First, to pay for a game and then still get more sales pushed is annoying. But what’s frustrating is (1) some legitimate words aren’t accepted, (2) it’s either all sounds or none — I can’t stand all the noise during play so turn it off, but the countdown clicker would be really helpful, and (3) there’s no explanation about what, for instance, causes a round to end, so it seems random as to how long a round goes. Sorry I paid for this.
The concept is fantastic. Almost everything about it is great. But another game that can use a dictionary that acknowledges common words (but also maybe not proper nouns) would be way better. I guess someone will copy the concept and get it right (or maybe someone already has?)
A good concept, but I’d like to know what dictionary it uses. So many of the words that I know are legitimate are rejected by the game, thereby causing me to use more time and garner fewer points. Frustrating!
I am so tired of being asked to review. So here it is. I’m also tired of turning off the sound every time I want to play the game. Make it a little more user friendly!! And how can ALL the nicknames be taken??
Many words accepted in other word games are not accepted here. The countdown is so random. Sometimes you can take as long as you want to find the words and then you just get 90 seconds. Still fun to play!!
This game is not the one mentioned in the New York Times. It is obviously not free as the ad describes as you need to pay to down load. This app should be removed by Apple for false representation.
I am really enjoying this game, but it is frustrating when common words are not accepted, eg “sate”. I see that the dictionary has been updated at least once, but it still needs more words.
This isn’t the viral sensation Wordle, it’s trying to get your money because you think it is
Wordle is not an app, only available by website:
How hard is it to use a dictionary? How can you make a word game that doesn’t recognize common words? Could be promising, but that’s unforgivable.
So it says “free with a twist.” The twist is that it is not free. Plus have to agree with other reviewers, bad dictionary. Still fun.
