FABULOUS App But Could Improve

This app has completely changed my fitness routine for the better. It keeps me on track, accountable and makes it so easy to get a workout in at home with a busy schedule and minimal equipment! I feel better physically and mentally and stronger!!! With that said, I do wish a few features would be improved to make it even better: 1. TIME TO TRANSITION POSITIONS - During the PWR at Home warm up and cool down especially, I wish the app gave me 5 seconds in between each exercise to switch positions. I have to constantly hit pause to ensure I do the exercise or stretch for the full amount of time before going to the next. 2. MORE OPTIONS DURING LISS - Once I start a LISS workout, there’s not many options available to modify the workout. Sometimes I choose to Walk for 30 minutes but during my walk want to extend that time but can’t. 3. MORE OPTIONS WITH THE PLANNER - Would love to be able to plan workouts for the future or add a Rest day in the past. 4. PROGRESS - Wish there was an option to upload photos from my camera roll as well as add text to the photos to make tracking progress easier. 5. FOOD PLANNER - This may work great for some people but sadly a but too complicated and not flexible enough. Would prefer more of a breakdown of recommended macros and food options.

This is keeping me moving during quarantine! If it weren’t for this app and my sister, I’d be a couch potato!! So worth the money. Update ~5 months later: Still at it with the app! I’ve worked out pretty much daily since quarantine began in March (I started using this app in April) and even though I started teaching last month from home, I’m still able to keep at it on weekdays. This app is very motivating and easy to follow— workouts are a challenge but definitely getting more doable after all these month. I’ve gone through a few of the programs and did one of the challenges for a month or so. I am currently working through the newest program, Kayla’s equipment free one and love it!! I’ve seen such a change in my ability to do things, well-being and appearance. Get this app!!!!!!
Really motivating

I mainly value this app for the intense but doable workouts that can be done at home. I love that it’s a female run business also. I think the meal plans are a little unrealistic, because of time needed to prep and the availability of the ingredients used, also it would cost a lot to follow. But between the price and the ease of following this at home, I feel very accountable for completing each workout. It’s kept me engaged for 5 months solid now, and I’ve only don’t BBG so far. There are lots of other programs to choose from. I would appreciate them adding more modifications with no equipment and personalized stat tracking. I’d like to see it visualized if I’m getting faster, see how many reps I get in, etc.

Love the app! Really makes you motivated to do the exercises and I like that it’s a circuit-type training so you don’t get bored. I do wish that when you do one of the workouts that’s not part of your weekly workout that it goes on your planner since it counts towards your resistance workout. I’d like to keep track of which Glutes or Abs/Core workout I’ve done. Also, when doing the cardio sometimes the step tracker freezes and it stops counting your steps. Very frustrating when you’re trying to reach a step goal. UPDATED: Please bring back the step and mike count at the end of a cardio session. Although you can see your progress during the workout, it would be nice to see the final count. Thank you.
Great App for Busy Working Moms!!

I am constantly working and being a mom and a wife is not easy to find time. By the time I get home is too late to go to the gym or go out for a run. This app has saved my health l, I get to do it right at home. Even throughout the COVID pandemic I still have to go to work because is not something I can do remotely. The no equipment exercises are gold and they start you off slow and as you get stronger your exercises become more complex but completely doable. Love the food recipes and the calendar, it basically has everything in one. And more than one trainer if you ever want to switch gears, I already got my whole exercise year scheduled with this app

I love this app. It definitely has a bunch of different programs to keep you motivated. I loved the feature before they did an update of how the app use to automatically transition between exercises... now it just countdowns and doesn’t alert you the exercise is over & then never goes to the next exercise unless you hit the button to do so. Sometimes when you’re in the zone you don’t want to constantly have to keep looking at the timer to see when you have to move to next exercise... so for that I’m deducting a star. SWEAT- if you read these please bring this feature back and I’ll update my review to 5 stars.

The reps groups on some of these workouts are interactive. They move on when you do. The fitness programs you pick go on a calendar. The options for non equipment is perfect. I’m super happy with my purchase so far!! I took a chance and selected the year for the discount. I was hesitant since the last app I used didn’t motivate me. It was like watching a YouTube video. I’m so glad there are more options than just watching a video... this one is more motivating bc I can track my progress. Feels kind of like the way Crossfit does. Thanks Sweat App!!! I really needed this
Not impressed/ Not worth the money

I don’t see why this app is worth $20 a month. I’ve done 4 weeks of the post pregnancy and they’re not challenging at all if you don’t include the warm up and cool down, you’re looking at an 8 min. ineffective workout. She doesn’t even have videos to work out with you and all the moves repeat, so you can pretty much use it a month and reuse all her moves. You also can’t look ahead weeks to see what it coming, so you’re stuck paying for it if you do. The meal planner thing is nice, but overall not a very well thought out app. Beachbody and Openfit are way better.

SWEAT is my one stop shop! Being a SWEAT member and having access to all the resources I need to keep me going with my health and fitness journey is like hitting the jackpot. I love that I can simply open the app select my workout and get moving without leaving my home; which works perfect for my schedule at the time. But I also enjoy knowing that through the SWEAT app I have landed on the best community that motivate and inspire me everyday. I feel so lucky to have found Kayla, SWEAT and our amazing community!! I downloaded this app in 2017 and found the app clunky and the workouts time consuming. I tried it for a few weeks and couldn’t stick with it. Jump to today - 2020 - and I thought, let’s give it a try and wow!! Incredible progress both on the app itself and the workouts. I feel like they are both doable and challenging, and I love how user-friendly the app is!!! I’m seriously blown away and am very motivated to work out everyday with this app. Highly recommend to anyone who wants home workouts (a necessity in Covid times). Thank you!!
