Pretty good but needs some things changed
Pokewolfac on 2020-10-27
I love this game so much. I just want some things changed. Firstly, I want them to make it MUCH easier to get poke-coins and get rid of the 50 coins per day thing. Please also make mega evolution easier. By that I mean please can you make Pokémon mega energy like candies, as in you get it if you catch a Pokémon from that family? And I would love to have remote raid passes easier to get (perhaps they could every once in a while be in your daily box?). I have to be home 24/7 so if I find a Pokémon in a raid that I really want, I unfortunately can’t get it if I don’t have a pass. Finally, please please PLEASE make it so you can trade with someone more than 100 kilometers away. This game is great, just needs a little. Thanks. Edit: I also just remembered, I read in the in-game news that they’re making incense work only when you’re moving, and it’s basically the same with Pokémon. Haven’t you guys heard about the pandemic going on? We can’t really go out and move! Also please make it so you get coins every day garenteed (sorry, don’t know how to spell). AND fix all the freaking glitches. Everyone agrees. FIX THIS GAME! Edit: ok one last thing. Can some people add me as friends? My code is 1289 4439 2073 Also if you add me could you please live in the US? I wanna trade so... Edit: Okay, last thing, hopefully true. I’ve seen people say in reviews to make shinies more common... to me, shinies are MORE common in this game than the main series games. I’ve caught a lot more shinies (at least 5) and seen even more than when I play Pokemon Moon (only seen and caught one)! So, stop complaining about shiny chance. Shinies are supposed to be rare! Ok byeeee
Hair changer
ooopoppoo on 2020-10-27
Ok so Pokémon go is a great game in all but you know girls don’t just wear ponytails yes it is common but girls do not just wear ponies and boys don’t just have short hair common but no I hope there is an update where you can change the hairstyle on the character but ya I have always wanted a developer response and this is a big problem you guys need to make it easier to log back in if you get signed out because I have been signed out for months and I tried your website that helps you with that problem but that doesn’t help at all and I also tried all combinations of passwords both on niantic kids and Pokémon trainer club it doesn’t work either get a better way to log in easier and faster or give me a developer response and I want to get to the Halloween store before it is over my friend says that it ends on Halloween give me a developer response now!
Pokémon center
JaneHale on 2020-10-27
I love the game, I love battles, Raids, all of it. One thing I tend to fall short of, revives. It would be SUPER cool if there were Pokémon center’s, of course there wouldn’t be able to be the same amount of them as there are gyms, stops. BUT what about a few in each city? Where you have to go and be for a certain amount of time, 30 minutes to an hour. Maybe a restaurant, a park, something, that you can heal all of your Pokémon for free or even have like tickets or something to earn/purchase, you only need on per visit and you can get all of your Pokémon healed at once? That would be super cool. There would still be a need/want for revives (just like the game) you can’t always be able to go to the center just like in the game, that’s why there would only be a few in each city. ‍♀️ just a thought.
Greedy game.
Kermitthestorm on 2020-10-27
This is the FOURTH time I’m writing a review. They’ll delete this one too I’m sure. The game is greedy. It is purely designed to cost you money and that’s it. You waste pokeballs and berries by the ton trying to catch simple low CP Pokémon. With no consistency as to what will catch and what won’t. The “rewards” are few and far between. And you end up wasting more than what you got trying to catch “event Pokémon.” All of the events are locked behind paywalls. The rocket leaders and event Pokémon are way too powerful for anyone to fight against. And if you haven’t been playing this game religiously since launch or are willing to throw hundreds of dollars at it, then don’t bother even trying to compete or have fun. Because you won’t. Would give 0 stars if I could.
In game shop issues
shortcakerain on 2020-10-27
For several weeks now I have been unable to purchase anything out of the shop. I cannot get the free gifts I cannot spend my coins I cannot buy more coins and it is prohibiting me from getting very far in the game or really enjoying it. I absolutely love this game and I’m so obsessed with it but I have been super upset about not being able to buy the storage or the lucky eggs or the incense that helps me complete my research better.I try to contact support and they say that they’re aware of this issue but do not have an estimated time for when it will be fixed. I would like to get back to playing daily as soon as possible Side note: I cannot complete special research in time and it upsets me to see all the cool Pokémon everyone else is getting that I can’t.
I love Pokémon
J3di0n3 on 2020-10-27
Pokémon Go is the game that hooked me into the Pokémon world. While I love the game and it worked pretty well on Android, the iOS app is the most buggy, ridiculously freezing app I’ve ever used. I have an iPhone 11 and am on my second device and nothing I do makes the game any less buggy. It freezes 5-15 times every time I play. I hate to say this but I’m considering breaking up with the game because of the bugs. Niantic makes some innovative and fun apps. I hope this can be fixed. I’d love to give the game 5 stars and I would if the bugs were lessened. I understand that it won’t always be a seamless experience but mine is one of frustration, always. I’ve lost legendaries, shiny Pokémon and otherwise rare stuff during a freeze.
Backyard fun!
Rainbow Kawaii Pastel on 2020-10-27
This game is a great way to interact with the world around you. You have to stay safe, though. Whoever keeps saying this game made them walk in the street is dumb. If you have common sense, you can tell when you walk out the door. If your going over 40 MPH, it says Pokémon Go is not a good game for when you drive. You can click I’m a Passenger. But it tells you. You have to pay attention, of course. If you think it’s not safe, don’t play it. Every time you log into the game, it says “Remember to pay Attention to surroundings” or “Pay attention” etc, etc. I recommend playing it in your backyard or in The car [as a passenger, not driver]
They’ve managed to keep it interesting, but
SawahTreeRat on 2020-10-27
The game has always favored players who are consistently spending money on it, but in years past; players who put in the work of visiting many Pokestops and gyms were able to obtain enough items to enjoy the game without paying. I’ve noticed lately that Pokestops and gyms haven’t been dropping as many Pokeballs, which are what makes the game playable. It really seems like players are increasingly being manipulated into buying Pokeballs and other essential items. Sadly, times are tough for myself and many others, and spending money on iPhone games isn’t a justifiable expense. Playing less and less.
Terrible Glitch
Rene84686433435 on 2020-10-27
So I evolved a Yamask, and I wanted to power up it to make it strong, but nothing happens, so I left it, then I tried it out in battle in the great league, it had 900 CP, when I got in battle with a MPC, the opponent couldn’t attack me nor I couldn’t attack it, also it said my Cofagrigus had 50,000Cp, then I tried any online battle it still said it had 50,000Cp, but we could attack, but once it fainted it’s a soft lock, I closed the app and got in, it sent me in the same battle, but I had my second Pokémon out, then the battle went on normal. My Cofagrigus is a glitched Pokémon. ):
Pokémon go is awesome but...
apple arcade nerd on 2020-10-27
Pokémon go is my favorite mobile game. I live in a place where there are four gyms and like ten poke stops around a half of a mile away. It is a great game but I was wondering if you can make a remote gym pass where you can fight a gym and add your Pokémon in the gym without having to actually go here, they could be 300 pokecoins if you make it. But other than then that you guys are awesome!!!!! PS. Also can you make it easier to catch raid bosses?
