Address pay wall & rule glitch - fun app
Lfaris on 2020-07-04
I really love the app/game which is why I really wish a couple of things could be fixed soon . 1. The pay wall is terrible . Can you sell the app For a price or Allow a monthly/yearly payment to Customers so we can play the game / use the app as much as we want ? It’s frustrating to have to wait or pay for ‘energy’ Over and over and I think probably discourages folks from playing your game as often as they might like . I personally love the game in general and play it all the time so I would love to just pay You a flat rate for the app use (and play as much as I want) for a good quality application such as this one , than to be nickel and dimed every few games while I’m playing . 2. the rule in phase 10 whereby the player who finishes with the lowest points AND phases the highest first is the winner . Your app often gives the first player to lay their cards down on the last phase the win , just because they go out / lay down first but still have higher points than the actual winner . By doing this , you are eliminating the entire concept of tracking points and choosing certain cards / strategies on various hands which really ultimately defeats the point of the game . Lastly the cash, coins , energy and jewels are too much to keep up with and are just a bit annoying to be honest . An adjustment to the pay wall (see above) could help fix this perhaps? I feel the folks that enjoy your app would truly enjoy it a lot more if these things were addressed .
Super annoying

The game is what you’d expect from Phase 10, but some things are incredibly annoying. First the tutorial. It takes so long to get through. Half of it is explaining stuff basic to any app, not even the specific game. And it moves so slowly. You should be able to skip any tutorial aspects. Then there are the power ups. I shouldn’t have to turn them off before every hand. I used up the free ones because I accidentally pressed start without unchecking them. No chance I would buy some knowing I’d probably accidentally use them when I didn’t mean too. Then there’s the ease of making a mistake. I can be moving cards into the play area and accidentally drop one in the discard, ending my turn. This has cause me to lose a hand before. Speaking of the playing area, if I need a set of 3 and I put down a set of 4, I shouldn’t have to take one back for the game to be able to figure out I made it. And of course, discarding a skip should still use it, you shouldn’t have to drop it on a player. Finally, what sent me here is that you can run out of energy in a stage. If you’ve got 4 phases and want me to use 20 energy, make the stage cost 20 energy. “You can only play so much” is the worst kind of app design, but even something like candy crush only penalizes when you lose and DOESN'T MAKE YOU STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A LEVEL UNLESS YOU PAY!
Unfair, glitchy, money centered, click bait

First off I want to say that this is a okay game. It actually has some strategy to it and has very minimal ad content. However, it is nearly impossible to play. You have to wait for your energies to reload and it takes a long time. There were several times when I couldn’t even get through the round because my energy wouldn’t reload. Not to mention the whole energy thing is just a ploy to get you to spend money. Most of the time, the only way for you to play a whole game is to purchase thier crap. Next off, it’s impossible to level up. In the beginning they so obviously let you win, but it doesn’t last. After a couple levels in the computers start making it harder and harder. They also constantly skip you so you barely get to play while them(not even real players) level up without getting a chance to play. It would be one thing if they were other real people, but this is just ridiculous since it’s computers. They should be letting the real players actually play(and might I add- actually win some) so people are encouraged to keep playing. After a while it gets extremely boring and not worth your time. I think it’s been less than 24 hours and I’m already done with it. Don’t waste tour time. This game isn’t worth all the flaws it comes with.
If you enjoy spending $$$ you’ll love this game

Total sarcasm above. I downloaded this a couple nights ago and right away I could tell it was about how much money you’re willing to spend. Can’t play with any of your friends, just there bots, who honestly you have slim chance of ever winning against. In multiplayer you’ll go out in the first round after a few draws and come phase 2 the bot skips you right off the bat and goes out before you ever have a chance to draw a card. Legit happens all the time. Having to refill the energy is just super annoying and overrated, like seriously, another game you have to wait hours to play another phase? 5 energy per phase, not just level, but every single phase. So the harder levels where there are 5 phases, ha good luck, you’ll be playing that single level for hours, if not days if you don’t spend money to buy more diamonds. I literally just wanted a fun game to play, I figured I’d be able to play against my husband but nope. So I guess this will just be one of those games that I’ll play every now and then after everything refills. Oh and just to get 20 dice you have to wait 21 HOURS for it to refill, unless, you guessed it, ya spend money. Have fun!
Disappointed

