This game can be a fun time waster, but it’s far more often impossible to even play it without clicking through an annoying amount of ads for various in-game events. I guess the game wasn’t designed for the casual few-minutes-at-a-time player. My problem is it won’t even let me log in without forcing me to go through a series of ads for this week’s in-game event, which I have no interest in playing since I just want to play through a couple levels while I kill a few minutes. So I end up closing the game automatically whenever a new ad for an in-game event pops up, since I know it’ll take longer to get through the annoying ads than I have time to invest in the game. Which means I only get to play it one day out of the week when it lets me go straight to the next level. I understand the game developers have to make their money somehow, but stopping people from playing doesn’t seem like a winning strategy. I’d much rather the occasional thirty-second ad-and-be-done-with-it that other games use. Maybe I should just delete the game. Clearly it isn’t designed for casual time-wasting fun.
I enjoy the game, but have a real issue with some of the puzzles. I’ve spent a fair amount of money and if you don’t finish a game within the allotted moves, it costs a good chunk of the jewels you buy to get 5 extra moves.
My main issue is with games that have the squids. I’ve have at least 3 of them where I had enough moves to beat the game, and even moved other pieces once or twice, but the final 1 or 2 squids don’t pop on the game until after your moves are up and it costs you 9 more jewels. The jewels are mostly what you buy. I have several screen shots that show 2 or 3 moves left and I’m moving but not getting final squids. Seems manipulated to make you have to buy those jewels.
As for the game itself, it is fun. I’d have given it 5 stars without the questionable timing. Just my opinion.
Levels get too difficult after awhile. Example:102 tiles, 4 pearls, and only 16 moves? Not to mention, the pearls are in a split screen, and in order to get to the split screen, one must clear the tiles that are boarded up, and it takes 3 moves just to clear a board! Then, each pearl requires at least 3 matches before it opens and releases. And that’s after you get to it from clearing the tiles, which are first white, then yellow, then it’s cleared. In 16 moves!!! It shouldn’t be this hard. Great game, but I too, will be quitting because it’s stops being fun. I don’t mind spending a bit of money here and there, but this is insane. 5 stars for how fun it can be, but zero stars (if I could) for how difficult it becomes UNLESS YOU SPEND LOTS OF MONEY.
Overall fun. But you will not win some games unless you spend money, or wait days on end to accumulate boosters. The instructions tell you to use strategy to win games instead of boosters. But in many cases this is simply impossible. You’ll notice that conveniently, very few of the available matches occur in places where they do any good. You’ll also notice that you’ll suddenly begin getting ahead when you only have two or three moves left. After several frustrating experiences, the game will give you the slightly-too-convenient option of purchasing boosters. And that is the point of the game.
It’s usually fun but if you watch the board you notice the subtle way things aren’t going as they should. The level I’m at now I have played on two different devices today. You need to stop ink from spreading and blow up concrete squares. I get all the concrete but there are still a few inks remaining. Problem is all the ink needed to win isn’t on the board. I’ll have 6 moves left with 6 inks. I get 5 inks and still have moves but the 6th remaining ink never shows so I lose. WHAT? Where was the last remaining ink? THIS! This is why I NEVER spend money to play apps.
The game is good but they add so many new things that I will close the game and then the next day they will just bombard you with so many things asking you to do stuff with all I wanna do is play the game. It is especially annoying when they do those events where you can play against players but you can’t do it because I have to skip through all the things telling me about all the new stuff and it just gets annoying and takes up time when I’m trying to play against people but otherwise the game is pretty good
I know ads are bogus, but I still give games a try here and there, and this one looked fun. They show the mini-game where you eat a fish smaller and then grow. That’s a fun little game, and I said what the heck, I’ll give it a shot. Never got to play that mini game, and the ones I did play get to a point where you can’t beat them without using their little in-game currency that costs real money. Yep, just another money-grabber. Game was boring, too.
I think the fish and things to buy and all that, but I wish there was more. The levels are pretty difficult, I wish we could put more fish in a single aquarium, and I wish there was more to do. Once I use all of my lives, I can’t do anything. Perhaps there should be another feature to do when you can’t continue on the levels. It’s not a bad game, but I think there is a lot of improvement that can be done. It has awesome potential.
They do not care. I had an issue where the game would not drop what I needed to finish the level. I spent over 100 gems so I would not loose my progress. I still lost it and support could care less because I didn’t record my game play. So they made someone who spent money on their game to someone who will not spend another cent because support doesn’t care!!!!!
The levels get harder and harder plus for some
You need power ups to complete then there’s how you have to get soooooo many gems for every little thing plus they just sent out an update for new minny games which they don’t have and to do literally anything you have to complete the levels!!!!!!! (Sorry about my grammar [I know it’s really bad])
