Super annoying compass, otherwise excellent app
Elmedin Memo on 2020-04-04
If compass feature had a normal button, app would be awesome. Like ON/OFF IN PREFERNCES??? Wow, that would be too much to ask! I have paid version and my 4 year old enjoys exploring the planets and stars. But, every move you make it brings back the compass and your app resets the view and points to the compass direction. We probably turn it of 10-20 times in 20 min we spend exploring. Please add setting in preferences to turn compass off and on, for people who don’t want it.
Absolutely amazing

I NEVER write reviews. This is the first one I’ve ever sent, and this app deserves it. If it wasn’t for this app, I wouldn’t have gotten into astronomy, which is now my favorite hobby. It’s easy to use and simple, but goes into detail when you look for it. It shows the time that objects rise and set which is very useful for me. This review sounds sponsored or something, but it’s honestly not, I’m just impressed. Definitely worth your money.

This app shows so many stars, galaxies, and planets with AMAZING accuracy!! I love the information it give when you tap on what you want to know more about. I like the settings- they give you many options and it is very versatile. I do suggest adding a notes section. It would be very helpful. because at night, when I am stargazing, it is dark so it is hard to make notes without a light. It would be easier if I could make notes on the app.
Awesome app!

Sky Guide is the best! Simply amazing app that I spend literally hours at a time using. I’d give it 5 stars for sure, except that I tried to upgrade to the Supermassive subscription, but it crashes upon opening on my iPhone XR, everytime. Tried deleting it and redownloading it all. No dice. So I cancelled the subscription, and I’m hoping it gets fixed.

This app is amazing. It’s so easy to use and there’s so much information for the actual stars and constellations to the sky during each month and more. I love the stars and live right by an observatory, so this is definitely something I use almost every night. I love the different events posted too!! 10/10 definitely the best stargazing app out there!
I really love the app

I've liked this app from the first day I purchased. It also works well with the meteor app that I use. Recently, It has directional GPS issues, though. North is shown way off course when this happens and can’t lock in on north. iPhone 6s Plus with Otterbox plastic case. It worked great from the day it came with the phone up until two summers ago.
Superior Sky App!

I totally love this app! Extremely informative and fantastic sky views. I have alarms set for space station fly overs, and various universe events. Learning and viewing planets, stars, nebula, sun, moon, constellations, galaxies, and everything in between! I love it and I highly recommend this app for all ages! So much fun and knowledge.

I have used Sky Guide to orient myself and to entertain traveling companions while on safari in Southern Africa, on camping trips to several national parks in the US, and while in war zones in the Middle East. It never fails to amaze and inform across generations and across cultures. Sky Guide is my favorite app..
Beautiful!! A work of art!

I have been using this app since it’s first release, and I’ll never use any other! It’s very accurate, easy to use and navigate with many options! It is truly a work of art!! I am an amateur astrophotographer and astronomer and I’d be lost without it!! :))
