did I see a way to differentiate between paid soulstones held and non paid) I was planning on discounted daily purchases for beginner SSR character, but now I feel taken advantage of with a counterintuitive system I haven’t experienced on any other game. If you click on your soulstones from the summon menu (nowhere else) it says note: paid soulstones will be used first. This is crazy without so much as a confirmation of how many paid soulstones you have and will be using. I was enjoying the game until this sucker punch ‍♂️
