Typos and automatically spelling
homeschool! on 2021-06-16
My name is Madysan D. Clark an di want to tell you some reasons why word isn't the best nor bette than google docs. I love word, but the only thing i don't like about it is this: In google docs it corrects all of your incorrect spelling, but it dosen't do that here on word. On word if you have a typo it will eaither not automatically correct it or when it has that little red squiggle line nderneath the word and then you click on it it won't even give you options on what the word you were probably trying to spell. I know that word can't be exactly like google docs, but that dosn't mean that it can't be better. I think google docs and word are the same and i'm sure that you don't want to be the same. My advice to you, is to fix this problem and then look for ways to make word even better so that you can't even compeat with google docs. I love word, but if you don't fix this then i'm gonna stop using it and not only that but i'll use google docs instead. I know you don't want people not using your products, hey, i dont wnat it eaither! So, fix this please, fix this.
Just doesn’t sync
atask11 on 2021-06-16
Just so tired of Microsoft’s crap collaboration and syncing game. I get that there is technical debt...they can’t just become Google Docs. But the formatting and syncing problems across platforms make Word unusable as a modern tool. Edit on my iPad on Friday, then open my laptop Monday? Changes all smashed together, content lost...totally pathetic. Yes, on strong WiFi both times. Crashes, unequal web experiences... Companies should promote whether they’re a MSFT org or Google org in job postings to make life easier for us all. Those who love Excel and can’t learn anything else can choose appropriately. The rest of us can guarantee we use a true collaboration and cloud platform to create.
Microsoft-Do you even care?

I too use my iPad Pro exclusively for college work because of its portability. But as other iPad users have noted REPEATEDLY, there is serious lag-time (sometimes) and unexpected changes, glitches (?) or whatever you want to call them, that just take over your work. Sometimes punctuation is randomly inserted and a new sentence is started as I am typing long passages. I often have to shut everything down and wait a few minutes, to bring everything back to “use-ability.” It is VERY frustrating. Please fix it! Word could be a spectacular product if a little more attention was paid to the details and customer testimony.
Oh MY Word!

Have had Word since it came out, both at home and at work. Back when computers were mainly Word Processors, replacing our IBM Mag Cards. (Probably circa 1984ish?). The ability to SEE as we typed, AND save? GENIUS! Also a very forward thinking attorney I worked for. I’ve used EVERY version Microsoft has had, so much so ladies AT work who’s get stuck, or couldn’t get out u org where they at work could call me at home. Because I could tell them what to do over the phone, step by step to correct what they had “done”? Etc. BEST thing that EVER happened to the business world here in America, and the rest of the world!
Poor app functionality.
CodeZone on 2021-06-16
I adore Microsoft Office programs. I use Word all the time. This app does not do it justice. It’s great for getting super laggy after a few hours of use, deleting all progress that hasn’t been hard-saved when you switch to a different document, and switching itself back to the useless auto-save mode. I use the Word app or work, and I’ll often use it intermittently for several hours. Imagine my frustration when I’m 5-10 minutes from finishing my work, and the app starts lagging and must be restarted to function properly again. Also, it doesn’t have format painter, which is disappointing.
Lost all of my documents

I am so beyond frustrated with Word. I had a long paper that’s due shortly and was almost finished with it when the app started lagging really bad. I closed the app and restarted it as recommended on google ( I have auto save turned on). When I opened the app it had deleted almost all of my 30 page paper. I tried to restore it but it only shows the last 20 minutes of me working on the paper even though it shows that I created the paper weeks ago. It is so frustrating that I have to restart my paper, and if I had any other option I would never use Word again.
Memo to Dr. Thornton and Ruth Agather
BSJ78 on 2021-06-16
sent this to Dr. Thornton Today Mrs. K said she was going to die. when ask why she said I’m having trouble breathing. Terry sat her up and she felt better. she said she does sound congested. She hasn’t been taking the miralax - refusing. so hasn’t had a BM in 2 days. From the aide: Ms. K. VS 97.3 78 16 139/73 95%....refuses miralax & hasn't had a bm in 2days now...she took the iron so he’s calling in the zithromax. I texted DJ so he can pick it up. she had new nurses from Holy Savior. so it kind of frazzled her.

Do not get this app. They will lose all of your documents. I had to restore my phone to factory settings. When I went to download all the apps back on my phone every single app I have (and I have MANY) restored me right back to where I was whenever I signed in. Except Microsoft Word. Lost everything. I talked to their Support and they were very unprofessional. On top of that, they basically told me they have no idea how to fix it. This was a terrible experience and is the last time I get anything from Microsoft.
This workhorse has everything you need
Fairfax Frank on 2021-06-16
Microsoft Word is a miracle tool. I have used it for years, and it has never let me down. I hear some people saying that it has too many features and is too complicated. My response to that is use only what you need and ignore the rest. Start out simple and gain skills in using Word as you need them. There is an incredible amount of excellent training an explanation resources on the web for Microsoft Word. I would advise anyone that has not become familiar with the product to give it a try.
Couldn’t use the app because of the request for this review
Reviewer z2n6sb95 on 2021-06-16
When I tried to open the word app on my iPhone, I received a pop-up request for this review. The keyboard was up on the screen covering where I could cancel the pop-up. Nothing was accessible with the pop-up open, and I could not close to the pop-up. They close keyboard icon was not accessible, empty “go back“ arrow was not accessible. I honestly cannot tell you how I finally was able to view the bottom of the pop-up and was able to submit this review.
