They lock me out
iShankaholic on 2020-02-17
I did like it for a while and then I lost my wallet and compromised my cards along with the bank accts connected. Unfortunately, my bank said the best way to go with it was to get a new bank acct. mind you I was able to do all this by phone. But stash on the other side decided to lock me out my acct. they also won’t let me add my new bank acct if I didn’t provide an official document from the bank saying my old acct is closed. Been dealing with this for a while now. Missed some opportunities cause I can’t make any moves with my OWN money. My own money!! They’re holding it hostage for a piece of paper from the bank that’ says my old acct is closed. So they want me to take time out of my day to go to a bank and request a piece of paper that says that old acct is closed. Do they even hear themselves?

Update #2- It has now been 2 weeks still no reply from customer service only automated messages saying sorry for being so patientoh no! my patience is now gone! It has been 2 weeks and still my money is nowhere to be seen ?? I will now begin selling my investments and pause all money coming into my stash account !! I had a good amount of money deposited in my debit account and for some reason after it was processed a couple days later my money was gone and in neither of my bank accounts, it has been 5 days already since i have reached out to customer service more than a couple times and still have not heard back at all. I want to know where my money is !? I am getting really inpatient and problably will not be using this service as it has sh*t for customer service !
A way to learn and a safer ground to invest by.

I love being brief and to the point. You have low fees to invest in this app. You have many valuable lessons presented in this app. The explanations are in common English, avoiding the investment nomenclature. You can feel money safe in this app. It’s the real deal not a scam. The debit card is great as it provides me three things: Instant reporting of charges made on you made. Stock purchases on purchases made. This though tends to be very small. You have less risk as I limit the available cash on this card in the event of scam. But you need to due your homework!!!!! You can lose here as well or really make a income. I just wish there could be more involvement in the questions as they occur.
Been good for years

I like stash, I like the concept. I was one of the few when they launched. I that time I was a student. The App has evolved over year to include companies and a new layout. I like the fact that they have section where they educate (new) investors. As for me I haven’t used they debit card, so cannot talk about that specific service. Maybe if they have a high yield savings I might be interested since I already know them. I would really appreciate if they display more financial info (like the Beta... and others) and separate mutual funds the same way they have ETF. I also think the layout in the home page has a lot of unnecessary info or features that can be put in the side.
Great investing app

I have been using Stash for about a year and a half. I started by investing $25 per week, and have moved up to $35 with adding in the roll up to my account so it is more like $50 per week. I pick different stocks and am spread out between conservative high dividend to aggressive middle dividend options. It has been a lot of fun and allows me to take part in investing without feeling like I needed to drop several $1000’s at one time. My money has grown well and so far only one of my stocks is down everything else is up substantially. This is a great app for beginners. It’s the first thing I check in the morning. Got to love a BULL market!!!
Stash invest is great! Stash debut is the WORST
lassiesmth on 2020-02-17
I have loved using stash invest it works well and makes investing easy. However with the stash debit I’ve had several problems. They have messed up my birthday in their system and they keep denying a 32$ purchase due to it being ‘unusual’. Just a normal online purchase. Their phone reps are rude and unhelpful. I have emailed them about this problem several times with a photo id with my name and birthday and nothing after a week. Don’t waste your time. Also they lie about stock back. The stock back doesn’t apply to your bills or any purchase over about 120$. I can’t even cancel my account because I can’t ‘verify’ my information. BEWARE.
My Account Has Been Locked for Over A Month
Ecjr623 on 2020-02-17
I made an error when investing and my bank took some money back that I had invested. Stash then locked my account and asked for me to upload my bank account ledger to prove it was me. I did that immediately. I received a message that they had the documents and would contact me if anything else was needed. After a week’s time my account remained locked. I tried calling several times and after being on hold for 10 minutes hung up. I have also emailed Stash customer service twice and still no response. It’s been over a month and still no response and my account remains locked.
Great way to Introduce yourself to investing

I’ve had this app for a couple years now. I started using it because it really is a great way for beginners to start investing with a minimal amount of money. 2 years in, I really wish they offered some of the features that other apps offer. For example, “Public” has an interest bearing account of 2.5% for non invested cash. I would move my savings if Stash had an account like that. I also wish that Stash had more stocks for us to pursue on their platform. They have added a lot, which was great to see. But, it still pales in comparison to the vast amount of stocks on other apps.
Greatest App

Excellent. At first I was skeptical about Stash when I joined. Now a few months later I love it. Especially the linked in Stash Debit Card makes it so rewarding and beneficial. I would recommend Stash Debit Card to anyone. It makes it so easy to track expenses for personal & small business such as freelancers use. The whole concept of Stash is so perfect. I would spread word pro actively for all young people to use Stash Brokerage & use Stash Debit card. A person in 20 s can build such a great portfolio using Stash when they retire , it is amazing ! Thank you Stash.
Stash App is the train you need to hop on right now!!

This app is trustable, well put together, and has everything you need even starting at $1 a month cost of subscription. It’s worth every bit of it. Get into it, start reading the tips section in the app. Do this now so you’ll benefit later!! I started with buying $5 of stock in my choice company or EFT once every week. Invest small and often. It averages your purchase price of shares and doesn’t require you to play the market or try to time anything. I’m a current college student at osu. This is a legit personal review. I’ve had 10+ months experience with the app.