I want to say I love the app because I love the game, but the app seems to be “money hungry” rather than designed for you to have fun and it seems to be rigged against you. I should not be yelling at the app for moves that don’t make sense especially when they happen over and over. I noticed when I spend money I excel on the board, but when I do not it is programmed to make me loose over and over. The app players skip you even when it doesn’t make sense and skip you multiple times. Also, the app players tend to get dealt a winning hand. I have never hand a winning hand from the jump. I always have to work for it. Furthermore, why do we have to lose the 5 lighting bolts when you win the phase. In other games we do not loose lives when we excel the phase. My theory... money. Playing with actually ppl is a lot more fun. I think the app should feel Ike you are playing with actual ppl. App creators if you are reading this please fix the algorithms. You will have more people using the app and spend money on the app if it was fair and feel like you’re playing with actual people.
HELP
SeaOfLions on 2020-07-04
My game all of a sudden told me that I could not access parts of it anymore such as multiplayer, fortune hunt and treasure chests because I needed to be “online to use that feature”. I know for a fact that I had excellent internet connection and could not figure out why it consistently told me I needed to be online. I deleted the app and re-installed it to attempt to fix the issue. No luck. Now i’m lost without my account that had a ton of progress, coins and phase-bucks on it. All of that hard work and time down the drain. I attempted to recover my old account through the FAQ section. Useless and a waste of time. Nothing was helpful at all for my account recovery unless I had used Facebook to link to my Phase 10 account. I had used my apple ID to create my account, so the facebook route was useless to me. Theres not even an option to contact customer support via email unless filled out by the questionnaire. The questionnaire in itself is ridiculous. I NEED TO TALK TO AN ACTUAL PERSON SO I CAN GET MY ACCOUNT BACK. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
Phase 10
Robbibean on 2020-07-04
Every so often this game refuses my last card so I can win or it won’t let me play on the o-pentagon sets or on my own sets sometimes so I end up losing if this continues I will quit playing. I refuse to spend money on a game that doesn’t work right every time. Also it ignores when I play a skip card the one that should of been skipped still gets to play but if they play one I get skipped, this game is rigid. Just like uno when it refuses to let me discard the one I want. I can be out of a color and it won’t let me play my wild card and it skips my turn. I also get skipped three to four Times or skipped only to draw 2 or 4 cards. And the same company makes both of these games so guess I will have to make sure I don’t download their games. As they never do anything when you file a comment telling what’s going on. Done spending my money to keep playing a rigid game.
Rules change constantly
JSH-gamer2020 on 2020-07-04
The winner of the matches changes. Once I finished along with another computer player. I had the lowest score between us and I still came in second place. They did lay their last hand down first so I assumed that was part of the code, even though we both laid down and completed all phases. Then I played again where it ended up being the opposite (I laid down first but had 5 more points than the computer player) and I still did not win the round. The coding on this game is rigged for you to lose. I’ve also noted that the computer will pick up a card of mine, yet never play it or discard it and still win the round by laying down all their cards. I would rate this a zero if I could. Make it like the true game of phase 10 with consistent rules.
Cheating, money hungry
Hoki Poki on 2020-07-04
This game could be so so great! The graphics are awesome and the game itself is so addicting! But (without going into too much detail) the whole point of it really is to give you not enough of anything to play the game and no way to get what you need except to pay for it with cold hard cash. Also, the AI players you play against are too lucky...it’s not realistic or fair. I would happily pay a one time fee for the game just to have it function more like a game and less like a rigged slot machine. Also, how are the positive reviews so high? All of the reviews I read were negative. Another cheat.
Super unfair
Jams1985 on 2020-07-04
I’ve had this game for a while now and I am still in level 18. How is it that all the players can have all the cards all the time and you never get anything. I don’t understand. They give you 50 points and those 50 points don’t last you for nothing. I understand that you can’t always win but hello it would be nice to win every now and then. I downloaded this game for my stress and anxiety and what it does it gets me frustrated. So you guys really need to at least have easy- in between or hard. I like the old phase 10 better. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. and if I can I wouldn’t even give it a star
