I had this app for a few weeks and was trying to get enough points to get a $25 gift card from amazon and I was almost there, I had about 22000 points when all of a sudden my account was suspended out of nowhere. I was in shock. I contacted support via email which is the only way to contact them unfortunately and their response was that they had evidence the receipts I uploaded weren’t mine. Now even if they weren’t mine (which they 100% were mine) then how would they even know they weren’t mine and even if so why would that even matter?? I mean really think about it. How do they even determine and regulate such a thing? Anyways I was confused as all heck, this made no sense to me, so I responded to them asking for clarification as to what they meant, and how they had proof (evidence) of the few receipts I uploaded not being mine. They WOULD NOT answer my simple question. Their response was so shady, it frustrated me so badly, over a dumb receipt to rewards app. They just said my account can not be reactivated not explaining to me what I did wrong and why they assumed my receipts weren’t mine! I sent another few emails asking for a response, some explanation, anything. They still haven’t responded and it’s been almost three weeks, this company is pathetic, sad, and terrible at customer service. They’re, crooks, liars, and cheaters.. literally. What’s even funnier is I did research on them and even found out they PAY for their reviews, can you believe that? They pay for false credibility. A lot of companies do that now a days it’s crazy and pathetic . I still can’t figure out what their overall motive is, makes absolutely no sense. Either way I’m over it. I know it sounds ridiculous to get riled up over a few receipts and some petty reward points, but to me it’s the principal of how they handle things with their customers. Completely unprofessional and unethical to say the least. Trust me there’s much better apps out there that are honest and offer much better rewards. Just do your research. I never even write reviews but I felt compelled to so that I may possibly save a few people from wasting their time, efforts, receipts, and hopes at trying to be rewarded a few bonus points from an app that’s more crooked then Al Capones henchmen. Good riddance.
The update is not allowing me to scan any receipts! It keeps saying the receipt scanning is unavailable. Any idea what is going on? Reached to support but nothing yet!
So, support reached out to me and gave the spiel about the 14 receipts etc... as you did! I know this and that is not the issue! It is coming up with an ERROR, not a notification of hitting the limit of receipts. A referral of mine was having the same issue and her 1st email from support stated the developers are aware of the issue and try to delete and reinstall. We both tried. Did not work. How can I reach someone that is really going to listen. My friend has completely deleted as she is so frustrated.
Update: Not sure why none of the customer/developers knew what I was talking about, but the app started working several days later. All is good in Fetch world!
I like to use Walmart Pay in-store when buying groceries - but when doing that, I don’t get a receipt printed at check-out, and I don’t see any way to submit my virtual receipt from my device. Can you not update your app to do that? For now, I carry a roll of pennies in my car, and I use one of them each time when paying out my order, then I pay the remainder of the order with Walmart Pay, and this way the register prints me a paper receipt that I can then scan on this app. But it is a pain in the rear and would be much easier if I could just use my phone to pay with Walmart Pay only and then just attach a pic of my receipt from the Walmart app over to this app.
I have used several apps that makes their site appear to be extravagant and to be the best one out there but when it’s all said and done it is most likely either a scam or a way to obtain your personal information and have standards that are way too high for the average lower class families and almost impossible for even the middle class as well. Fetch Rewards is by far the absolute best app ever and the best part of it all is, it’s legitimate and you actually receive your earned rewards. I recommend everyone who is in to this sort of thing get it and register to start earning today!
made an account with this app one time and scanned a bunch of receipts for stores that they said they offered points for, and every time it said “we don’t currently offer points towards this brand or establishment” or something like that, so i deleted the app. downloaded it again the other day and tried to make a new account with my new email since the email i made my first account with i don’t use anymore, and it said that i couldn’t make “more than one account” so i tried logging in with my old email and it said there was an error. hate this app, and never will download it again.
Acquired over 4k points that seem to have expired, and without any warning, which is a pretty big let down. As a company, you may want to consider providing communication to your users on things like this. Also seems to be a limited number of receipts that can be uploaded within a set timeframe, which isn’t shared on the upfront, and was learned via pop up message. Deleting this app due to no/poorly relayed explanation of “benefits” and sneaky limitations etc. Feeling used for the consumer insights I’ve provided to this company up to this point.
It’s a great app honestly it is and doesn’t scam but the fact is I could waste hundreds or thousands of dollars and only get around 25 to 100 points. I feel like if you spend more you should be rewarded more than a minor 25, 100 or 500. If you waste 10$ yes I think it’s fine to give 25 points but 100 or 100? That seems abit dumb. This is just a suggestion to change the point system. I used around 6k and only got basically 3000 points. That seems like a lot but it really isn’t. If you improve the point system it would be better in my opinion.
My mom uses this app and I just got my first summer job and that allowed me to buy some of my own things from the store. By using this app I would submit my receipts and I can get gift cards for things I’d enjoy. I used to think this type of app was just for moms and stuff but with gift cards for amazon, American eagle, iTunes, and lots of restaurants I realized this is an easy way to get stuff I could use also. And it makes easy money for Christmas gifts
When I say you earn money... I mean you EARN money FAST!!! Just as fast as you spend it in things you already buy you are racking up gift cards at multiple places!!! You don’t have to check sizes or brands not making sure you buy enough in quantity !!! It’s the best app ever!!! Hands down !! I was suspicious At first I have done them all!!! This one I tell everyone about!!! Must Do!!! Enjoy your rewards!!! No Regrets!!
I downloaded this app because a friend recommended it to me and I started racking up points for rewards, as soon as I tried using my points this security audit came up and would not let me redeem my points. It said to wait 48 hours so I did, when I tried again it still came up. I contacted them in every way and I’ve yet to get a response and they have not fixed it in “48 hours “
