My family really likes the ease of getting around peacock. The selection is great, new and older content is wonderful.
I enjoy browsing and adding to my “My stuff.” Makes finding a show I was curious about, easier.
Since I browse a lot, I have to scroll through “popular”, “trending”, “new release”, etc.
There are shows, I have passed on, because they do not interest me.
I am asking that an option to “sleep”, “delay”, or “block” shows or movies that I am tired of scrolling through. If I am able to do this, a new selection of “suggested” will be provided. Plus, if I have watched all of the current offerings, then I won’t feel like peacock doesn’t have what I want anymore.
I like the idea of 30 day sleep before suggesting the movie or show again, just in case I push the wrong button.

Moving my review to 3 stars. So many features have been updated to improve the app - PiP added on iOS and iPadOS, more Audio Description options on original content (bravo!), etc - but one of the most basic functions continues to be missing.
With AutoPlay as an option, there should also be a simple way to edit the Continue Playing row. There are some shows in my playback history that I didn't actually choose to watch, and I really want to be able to remove them from the Continue Watching row. I've explored ways to clear the history entirely, or remove individual shows from their information pages, but there are NO options to edit previously watched history for users.
Please, add the ability to edit watch history. The app is nearly perfect at this point!
Forced watching

The app works and is good in the most basic of forms, but I still have major issues with there not being a way to turn off their Up Next feature when a show/movie ends. You end up with shows you have no interest in being stuck on your continued watching list if you’re not fast enough to hit the cancel button or accidentally press on the show itself. And, there’s no way to edit your continue watching so you just have to wait for a month or two for the show to disappear from your list. I’m old enough to make my own decisions about what I want to watch on your app. Stop trying to force things I have no interest in on me.
Interesting app choices

While this app is a great way to get content, I have two big complaints. First of all, the date of the show doesn’t appear. For example, I go to Seth Meyers’s show and it lists the most recent shows but doesn’t say what date. Annoying as I dip in and out of that content and don’t want to watch last week’s news. Second and biggest complaint is that when watching with AirPods, if they fall out or run out of battery the app switches to the speakers rather than pausing like a normal app. What is the use case for this? When I’m using headphones there’s a reason. Fix those things and it’s more like 5 stars
Peacock failure

Purchased for the AMA supercross series. Peacock will archive the show as soon as the time slot ends and is not available for a long time. So if you don’t watch it live you will have to wait till the next morning essentially to watch it.
The fast forward/rewind feature is absolutely worthless. A change needs to be made so it is not so fast, make it like Netflix. Also, have less commercials. Pretty much scrap the interface and start over please.
Frustratingly inconsistent 4k and HDR support

This review is focused more on the Peacock service. We have the premium subscription that comes with access to 4k and HDR content. It used to stream in the highest quality format through our LG TV’s built in app but no more. Also, the AppleTV 4k app has listed 4k and HDR content is available for several months but still will not stream in those higher quality formats. Very frustrating.

Great streaming service with many great movies and shows. I especially like the older shows you really can’t get on other services. Would like it if you could renew downloads when you reconnect to Wi-Fi. You get 48 hours to watch downloads once you start watching which is understandable if you rented a show or movie. You can delete and redownload but that just adds an extra step.
Need so much internet for it to start streaming.

Sometimes take over a minute for things to start, downloads take way too long, and it’s worse over data even if you have the SAME megabytes per second.
App is great, streaming is worst of any app I have and always has been.
I’ll sometimes Google if there’s any other way to watch because this is the ONLY app I have outside Reddit that won’t just work when you hit play.
Can’t delete items from “Continue Watching”

The Auto-Play function keeps bringing up shows I don’t want to watch, which then end up on the “Continue Watching” queue and can’t be deleted. How do you edit/delete the “Continue Watching” queue? How do you turn off Auto-Play? It’s driving me nuts! It’s so annoying it’s making me want to delete the Peacock app from all my Apple devices. Fix this please!
