Your account will automatically be charged for renewal within a 24-hours prior to the end of the current subscription period unless you disable auto-renew. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Privacy Policy: https://getslopes.com/privacy.html Terms of Service: https://getslopes.com/terms.html ========================== Note: GPS is required so Slopes will not work indoors, and iPads and iPods will not be able to record with Slopes. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Other factors such as the phone's temperature, battery health, and other apps running in the background can also affect battery performance. All-day battery life was tested on an iPhone 8.

Nice ski tracker
MPower335 on 2020-02-23
I really like this app. It will track your runs, record your speed, elevation, vertical feet skied, etc. It’s fun to see all your tracks at the end of the day. The reasons I gave it 4 stars are because: 1) when I started my slopes session on my Apple Watch, I wasn’t able to see any of my recorded tracks on my phone until I ended the session at the end of the day. With ski gloves and layers of clothing covering my watch it’s not easy to get to it. Anyway it’s a minor issue. I will have to remember to start my session with my phone. 2) the friends feature doesn’t really seem to work. I’ve added a few of my friends I ski with also have slopes and while I can see them in my logbook, I can’t see them in the friends section. I only see myself listed with no one else. Also, when I first reviewed my day sking I could see my friends tracks as well as mine, however, that has since disappeared. 3) it’s more expensive compared to other ski trackers. It might be that other ski trackers are ad supported in which case I can understand the price difference. Lastly, for a future enhancement can you include a trails % grade I’m skiing on? Maybe the average grade and max grade? Thanks for making this app. Looking forward to future enhancements.
Cluttered UI, otherwise decent

It’s a fairly decent app but I absolutely HATE the fact that the run details view is cluttered with premium feature “ads” and share and show photos options. I don’t want to use those features but every time I look at details I have to look at and scroll past these options. I would much rather have the app remind me once in a while but this is too much. I’m looking for a replacement. Also, there’s no option to export the data or save it to iCloud in case you done want it uploaded to the developer’s server but still want it backed up. Apple Watch version isn’t any better and splits the key stats across 4 screens so a quick glance won’t work to get a quick sense of things. You have to rotate the crown to see those. Response to developer response: 1. I think you understood full well I was talking about the big box in the day view prompting for photos despite disabling the setting you mentioned which I already had disabled. 2. Export only works for one day. Good luck exporting an entire or multiple seasons.
Good app baaaad battery

This app is good and does what it says well. The in app purchases are to be expected, but unless you are looking to be obsessive about your user history you will be happy with the basic app. The reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the app says for best results use your Apple Watch for the app instead of the phone, but it absolutely kills my battery on my watch. I am using an iPhone X and a Apple Watch series 5 with out cellular. I have tried all the tips that the developer says to do but my watch doesn’t last a whole day of riding when the app is running. An average riding day for me is about 9-12 runs and about 5-6 hours on the mountain. During normal usage of my watch for workouts I only use about 1/3 of the battery in a day.

This is why I ski!
edelaney05 on 2020-02-23
All year I look forward to my annual trip out west for 3 or 4 days of skiing with my family. I enjoy the speed, improving my technique, and finding great runs. I recently gave Slopes a try because I’d seen it featured by Apple. Wow! This app has everything an enthusiast could want! I never really had a sense of how many calories I burn in a day (>1,000!) or how fast I max out (>35mph!). After the first day, I’d bought “passes” for my wife and father to track our stats together. Thanks for a wonderful app, Curtis!
Fantastic Watch App
Mr. Review Guy on 2020-02-23
I used to used Oakley goggles with a built in HUD that showed speed. It was a poor experience and distracting. Slopes on my watch is amazing! Going up the lift I can quickly glance at my watch and see the speed of my last run, my fastest speed that day, a chart showing my last several runs, total vertical, and mileage. It shows me everything I want. And the integration with Strava is seamless and fantastic. Slopes has a permanent spot as a complication on my watch’s screen.
Awesome

This app is awesome! The premium version shows heat maps and where exactly that you hit your top speed etc. the only thing I wish were different is when you get to the mountain it actually finds your location, tracks the runs BUT it would be cool if it actually said what slope/run you took. Like the name and if it were a green, blue, black etc. Regardless, still an awesome app and I hope they continue to build onto it.
Amazing App
NotReallyRyan on 2020-02-23
This app is amazing for six different reasons: 1. It’s accurate enough 2. It’s usable even without premium 3. No ads 4. Allows for you to be competitive with friends 5. Amazing features such as a ton of stats and a way to view your runs on a map of the mountain 6. You can give premium to a friend if you’ve bought premium I highly recommend and I hope the developers add more to the app, especially to the merch store.
Awesome app

Everything on this app has been really awesome and easy to use pretty much does everything for you all you have to do is sign up and add friends it has a really cool comment and picture that prompts you with at the end of the day so makes every day memorable I’ve already recommended to two friends that downloaded it right away we had competition going who boarded the most who went the fastest it’s awesome
