Overall good but needs a little closer look…
ChrisBlackNY on 2022-08-08
Its a little glitchy but it runs good enough that I can get through the game. I really wish they added gps like the definitive edition and maybe a tab in the pause menu for entering cheats. Ive played this for well over a decade it was easy for me to map my controls in a way that I could play in this touch screen style. Controls for the most part make sense. I will say Im stuck on the mission when you have to dance with the DJ. Idk how the scoring system works on that but I only messed up once on the dancing part and didnt have enough points. Seems a bit too challenging I can only imagine the mission when you have to control the RC plane 🤦🏽. It could be because im still not as used to using touch screen as opposed to a controller but im sure the same could be said for many. I feel like that dancing mission specifically needs to be made less challenging.
A welcome port.

This may be the best way to play the game at the moment considering what rockstar did with the remaster. The only thing it needs is more options for people who want a more personal experience. Being able to edit controls in advanced ways would be nice in a game of this status… Also… maybe add a few things that would make this game feel more polished and loved the way the fans have loved it over the years. Lastly, I experience a “low frame rate” type of graphical effect that is painful on my eyes while playing this game. Not sure if this is a recent bug, or if it’s how the game has always been. All in all it’s GTA on the go and theres a lot to like so far, especially on controller. Worth a few dollars for sure.
I don’t feel like I have control

Neat idea to port this to mobile, but there are too many things going on at certain parts of the game to control it using only two fingers. This is most obvious with any missions involving piloting helicopters. I can’t maintain my altitude while firing the helicopter’s weapons because taking my finger off of the accelerate button to press the fire button sends my helicopter flying into the ground. On a console I’d be fine, since I’d have 6 total fingers to manipulate the controller. Here it’s a nightmare sometimes to get Carl to do what you need him to without setting the phone down on a flat surface and awkwardly placing your fingers around the screen.

The game is very nice, but it has two problems for me. When I drive my car and get next to the other car, he turns towards me without stopping the car and hits me. This is a problem. The second problem is when I hit someone in front of the policeman, I get a star, but when someone hits me in front of the policeman, he does nothing, but when I go back To hit him, he becomes a star. I hope that Rockstar will address this issue. Thank you.
Classic game

Better if you can get a Xbox one controller or ps4 controller Bluetooth to your phone when playing so it’s more of a console type play makes it easier to play. Only negative is I wish there was multiplayer online for this game even here in 2022. The bad negative I have to say is the game glitched out on me once when crossing a “do not enter bridge” to another area and I became stuck and had to load a previous game save.
Amazing game but glitching is really pissing me off

I am very mad I paid 7.99 for this game thought it was like the real gta from Xbox since I don’t have one everything was going good until I picked up cj girlfriend and took her to get food and then it started glitching all I can see is the sky and everything around me is blurry I have turned my phone off swiped out of my tabs still like that very disappointing I want my money back … this is why I don’t buy games
LOVE IT: One huge problem.

I absolutely love this game, I never played it on console but love the mobile version, everything about it is great, the bad thing is I play like maybe 30 hours of playtime when the game crashes while in the loading screen & doesn’t let me play anymore so I have to start over completely, I’ve gotten used to it so I only play free play now, but I’d like to save what I’ve played for. Anyone know how to fix this?
Best game ever!

This has been my all time favorite game since day 1. Not happy with the controls for iPhone and I have not figured out how to use it with a controller so why ruin the game’s rating over controls I’m not a butthurt Karen trying to ruin someone else’s day. Rockstar out did themselves with this one hands down best game in the series!
Add better aiming modes
FatBabyMan on 2022-08-08
Honestly I am stunned that Rockstar Games has not ruined this game with an activation system like every PC title they have, as of yet I guess. The game is nice but the aiming modes of the rocket launchers and the rifle sets you in first person mode which is very annoying and degrades the quality of this game.
60FPS?????? For GOD’s SAKE??
AlienBruh on 2022-08-08
Dude I love this game and the only reason why I downloaded this is to get the nostalgic feeling and to experience it here. I’m using the iPhone 13 Pro Max so I’m in the best case scenario here and it feels like the game runs on 24 fps due to some cap or whatever … make it 60 fps at least … 😡
