I’m getting a little sick of google censoring literally everything I do with their products… They’re not posting Business reviews or YouTube comments…Google shows you that they’re posted but in reality nobody else can see them. I have no idea why Google does this none of the comments/reviews are threatening or overly offensive, this is censorship in the United States of America. I realize there a private company and they have the right to do whatever they want with their products but the Internet can be considered as public domain and even necessary to exist in the modern world… from now on I’m going to be using another search engine and where I can limit the interaction I deal with Google products.
Google Maps used to be my default for a variety of map needs. But it keeps changing, and the advertising has gotten to an unacceptable point—when I searched for gas stations near me, it centered around and automatically selected a pin for a grocery store which had paid for an ad. (I repeated this multiple times to make sure it was not an error on my part.) That’s NOT what I was searching for, and some options for nearby gas stations were omitted. Add to this that Apple Maps gives smarter and more preferable direction commands, I see no reason to keep using Google maps except as a backup.
Bobby and his staff, including Tina, are absolutely amazing and professional. I rented a restroom trailer for my daughter’s wedding on 5/29/21. Bobby was on-site for the delivery. A few tree limbs needed to be cut for the proper fit of the trailer. Bobby was prepared for this task and took it upon himself to get the job done. Due to Covid, my daughters wedding had to be rescheduled 2x’s. Bobby attended every walkthru appt with the other hired vendors. The restroom was spotless and the on-site attendant was lovely!! Thank you, Bobby, for a job done!!!
They clearly don’t read any user feedback. The laundry list of issues with functionality is too long to list here. Takes way too many clicks to clear directions and enter new ones, defaults are non-customizable, search area switches to the horizontal list setting which does not stay in the designated area, names of roads, rivers, etc often not visible at any zoom, redundant direction i.e. keep left on the six lanes of freeway you are on to stay on that freeway. Many many more issues, and no support. Really terrible, only gets worse, not better
After traveling between Arizona, Utah, and Idaho over a weeks period, I noticed a pattern. The app directed you out and around the destination. On multiple occasions, we could have, or did, redirect to the fastest route.
The street(s) would show on the map, but you would be instructed several blocks away to then just return to your destination.
I am unsure if this is a tracking feature to collect more data, as Google is a free service paid through data and advertising, or if this is a flaw in the coding?
As the new owner of a pool I have a million questions. So many unexpected surprises and Sheldon has been there to answer them all for the past month and a half. He has also been great for the few times that he has been out to service the pool. I am sure that there will continue to be questions and I hope he doesn’t get sick of me as I continue to learn. He is officially added to my Christmas gift list. Thank you Sheldon!
I would never in million years recommend anyone use this company. They are dishonest, and customer service was deplorable!!! Still can’t anyone to respond to my concerns after multiple calls! They flat don’t care. It cost me over 2K to fix all there screwups. Please for your sanity don’t use these guys unless you have allot of $$$$&&$$$$ to throw away, and love poor customer service!!!
My experience at David’s bridal was honestly fantastic, starting by the sweet welcoming by Sandra, she is so sweet and welcoming. Ashley was my dress finder lol. She was fantastic, she found the dress I would fall in love with. I recommend her highly. She took the time to ask me what I liked and disliked, the price range I was wanting to stay. All I can say is she nailed it
Wanted to take mass transit to get to the zoo, and the top result had me get off the subway 4 stops early to take a Lyft — only indication that this was an advertisement was given after you opted into the directions and looked at the detailed itinerary. This was my favorite map app but i cannot abide by this craven and hollow method of advertisement.
Something changed over the last couple of months. Routing is wrong. Takes you thru the backside of shopping centers and apartment complexes parking lots! Also there is a problem connecting to the Google servers. Constantly told I have poor internet performance on searches which fail. Have now deleted that app and reverting to Apple’s Maps and Waze.
