Luckily I’m not a fan of google for my business documents. I use gmail regularly for personal use but I use office products to conduct my businesses. I pay for space here as it’s made transferring photos and personal stuff a bit easier with compatibility on my iPhone. Apple is as bad as google but I literally cannot learn a new phone. Despite this, I just found out my cloud has had some weird connection to a student in the Middle East.
As I said prior, I am a Microsoft person, call me old school, but I’m a product of the 90s. I know how this works with these super convention “fee apps.” I know I’m the product and I know you make billions on my info, you’d think you could tell where I actually live and notify my of activity.
Whoever it was may have some unsavory pictures but thank goodness I wasn’t putting my business ventures into my google drive. Actually this might be the end of my google days and the Firefox and proton drive from now on. I’m all for the convenience but now that I can afford and understand better I’m going to disconnect from you big data people. Like, you'll literally listen to my conversations on my Alexa or w.e to target ad me and get every detail toy can for profit. You know where I live. Why the f*** is a student in the Middle East school account not warrant a warning?

I love working on the Google Drive and the fact that everyone in my team can work on the same files and see changes done at once is incredible.
Now with the pandemic, my personal life and my business have thrived mainly thanks to tools and platforms like yours. Thank you!
Question:
- When could you create a way to remove a person from all files and not one by one? It’s not only annoying but it has huge risks and even liability. We let go two people from my team last year and from time to time I still find their names in confidential files!
How can I find all the folders they have access to and remove them?

I absolutely love Google Drive. If my life could be kept in a box this is where it would be. They have always made my life simpler, and I always find myself coming back time and time again to this cloud storage option. I am someone who keeps copies of everything in my life so I need excessive storage space. They have always made sure I could access everything I need without ads popping up or asking for $$ so tried and true GOOGLE ALL THE WAY!

this app is outstanding if you own and ipad or an iphone, you can export movies and send links and allow who you want to view at any time, i recommend this to anyone, if you get lost or can’t figure it out google is always there to help walk you through, took me a few times to get it down ( i not a computer wiz by any means) but i do know some things and i find downloading this to access my google drive very very easy….enjoy
Love it but using storage has led to problems

So I love Google Drive. It’s been good to me lol but I upgraded to higher storage to upload pictures and videos and since using that, it’s been buffering. Before it was only an annoying buffering for like 30 seconds but now it’s stuck on buffering. So what’s the point of more storage if I can’t access anything anymore?
Once this is fixed, my review will be 5 stars.
File order

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but when I upload a folder that has files in it that need to be in order, they upload all randomly and mixed up. Like whatever uploads fastest gets to be first, which is not the order that it needs to be in for me. It’s really messed up when I’m trying to upload pages to a book.

We are a 9/11 related non-profit. Helping firefighters oversees since 2002. We are using Google drive for everything we need to share with brothers. We are really grateful that technology can be use for good of the people as is intended to be. Thanks Google you drive our world!
Constantly Freezes

I love this app and have been using it on my Mac, iPhone and iPad for years. But is now constantly freezing on the iPad and iPhone apps. I have to delete the app, and download it again. I have nearly 50GB used out of 100GB. I don’t know if the referencing is getting corrupted.

This group was able to graciously accommodate me when I emailed the day before. True to their promise they picked me up at the cruise pier, arranged a two tank dive experience and made everyone feel safe while enjoying a great day. The price was very reasonable in addition.
Days Waiting or never finishing

Don’t understand why it takes days for Google to process a video file before others can either download it or view it in a browser. Other systems I have used make the original file available immediately while doing alternate resolution conversations in the background.
