I enjoy it thanks! For us millennial investors, can you please add a feature that demonstrates taxes into our P&L.... like show us what we owe the IRS and what’s our take home portion... Our fellow Gen Z’ers are also cognizant of what’s really our money and what’s not.... but need help calculating... Plus, why it take so long for funds to settle and be used to invest.... We saved our money and it’s in our bank account, I should be able to invest with it... *We don’t want to borrow to invest* -we just want to invest- I’m going to give a 1 star so your team my see it quickly... but I really like the platform and I really mean 5 stars.... Btw... no margin... margin lame... debt bad, real money good.... my weird uncle with 20k in credit card debt might think it’s ok but not us.... -NG
Temporary outage?
WwZeroWW on 2020-10-30
As of right now (Sunday October 25, 2020 11:44PM EST) my stocks have been frozen for over 48 hours. Nothing has changed since the other day around 6PM which is as far forward as I can seek in the app. It’s been stuck at +0.28% for about this long and I don’t see how. I’ve bought and sold since the other day but nothing has gone through. Not to mention every company I look at has also been paused since then. There’s no “Live” option to watch stocks either, nothing is updating as it should. Maybe this is temporary or an area-based problem. Other than that I gave this 5 stars bc this is the only issue I’ve ever run into in my—nearly—full year of using this app. Edit: this was fixed shortly after.
Making me buy stock at high sell low
Mi Tortuga on 2020-10-30
I realized Robinghood filled my order much higher than my order price. I realized it because the price was not recoded as high price that day. My order at 3:57 am ( Hawaii time) filled at $3.17 per share. That day the high price at 3:40 am (HI) was $3.13. Then kept going down to $3.06 at 3:40am (HI). How I shall pay $3.17 for a share that was going for $3.06-$3:13? When I sell, it filled at lower than ordered price. Robinhood used the excuse by saying stock just went down at the time of execution. Well, in this case may be. I can further look into it but selling at higher than going price, I don’t accept such excuse. I request more legit explanation and my lost money back.
Don’t put your money in this app

Really bad customer service the worse ever, i have to said , the don’t solve anything at all also the worse broker to trade Ether or Bitc. Ex: You want to buy Ether at a current price of 386 and they sell it to you a 390 you are already losing money worst than e fee , same happens when you try to sell now the current price is 390 and you want to sell the buy from you at 388 you lose 2 por each ether image you trading 100 ether that equal to 200 dollar lose, and if you are thinking to put a market limit i don’t work is the same you put a market limit to buy at 390 the have to wait to the price drop to 385 so you now buy at 390 came on the can do it much better.
No nonsense - Easy enough for all

If you’re looking for a way to invest that’s very straight forward but complicated enough for those that want it, look no further. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me is that you can only trade on American stock exchanges. I’m sure it’s not the fault of Robinhood though but it would be nice to trade on the LSE and HK markets. Overall an excellent and simple way to invest. SIDE NOTE: Do not look at it every day unless you’re a day trader. Fast way to loose money and get anxious about loosing a lot of money - stocks rise generally over years!

I don’t mean to sound as annoying as I’m going to sound but here it goes. I tried signing up because I was 19. It showed the whole process and it sat on 65% for days. It finally said I was unable to make my account. I emailed support about 5 times over the next month before they finally got back to me saying I was not at least 18 years age so I could not sign up. I am now 20 and it is still telling me the same thing. I know people who have success with this app but I would not suggest anyone to get it. But that’s just my personal opinion.
Life Changing

As a 19 year old. Watching stocks and not participating in them for around a year really helped me understand the overall idea. Taking things slow and trying to learn on such a basic platform such as Robinhood, has helped me accomplish a lot. I've taken some losses in my early stages of trading, however, that is not the case recently. I've made around $500 with only putting in $200. I cannot wait to be able for more opportunities and more knowledge to come my way.

This app is a blessing or a curse for anyone trying to get into the stock market. It is simple and easy to use their UI, so it will be great for someone just starting to learn the ropes. It has had some high traffic days that has caused even myself and others to have bad service with the app and website, thus can lead to losing money but I would still recommend this app for someone starting out but move on to a platform that allows for more options like shorting stocks.
My review keeps getting deleted...

I don’t understand why each time I review this app my reviews get deleted!? Critics will make this app better as it’s your customer voices who are using you app. Robinhood needs to implement indicators ASAP. You were the leading of investing apps at launch but many companies like Webull are doing a way better job at listening their customers and their app is plain gorgeous with all the necessary financial tools to trade properly.

Robin Hood has changed my life. I started trading in May. In 6 months, I’ve had a 40% return on investment (and that was with zero experience and many, many early mistakes). I’ve been able to pursue my hobbies as a full-time job, while living off of Robin Hood earnings. I recommend it to anyone with spare cash that isn’t doing anything but sitting in a savings account, making money for the bank.
