⚠️I am so sorry that this is like paragraphs but it’s so important⚠️ Okay so I played this game for so long, and I love it too💗! But there are some bugs😒 Like If my phone dies when I’m playing this game, and I get back on it, it restarts the day (it’s pretty annoying) and I get mad because I have hard work on that day😠😭 The second one is On the first year, there are flower dances in spring🌺- Right? But it won’t let you have a partner and everyone has an excuse like “ oh I’m going to dance with someone else” or “ oh I’m sorry, but no” like bro then what’s the deal of having a flower dance if your not going to dance😂And also an fyi about that..when you hang out and the big finale is done, all it just says is “ that was fun, let’s go home” but like can’t you add more games or something to it, cause it’s not fun without at least 2 games in the party. Please fix that. IT BUGS ME. And the last thing is- I was trying to play this game with my mom, so she downloaded the app, and we were so excited to play together! but there wasn’t the party group server in there. Then I looked it up and it says it won’t work in phones, you guys won’t put it on PHONES but sure you will put it on Nintendo, PS4 or PS5. Please put party groups in. It must be very annoying to other kids or adult when they have to deal with this. And it’s a waste of money to get a Nintendo(not really) but I don’t want to buy a 300$ Nintendo to just get my game on and buy an extra 20$ to get the tiny game chip. I rather get it on my phone. 😟😑🙄💅🏼 But, on the other edge, it’s a good game, it is good for everyone (especially children) because everyone needs to learn on having a farm place 😂 but yeah, I just recommend to think twice and always charge your phone 😁be careful out there mi amigos, AND ALWAYS HAVE FUN NO MATTER WHAT✨✨✨✨ Bye bye my munchkins 😃🥳🤭😈🎃👾🎭🧘🏻‍♀️🎂🫧💥 (Btw it’s my birthday so happy b-day to me!!!) Bye bye From: bearbear, the squirrel 💗🐿
Amazing game, easy to delete progress UX bug
merheylie on 2022-07-03
I LOVE this game. Return to it over and over, it’s the best game on mobile to relax after work or on road trips. I will spare this review the usual begging for additional maps, features of PC version. (Of course I wish for those too). I recently accidentally deleted a 4y+ character and aesthetic map I’d put a lot of effort into. Could not recover it. Realized later, when I almost did it again with my new character this is because the pattern continue where you left off confirm dialog, green check for yes on the right…is the SAME pattern for ‘delete this character’ dialog, green check for yes on the right…that erroneously appears if I shift+tab apps on my iPad (from Spotify to Stardew Vaelly…for instance). PLEASE FIX. THIS IS TERRIBLE. I’m now nervous to play. P.s. I’ve said it before and will say again…I’d happily pay much more, join a SV dev club, donate to a kickstarter…WHATEVER to continue enriching the iOS version of this amazing game. Much appreciation to all those involved in porting and maintaining this solid gold classic!
Love game too much, for years!

This is a game I just keep coming back to. It’s relaxing, fun and engaging. I love how you can create multiple builds / characters and try different maps to make it a never ending fascination. I wish I could pay more for it. Yes. Take my money…would be amazing to have the full game on iOS. I have a switch, xbox, etc. but this is my go-to game on my ipad that I use on road trips and basically anytime I want a break from work, or relaxing on the couch, etc. I really want to get the extras like Willy’s boat, ginger island, etc. that are limited on iOS. I so love the purity of this game, and would love to support you ConcernedApe…expansion packs, special items, etc? I think there’s a way to make it a win-win for game support, your sanity and keeping it really down to earth and wonderful non-interruptive and up-charge crazy. Thanks a MILLION for the best game on iOS. Hands down. Stardew Valley is such a gem on so many levels.
I like the game but...

