Extremely upset with the treatment this evening between 7 pm and 8 pm in the shoe department. There were at leas 4 sales people in the designer shoe department not being busy at all, I walked around wanting to buy 2 pairs of shoes , it took 10 min for a Nordstrom employee to ask me if I needed help, I said yes please I would like to try on a Marc Jacobs (I believe ) black patent leather shoe with a clear heel size 7 or 7 1/2 . She then paged for somebody to come assist me. Another 10 min and a male sales person came over with a pair of shoes that belonged to another client ...... no explanation as he walked away he said we do not have them.,, I have been a shopper at Nordstrom from the 1st day the store opened in fashion valley .i have never been treated sooo rudely ...
Very disappointed in the treatment I had in your shoe department this evening, he did not even give me the time to ask him for the second pair of shoes I had intended to buy ..
Department stores and clothing stores in general are always focused more on the female shopper. This is understandable because well the female shopper spends considerably more and requires more options and items to complete a look. I feel like Nordstrom can do a better job at improving the shopping experience for a man. The landing page is still female focused. For example, your best date night ever, trending and from our experts is all female. I would expect to find more female items if I walk into your store because that’s the way it is but “walking” into your app should be 100% customizable for a male shopper. If I was looking for a suit would your associate ask me if I am interested in Skims or pantyhose? I would like to be able to turn off ALL items for female shoppers including “from our experts” if it’s not a male product.
So far I have enjoyed everything Dillard’s has to offer.
The exceptional amazing items that I buy I always Love. Plus I love when someone, even my husband says that beautiful and you look beautiful in the dress or outfit . Some say where did you get that. I smile and honestly say Dillard’s.
I am truly sorry that I missed The Christmas sale.
I wish you could have seen how I set up my living room for Christmas. I have a village that I create, all of my Santa’s from your store-sorry I missed this year, my husband became ill and I couldn’t do anything. Angels in one place.

The user experience on the app is fine, but nothing looks good because every clothing item is shot in what looks like full fluorescent light and isolated so every item looks cheap, like Kmart or something.
I realize it’s not easy to have nice photos for every item of clothing but nothing looks good on the models; literally nothing. Hence. I never buy anything on the app. I mean if they can’t make something look good on a pro, how will it look good on me? Nordstrom, you would sell soooo much more if you spent money on front end photo shoots. Like Free People or Anthropologie - give it some personality and something nicer than a flat white background.
Purchased a Nancy Gonzales handbag on sale on 2/19/20. Sale was on line and purchase went through as successful with no issues. Actually received an email stating order in progress and would’ve delivered soon. Then, today, received an email stating the handbag was suddenly not available. I feel as if I was deceived. Nordstrom used to carry beautiful items in each store making shopping there an adventure. Now we have to shop on line as many of these items are no longer available at the store to see and handle. Very bad marketing and not good in my opinion for Nordstrom’s future! I am very unhappy and believe I will be looking to shop elsewhere more often.
I recently received my dress I ordered from Nordstrom Rack and it came in the plastic wrapper inside out with deodorant stains on the garment and had an odor to it. I had no idea Nordstrom sends used clothing in this condition. It doesn’t say buy used clothing when purchasing online. I expected Nordstrom’s standards to be better than this. I never write reviews and this one I feel people deserve to know. I will be contacting corporate.
I’m so beyond disgusted, I’ve been passed around and put on hold over and over again. The way this matter is being handled it’s embarrassing, I was promised my carry on today as my flight leaves tomorrow am, was promised a phone call within the hour by manager RILEY 4 hours later no call no email to tracking information. This was the absolute worse customer service I have ever dealt with no accommodation what so ever.
I gave 3 stars because I LOVE shopping at Nordstrom and when the app works it wonderful! But it only works less than 50% of the time...Bummer...
Sometimes I do end up doing my shopping elsewhere because this app can be so frustrating.
I’ve had the app for years, on several phones and it’s always been the same - only works half the time....
The search filters are great on this app. However, the pages are consistently slow to load and often crash. Also, if you move away from the app to check a text message or any other app on your phone, if you’re gone for longer than 30 seconds, you’ll be redirected back to the home page which is frustrating once you’ve set up search filters.
