Beautiful Game

Unfortunately I haven’t purchased the full version... YET, but I have spent 4 hours on the demo level which is HUGE! I love the open world aspect. I’m excited to explore the next maps and discover all there is. I also love the controls/gameplay. Creating your on pathway down a mountain is my favorite thing to do in this game. I enjoy switching between snowboard/skiing. To make it better: -I would love to see real 180’s, both skiing and snowboarding. It’s kinda annoying that I can’t land switch stance on a snowboard, and I think it would be cool to land backwards on skis. -a session marker would be ideal. I love the rewind button and if I had to pick only one I pick rewind, but it would be nice to drop a marker after I spend 5 minutes scaling a mountain and testing a specific approach. - I like being able to watch my replays after a challenge. I would really like to watch my replays during free ski mode, I do much cooler lines when I’m free riding. - more diverse challenges would be a lot fun.maybe the paid maps have different challenges, but I would love to see races and specific trick combination challenges and maybe even a game of H.O.R.S.E on a jump. Again, wonderful app. If this were on a console and little more depth to the game I would expect to pay the BIG BUCKS for it. Looking forward to purchasing the full version.
Super Fun Escape

Played the first free mountain and immediately spent the $ for the full product. Great quick escape with true open world game play. Graphics are gorgeous, physics near perfect, very few bugs so far. Would love to see more camera control ability and maybe an up/down compass as orientation can be tricky on a small screen. Still a 5 star game regardless. Looking forward to buying more content if it comes. After some reviews, I have to add some edits. This game is well worth $5! People complaining should go back to their freemium ad laden garbage. The effort and work are clear and the devs are still improving it! Second, while it may seem simple, the graphics and physics of this game are complex. Test the free version on your device prior to paying! If it doesn’t work, don’t complain, move on to less demanding games and download this when you upgrade. Lastly, I enjoy this game even without a controller; maybe not for everyone but for me.
WOW!! JUST WOW!! Amazing game...

THIS IS MY FIRST EVER REVIEW ON THE APP STORE, AND I HAVE TO DO IT FOR THIS GAME!! which I have over 150 games on it. Played this game for 1 hour and wow... it is very addicting. It really is an amazing open world game, the fact that this game has so much to offer and the variation and size in each map leads to endless exploration. SO MUCH MAP CONTENT TO EXPLORE!! Personally I think the night cycle is like time lapse level quick (maybe 10 seconds, while the day is like 10 mins). I liked this game so much that I purchased the whole thing and to my surprise, it was way cheaper than I thought for the amount of new stuff. I have played this game in 15 hours total and still haven’t discovered every map. A really good game! 1000% recommend! :)
Great game!

Great scenery and level design with a good variety of missions to complete or just fun to ski around in zen mode. The sounds and VFX are very well done and polished to perfection. The camera angle was a little weird for me at first but I think it’s an interesting feature. Some of the missions can be frustrating—bears mauling you at every turn, having to grind a 50m circular rail, following invisible trails, etc. It would be great to have customization options for skis, poles, clothes, etc. My suggestion would be to have it in a ski-shop style, with different flavors, if you will, of items to buy with in-game currency at the different mountains, a la GTA. Overall worth the $5 unlock.
Could easily be a 5 star game, but that camera angle

Why is it backwards? Why developers? That is the dumbest decision you could’ve made with this game. Mechanics and graphics are great, but the fricking camera is backwards... lol just why ‍♂️ Edit: Developer said it is because otherwise this would feel like a racing game. This is your project and you can do whatever you want with it but I will probably never touch this game and definitely won’t make in app purchases because the backwards camera gives me a headache. Also what is wrong with a racing game? At least consider giving the option. Really would be a 10/5 game otherwise, but as is it just isn’t fun for more than five minutes.
My favorite mobile game in five years

I’m a huge fan of this game! It’s somehow relaxing and challenging, beautifully rendered, and very much escapist if you’ve ever skied or boarded. I rarely buy games but enjoyed the free map so much I took a chance - it’s been completely worth it! I’ve easily logged 100+ hours of gameplay. It’s a one-time purchase that unlocks the entire game and all levels, which I really appreciate. Apparently the dev team is a very small shop, but they’ve directly replied to me when I pointed out a small bug. There’s an entire community that they listen to for tweaks and improvements. Awesome game!
Attention to details

Loved the details in this game that make it feel so real and meditative just like when I’m out in the mountain skiing. I’m still learning the controls but just the open map design, graphic details and user experience make me want to keep playing and learning this game. I’d say this is by far the best skiing game you can get on iOS. I’m going to install this on my iPad if available to take advantage of the big screen.
Amazing game

If you’re reading this do yourself a favor and DL Grand Mountain Adventure. It’s easy to play and fun to master! The graphics are SICK and the controls are as smooth as butter. GMA is great for both little sessions or long play throughs. There are a bunch of mountains to choose from and tons of collectibles to find. It’s simply an outstanding game that everyone should have in their arcade collection.
Great and fun game

The game is overall very fun. The graphics are great especially for a mobile game. The camera can be a little wonky here and there and I wish there was a better way to do combo tricks but those aren’t huge draw back. I would love to see some American mountains like mammoth or aspen added. I think that would greatly improve the player base. But I would recommend this game.
Purchased full game - unlock all mountains?

Great game. Smooth gameplay. Runs great on iPhone 7. I recently purchased the full game. It was noted that both twin skis and snowboard available once purchased. Confirmed. My issue is that not all mountains were unlocked. I’m still require to locate ski passes? Even tho I purchased the game in full? Help me out 3 brothers.