This game still is very buggy. PLEASE fix the joystick, as it is not aiming properly for Prairie King, and the "tap to move" is also buggy, since when i try to leave my bed it calls this random tile "occupied" and instead asks me if i want to go to sleep. Also, suggestion idea; auto-break while movement. You know how the NPCs goes straight in their path and demolishes the items in their way? Well, you could add a toggle that allows you to go in a straight, adjacent direction that automatically uses your tools (depending on the blockade) and makes a clear directon for you. Just an idea. Other than those, the game is a pretty good game, just be patient for the update and it'll be worth while. The graphics are good and they have the vibe and music, much made for any player. Also, I’ve been recently have been having issues with “luck” as it is not applying in the Oasis Casino.
one of my favorite games!!

I’ve spent WAY too many hours on my switch playing this game. I love the characters, plot, and overall freedom when customizing your farm and house. This game has so much to offer. I found out a mobile version of this game had been released, so I decided to give it a try. For a mobile game, THIS IS AMAZING. I’ve never found a mobile game that I actually put time and effort into without deleting it after the second day. The controls need some getting used to, but overall, the gameplay is perfectly fine with the new system. There’s just one thing that’s a little disappointing about the mobile version. For some reason, you can’t sit down like you used to be able to on other platforms. I loved the little “pop” you make when your character takes a seat, but this version lacks that little detail.. Otherwise, this game is a 10/10 would recommend 👌🏼
Very good however…

Just to clarify, I think this game is better than a lot of others I have ever had on my phone. I love it and I play it whenever I have a moment to myself throughout the day. HOWEVER, as you progress you lose more and more money when you pass out from exhaustion or you die in the mines AS WELL AS loosing valuables and if you lose more than one item you have to choose one to save (for an additional price). I’m not making a bunch of money to counter my losses and it seems bogus to me when I lose 2,000+ money AND items then have to pay more to get one of my many items lost. Also what’s the point of playing a days worth of in game time and then JUST as the days ending the game crashes? I lost all progress from a time going to the mines. Do you know how frustrating that is???
One of the only games i’ve ever actually become addicted to!

I’m not a video game person in the least, my attention span just doesn’t allow me to ever focus enough to really get into games, or that’s what i thought, that was until i was introduced to stardew valley. This game is just constantly entertaining and even after 100s of hours of gameplay it still has new things to discover and do. On top of that it’s simple enough that i don’t ever get frustrated with the gameplay. I always play it after work to relax and settle down. You could play this game for years and never get bored and i think that’s just what i’ll do. After i finish the farm i’m working on right now i plan on restarting the game and doing a whole different play method to get different results! This game has so much to offer and will always be my #1 game💓
Two major issues!
Foolsraven on 2022-07-03
I really like this game. I started playing so I could play with a friend of mine. It’s fun and I’m quite caught up in it. However, there are two major issues! 1st: I can only play this on my iPad or mobile and the fishing mechanics are impossible! My friend who plays on the PS4 says it’s much much easier on console but impossible on mobile. She is correct. 2nd: The game crashes way too often! And it is especially frustrating because you can only save when you’re done with the day and sleep! It crashes and I have to redo everything I did that day! That is extremely discouraging! Please fix these issues, and if you want less bad reviews you should add a bug report option in the settings.
One year progress lost when reinstalling app
Liliana on 2022-07-03
Pretty much. I was, to this day under the impression that my game save was synched through iCloud, but I had a reddit post tell me my game is gone forever... just because I needed to sort out some space issues on my phone. Nobody ever mentions that anywhere! The app does not specify that anywhere, I honestly feel like asking for my money back. I busted my chops playing the game and I was almost on year 3! This game is extremely difficult on mobile, I'm not going to lie. But it's enjoyable once you settle and get a hang of it. Nevertheless, it's a total pain to get to where I was. Not happy at all. I'll call Apple.
Great game

Overall I love the game and am new to Stardew valley. There is a learning curve but there is tons of help online. I only have two complaints on this. One, there have been random crashes that shut the game down and I need to restart everything. Second, is not much a complaint but a request why is there not built in cloud saves. Yes, I know there are workarounds for this. However, it would be awesome if I could play on tablet. Then shift over to Mac and then while out on the run open this up on the phone. Great game none the less.
